Fairlie House

from C W (Wife of Resident) published on 16 September 2023
Overall Experience  Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5

My husband was a resident for over three years. The time he spent there was outstanding, from the manager to the receptionist and all the staff on his floor. He was cared for with so much kindness and the love they all showed for him, again, was outstanding. They all made his last years of his life
so happy, I couldn't have asked for more.

Fairlie House is safe; Outstanding home and have enough staff to provide individualised and dignified care. There is effective training which equips staff with the skills to competently render care.
Fairlie House is effective in care; Good knowledge of legislation and law. Fairlie House had got a lot
of qualities that set her as an Outstanding home.
They care for people using the least restrictive methods, so as not to unlawfully deprive people of their liberty.
There is a collaborative culture where staff are involved in making best interest decisions on behalf of their residents with mental capacity act standards.
Care is wonderful; People visiting the home are able to witness excellent rapport between staff and residents. Interactions are positive and built upon trust and respect.
Promoting person-centred care always. There is an underlying understanding that every resident is different.
Fairlie House is well led and responsive; A good manager is available to all in need.

Thank you for all your support and help given to my sister during this challenging time due to COVID. She looked so well and happy as I have not seen her since last year. Can't wait to hug her, so glad she is in good hands with caring and loving staff. Special thank you for everything you do.
