The award-winning care provider, Maria Mallaband Care Group, is opening an elegant new care home, Homefield Grange, near Christchurch, Dorset to add to its existing network of 62 homes.
Funded by UK healthcare property investment fund, MedicX Healthfund, this care home development will provide luxurious accommodation for 64 residents and offer a combination of nursing, residential and dementia care.
Situated in the picturesque village of Winkton on the site of a former school, Homefield Grange’s ensuite bedrooms are decorated to a hotel standard and feature state-of-the-art equipment, including a flat screen TV, telephone point, safety features and nurse call systems.
The home will also provide a full range of onsite facilities including cafés, cinema room, dining rooms, a sensory room and a hair and beauty salon, as well as beautifully landscaped gardens.

The grand opening from 11am to 6pm on Friday, 28 February will be conducted by the local mayor, Councillor John Lofts. A member of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution will be attending and visitors can enjoy entertainment, champagne and canapés. In addition, a family day will be held on Saturday, 1 March from 2 to 5pm with children’s entertainment.
