Our Mother was a resident at Cheaney Court for almost three years.
In that time her care was exceptional!
The team led by a professional manager worked extremely hard to provide a safe, kind and welcoming environment for both residents and visitors alike. My family do not hesitate to thank the whole
team for their care and efficiency in making our Mother's final days comfortable and safe.

My dad was moved to Cheaney Court Care Home in September 2024. I was unsure at first because of previous experience from other care homes. From day one, my dad has been cared for. Management and staff listen to families, were made to feel very welcome. Dad has said that the staff care, he feels relaxed
and settled. Dad is always clean when I visit. There is no smell when you go in, only food that is cooking. Dad is now bedbound and he is being attended to regularly, staff are always pleasant to Dad, showing respect and is treated with dignity. It's nice to know Dad is in good hands and is safe. I have no concerns and would highly recommend.

The staff are all very caring, attentive and friendly and strive to do the best for my mum each and every day, whatever that brings. Her being looked after here has given our family all great comfort and peace of mind. She is now end-of-life and is being looked after with dignity and respect and everything
has been explained and as a whole family we have been looked after sympathetically. I would like to thank each and everyone involved in her care. Keep doing what you are doing, you are all fantastic.

My mum has been at The Lakes for a year now.
The staff are all amazing. Everyone is so kind and so friendly. We feel very welcome when we visit and it feels like mum's new home.
We feel that she is safe and cared for but can retain what independence she has.
She enjoys the food and the activities,
especially the singing and loves being able to get out into the garden.

A huge thank you to all the staff at Cheaney Court for an excellent, well-run home. My dad was a resident here for nearly a year. The staff were wonderful and warm and caring. I used to visit regularly, the home was always clean, the staff were all familiar faces and treated the residents kindly with
warmth and humour. You could regularly hear laughter in the corridors and everyone managed to stay cheerful and positive, even under trying situations. It is hard to move a parent to a home, necessary this time for health reasons, but Cheaney Court made it easy and gave regular updates. Dad sadly passed away in October, and this was treated with kindness and compassion. Thank you all again.

My father was transferred directly from the hospital to Cheaney Court, Desborough suffering from multiple debilitating ailments. Every effort was made by the staff to assist with physical recovery, providing encouragement where needed while also looking out for his mental well-being.
Staff always
went the extra mile to make both Dad and visitors feel welcome and at home - a nice atmosphere makes for pleasant visits.
My thanks to the staff and management, highly recommended.

In the eighteen months or so that I have been at Duncte Hall I have had no off-putting experiences and the overall experience has been very good, especially the nursing cover. Foodwise I have to have what I am given (Tracheostomy)

Mum has been cared for in Duncote Hall since the end of 2021. During this time she has been looked after with great kindness and dignity. She has a range of needs and the nursing team are excellent at ensuring she is seen by the doctor when needed and ensuring she takes all her medication at the right
time.
The staff are very friendly and caring both to my mum and the visitors she has. There are a range of activities each week which she is able to participate in. Her room is on the ground floor so she is able to get around easily and it has a lovely view over the garden. Mum is happy and well cared for at Duncote which means so much to us as a family.

Overall the care home is good but there are a few things which could improved. I'm told by my dad that the food at lunchtime is not good, and left most of the time. Also, the heating in the lounge room is very hot and not a lot of ventilation. When visiting my dad is found in the same area and seems
to be just left in his wheelchair.

My mum is in a very difficult place and the care she has received at Duncote Hall has been exceptional. That she is still alive is down to the care she has received and the way the staff have treated her. I have always been welcomed and since she has deteriorated they have ensured that she is comfortable,
clean, and fed and her pain is managed.

Since my father has become a resident at Cheaney Court he has been treated with nothing but care, kindness and dignity. All the staff greet my father by his name and never pass him without a few cheery words or conversation if they have the time. While my father is reluctant to join in the many activities
on offer he is still gently and kindly encouraged to participate. With regards to the cleanliness and food provided both are excellent. On behalf of my mother and myself, I wish to thank the management and staff. We are both very grateful.

My Father has been in Cheaney Court since November 2023. The care he has received has been of a high standard even when he is going through an "awkward day".
The main complaint from Dad is the food is boring, especially as he has to have mashed food due to a swallowing problem and the desserts are
boring.
The staff seem kind and professional in a difficult working profession.

My Father was at Cheaney Court for several months and he was well looked after. The management and staff were all approachable and not once did I see a miserable member of staff. They always had a smile on their faces and were very welcoming. The home itself was clean and well-maintained.

This is a very friendly, caring and supportive care home. Always greeted with a smile whether it's management or care staff. We couldn't have asked for better care than what was given and shown to my dad. Whenever there was a change in my dad's health or his care needs had to be altered we were contacted
straight away. He was as happy as we could have hoped for. 10/10 to CheaneyCourt Care Home.
