My mother in law has been in Collingwood Court for nearly 2 years now at first she was not keen on being in a care home but she has made new friends and seems a lot more at peace within herself. She now does activities and goes on days out with Joanne and all the staff I've met seem very nice. All the
family just celebrated Marion's 92nd birthday with a spread put on by the staff and special thanks goes out to Joanne

Ayton House

from J D (Daughter of Resident) published on 11 April 2025
Overall Experience  Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5

Ayton House is a special place. Being brand new and purpose built, the facilities are of course excellent, but it is the qualities of the special people there that elvates it. Not just my father but our whole family have been embraced and cared for with professionalism, courtesy, respect and extreme
kindness. We were so supported in navigating the practical and emotional course of Dad's changing needs during his stay. We were always kept informed and given so much helpful information. We were also enabled to relinquish the roles of carers to spend precious time just as family, enjoying the day to day life and activities. Because of the exceptional tender loving care Dad was receiving, we could come away each day with confidence, as were leaving him with those who became extended family. Our experience has been that Ayton House is full of people who care about why they are there, who go above and beyond the call of duty, with every department contributing. The result is excellence and we are very grateful.

My mam has been living at Ponteland Manor for 3 years now & I am happy with the care she receives,it's the little touches that make such a difference , staff making time to stop for a chat or showing an interest in her craftwork. The links to the community are great , even I enjoy the group trips to
the social club where it's nice to meet Mam's friends & have a coffee with them.Because of reduced mobility it's great that mam has access to a brilliant hairdresser & podiatrist.

My mother was recently discharged from hospital and there was no way that she could return to her Assisted Living flat . The process of moving Mum to Priors House went smoothly and not only Mum but the family were welcomed warmly by the staff. The staff here are outstanding and clearly take pride in
what they do - it shows!! Sadly mum is declining but there's no other place I'd rather she be than being looked after by this professional and dedicated team.

Seacroft Grange

from Dawn W (Daughter of Resident) published on 11 April 2025
Overall Experience  Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5

Mum has been a resident since July 2023 with Dementia.
This is a well run Care Home and Mum settled in well most of the time.
Reception are excellent, so helpful and great first point of contact if I have any questions or need assistance.
Mum lives in Courtyard and has a comfortable, clean sunny
room.
Seniors and all staff are brilliant, treating residents with kindness, care, dignity and respect.
After a short period of withdrawal and weight loss last year when Mum wouldn't come out of her room and lost her appetite. Home Manager solved the issue and Mum has now gained weight and is sitting back in communal areas so thank you.
Activities available to residents are excellent with a lot of energy put in to entertainment, making a happy home for all who live there.
The Bistro Cafe is a lovely place to take Mum during visiting and I would highly recommend The Grange to anyone who maybe looking for a safe, happy and caring environment for a loved one.

The Care my mother receives is excellent. All the teams are very attentive and approachable. The activities are well organised and I know my mum enjoys it most when the activity involves music and dancing.

Highmarket House

from Gill K (Wife of Resident) published on 10 April 2025
Overall Experience  Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5

From the time my husband came into Highmarket he has been looked after very well. Just walking through the door, a happy greeting from all receptionists, the nurse on duty and all the carers, they seem to go that extra mile to make sure my husband is comfortable. The reason for the low mark on food,
he doesn't like some food, but they always give him another choice.

Ventress Hall

I aways promised mum I wouldn't let her go into a care home but I realise now that if you need 24 hour care she's in the best possible place. The Staff seem Very caring and are always cheerful despite being very busy. They also made her room more like home by putting up her pictures and personal possessions
and keeping it very clean. I also appreciated the little things like a welcome basket of toiletries on mums arrival. It's a sad time for family made better by a smile and a chat from the staff.

Review of

Chandler Court

from Simon H (Son of Resident) published on 10 April 2025
Overall Experience  Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5

My mother had to go into care and have a nurse bed. We needed to arrange this urgently and Chandler Court staff especially one member of staff, were extremely responsive and excellent and had it all organised in a few days. My mother was looked after well and the nursing staff were excellent and supportive
all the way till she passed away and we're then very kind and supportive in helping us deal with it.
My father has also recently been admitted there and has bad dementia a d is on the dementia ward where the staff seem very good and hopefully he gets the help he needs.
Overall the home is very nice and modern, staff and food and amenities are great.
Definitely recommended.

Foxbridge House

from A L (Respite Resident) published on 10 April 2025
Overall Experience  Overall Experience 4.0 out of 5

I have been given a very favourable report from my two daughters initial visit, whilst I was still in hospital abroad, but on arrival from Barbados into London Heathrow Airport, and subsequently and ambulance journey to Foxbridge, I was truly delighted with my new temporary "home". The whole design
of the building, its cleanliness, the two gardens, which I later could visit, not to mention all the smiling members of staff! Thank you all for caring fro me so well those 2 weeks.

Due to my mother being repatriated from Barbados, we were able to secure a short stay room for her to recuperate after an accident. We found the service at Foxland House to be exceptional, from the manager to all on the front office, care team and nursing team. Thank you!

The 'med' team are very professional and meds are always delivered at the correct time. The carers are all friendly & helpful. The activity team provide
activities to stretch the brain. When I leave shortly I will have left my second family behind.

Cuttlebrook Hall

from M E (Daughter of Resident) published on 10 April 2025
Overall Experience  Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5

My mother has Alzheimer's and had been widowed for a year before moving Cuttlebrook Hall. It took some time for her to settle but with frequent visits from myself and my husband and great care and understanding from the staff she is now quite settled. She particularly enjoys all the lively music and
party events and has some happy days when she is more down the staff treat her with compassion.
