My mam is a resident and all the staff especially her Key Worker cannot do enough to look after my mam, nothing is a bother to them and they are always smiling. Today 3rd April is my mam's birthday as a surprise to my mam Collingwood Court put on a birthday tea for my sister her husband my wife and
me and mum it was wonderful there was no need for them to do this but it shows you what kind and generous people they are. Well done and thanks you.

My mother in law has been in Collingwood Court for nearly 2 years now at first she was not keen on being in a care home but she has made new friends and seems a lot more at peace within herself. She now does activities and goes on days out with Joanne and all the staff I've met seem very nice. All the
family just celebrated Marion's 92nd birthday with a spread put on by the staff and special thanks goes out to Joanne

We cannot praise the team at Grangewood enough for the care and dedication they have shown our mam. After a long stay in hospital, the communication from the team was excellent, ensuring a smooth and well planned return home. The deputy manager provided invaluable preemptive suggestions for Mam's care,
reassuring us that with the support of the community nurses her needs would be met safely, comfortably and with dignity. The love, warmth and care shown on her return were truly heartwarming - Grangewood really is HOME to her. Her room was immaculate ready for her return. One lady visited Mam in hospital which proved how this amazing team go above and beyond. Thank you all.

Mam joined Cheviot Court in June and we've found management and carers very friendly and approachable. Mam's Alzheimer's means she can be confused and tearful at times, but we know all her needs are being met at Cheviot Court, including a range of social activities and excellent and varied food menu.

My dad has been a resident since October 2024. We could no longer manage to keep him safe in his own home. While it was a difficult time having to leave his house, all the staff at Collingwood Court made it as easy as possible for us all with their friendliness, care and professionalism. The staff are
fantastic and the activities for the residents are amazing. My dad has an activity everyday if he wants to be involved. He has thrived making some new friends with other residents and staff. The staff go the extra mile. Two staff members in particular are fantastic they put everything into making residents happy and stimulated with a wide range of activities. Another staff member is very helpful in the office and nothing is too much trouble. The staff are amazing they way they look after the residents including 4 in particular. My dad has all his needs taken care of, our family are made welcome to visit, the home is immaculate, dad gets lovely meals and he is smiling again. Thank you Collingwood Team.

The home has a warm caring atmosphere. On arrival at the care home, staff are always pleasant and helpful. The staff caring for my mother are friendly and caring. They do an amazing job despite often being short staffed. Unfortunately my mother doesn't communicate much which sometimes results in her
being sat for long periods without a toilet break. However as soon as staff are aware of this, she is seen too.

Welcoming, kind, caring and more like a family. Dad is constantly smiling and singing. Impressed with all the staff especially 4 staff members in particular, nothing is too much trouble. Dad had mentioned the food is fantastic, very nice plenty of snacks. Staff are not here for dad, they are a nice
support network for
the family.

The staff at Cheviot Court really do go above and beyond for their residents. My grandma recently celebrated her 100th birthday and this occasion was marking in so many fantastic ways by staff. As a family, we were blown away by the effort and ability to think outside the box when planning Grandma's
birthday celebrations. In particular, 2 carers, who listened to grandmas stories and used that information to make her day so much more personal. Cheviot Court is a fantastic care home and we couldn't wish for a better staff to be caring for our loved one.

Always had negative opinions about care homes until my dad arrived in Collingwood Court. There is a lovely atmosphere with kind patient staff. The building is spotless and the carers cannot do enough for all the residents. My dad loves it here and it feels like a second family to him. The relief I feel
knowing my dad is loved and well looked after is immeasurable and I can now relax and not have any stress knowing that my dad is happy and well cared for and settled.

Hadrian House

As a person with experience in Adult Social Care finding that perfect setting with my mother and siblings was the hardest responsibility I have ever had to undertake, we contacted Hadrian House and my mother viewed the following day and her response "Can I move in now". The environment - home from home,
food amazing, care staff fabulous. Sadly mam had a serious turn for the worse, off to A&E, I called in a few days later with the sad news, without hesitation, the manager said "Bring her home", I could not be more proud or thankful to hear such words and we will be forever in debt, a new room, breakfast for our family on arrival, nothing was to much trouble, just so much attention to detail, care above and beyond from all, empathy, love, patience and a smile, staff tolerated our silly Jokes, stories and memories, as we struggled as a family sitting at our beautiful mother's bedside waiting for the moment she would leave us for the final time. Thank you.

My mum was at Hadrian House for several months. She was brilliantly looked after. The care team are helpful, friendly and responsive. I visited a few times and, bar none, the staff were welcoming. I never had any doubts she was well looked after, well-treated and cared for. The care home is safe and
secure and has a super-friendly atmosphere. Thank you Hadrian House for everything you did for my mum.

My mother arrived for a period of respite after falling numerous times when living independently and being in and out of hospital. After 8 weeks respite, she has decided to stay permanently. She has had no falls since arriving in Collingwood Court, is happier, safer and no longer isolated. Staff have
been welcoming and supportive. My mind is at ease and everyone is happier. Thank you Collingwood!
