Nan was treated with care, kindness and respect. She thoroughly relaxed as she settled into a more comfortable time, enjoying home cooked food, scenery and comfortable surroundings. It was thanks to the manager and teams hard work and effort that nan and her sister were reunited in her final weeks which
meant the world to them both.
Management, staff and care teams are all excellent. The event girls who took nan into the fresh air and gardens made her very happy. Thank you everyone!

"5 star care home" My dad has recently been in Roden Hall for respite and I can't praise them enough, the manager was amazing and completely there for us as a difficult time. She understood our needs, showed us around and answered our questions putting us at ease. All staff are wonderful and treated
my dad with care and dignity. Beautiful modern home - thank you!

I recently stayed at Roden Hall on respite having had a fall and spent four weeks in hospital. I discovered Roden Hall online and from the promotional video seemed just what I was looking for. I booked in for two weeks. After only two nights I realised it bore no resemblance to what I had seen on the
video, the food I was served was inedible. I complained, there was no apology and, it was to be the first of many complaints regarding the food. I suggest you remove the promotional video. Outside agencies are, I was informed, responsible for the poor food. There is a Chef/Cook on site. When she was in charge of the kitchen the meals were good. I found nothing that could describe Roden Hall as Luxurious and was in fact very disappointed. It was expensive because of the poor standard and payment had to be upfront. So on arriving home, I was surprised to receive an unpaid account for six thousand pounds.

To clarify, our meals are prepared fresh onsite by our Chef and kitchen team, not by outside agencies. In fact, we are very proud that our Chef is a finalist at the National Care Awards 2024. We did address your concerns by preparing special meals to suit your preferences. We apologise that these efforts did not meet your expectations. The invoice was automatically issued because your departure fell on the 1st of the month. We apologise for any inconvenience. We were unaware of any other concerns and are therefore puzzled to see a low rating in areas beyond the food. We believe our services represent good value for money, our fees are benchmarked and are excellent value for our offering. Our team went above and beyond to assist with your move and settling in, and we are saddened to learn that you left feeling dissatisfied.

My father has been a resident at Roden Hall Care Home, we cannot fault the care and respect given by the staff. Dad's room was immaculate and the gardens were lovely. Since joining Rotherwood in 2021, Rebecca has played an instrumental role in auditing and compliance, contributing to the most recent CQC inspection in which St George’s Park maintained its overall rating of ‘Good’. For 23 years’ prior, she worked as a Paramedic in the British Army.
