Overall Experience

The care and attention my brother received for the duration of his stay at St Anthony's was, in my opinion, second to none. The staff have always been courteous, attentive and very caring. I would have no qualms about recommending St Anthony's to anyone.

My mother has been a resident for around a year and I am very happy with her care. The team are very caring and keeps me updated on everything that is going on. My mother enjoys one-to-one activities and they ensure that she gets that.

My brother is a resident at Stanborough Lodge and myself and my friend have visited on many occasions i.e. Xmas Party, BBQ, it's a lovely home, very welcoming and all the staff are lovely and caring. Overall Experience

Stanborough Lodge Care Home is more than just a care home, it's one big family where staff show so much love and care. The manager has created a warm, friendly environment where my mum has spent the last 2 years. Very professional service with updates regarding health and care and the staff are so quick

to act on any health issues. The activities and events are wonderful to see. Summer bbqs, Halloween parties and Christmas parties help make some very special memories with our loved ones. Special thanks to the manager and her amazing team. They deserve all the awards going.

Overall Experience

Yet another outstanding party/celebration for residents and care staff and families - this time for Christmas. This care home has the best care and focus on its residents making celebrations just as they would have been when the residents were in better health/well-being. I have come away from a Christmas

Party that feels like any family party and not at all as if it was anything but a family celebration. This Stanborough team is the best.

Mum has been here for about 4 years now. She is severely disabled (unlike others there) yet this is no problem for the St A's team. They always treat me with friendly professionalism and Mum with a smile and chirpy can-do attitude. I've no insight into food or facilities.
Mum's room has just been tastefully

refurbished/redecorated which was unilateral on St A's part.
Value for money is in my estimation very good.
They seem to always be on top of the slightest health issues and managed covid exceptionally well with strict protocols - some staff actually lived in to accommodate.

Overall Experience

My mother has been at the care home coming up to two years. In these two years, my mother has had complications with medication and her eyes started to deteriorate. The manager and staff were extremely understanding, helpful, and kind towards my mum walking around with her until her operation for her

eyes. Now she has clean eyes and is playing pool and getting back involved with all the activities and arts and crafts that the home puts on every day. She is a different person now. The staff has helped her become her own person again and confident now she can see. The care and skill that the staff have, definitely set my mind at ease. Leaving my mother with them after the operation.

Overall Experience

My father has recently moved into this fabulous care home. The manager and all members of the staff have worked compassionately and proactively to help him settle, giving me regular updates and working extremely hard to get to know my Dad as an individual and make the care home his home. It is such

a happy and friendly place. A real home. Everyone knows each other and the relatives and friends get to know the other residents and relatives. It is such a huge relief that my Dad is safe, happy, and extremely well cared for. Thank you Stanborough Lodge!

Overall Experience

My experience generally is very good. The home seems very clean and tidy and I like the effort the staff put in for particular events like Halloween etc. Despite a difficult start, I believe my mother has had care and support since she has been at St Anthony's. I feel my mother is also safe and secure

and is being looked after which is our main priority. Possibly a little more feedback about how my mother is on a day to day basis, what she is eating? How much of her meals is she eating? Is she participating in any of the activities? Is she being encouraged to do so? What are her sleep patterns like? A little feedback would be very welcome.

Overall Experience

Excellent care provided. Staff evidence care and respect for residents. Nothing is ever too much trouble. A range of stimulating activities are a regular feature of the events programme. The atmosphere feels like an extended home from home. When visiting, families are made to feel part of the care home

family. The environment is bright and clean. An excellent provider who is sensitive in its approach, leaving relatives reassured in what can be worrying circumstances when loved ones need to be cared for by others.

My brother has been living in St Anthony's now since September 2022. I find on every visit he looks well looked after and doesn't ask to come home. So that says a lot. The staff seem very caring with him.

St Anthony's Care Home has been excellent for my Mother.
It's like 'home from home' a small very friendly care home.
The staff are consistently providing excellent care.
There are always activities taking place.
Visitors are welcome and always offered tea on arrival. After dreading putting Mum in

a home, I realise she is happy and well looked after.

Overall Experience

My mother has been a resident at Stanborough Lodge for 17 months and is looked after by the manager and staff with great care, kindness and attention.
The manager is exceptionally kind with a lovely approachable manner and always available - nothing is too much trouble. The staff have the same qualities

and I am always made very welcome.
I would like to take this opportunity to particularly highlight the amazing care the manager and staff showed recently when my mother required emergency medical attention. The degree of care and attention shown to my mother was truly wonderful and of the highest calibre. Due to the staff's prompt and appropriate specific care, my mother is absolutely fine.
Stanborough Lodge is lovely - just like a real home (a home from home!) - the residents are treated with great care, kindness and dignity. My mother is very happy and I am equally happy to know she is being looked after by professional, kind people who truly care.
