  • Care Homes Owned by Healthcare Homes Group Ltd
At Healthcare Homes staff are compassionate, committed and caring. They are selected for these values and the management team do everything they can to support staff to help them to fulfil their promises to you.

The team treat everyone they care for just as they would a member of their own family; every member of staff is treated as a family member too.

The homes are warm, friendly places. They range from rural Vicarages and Manor Houses to urban modern builds. Healthcare Homes doesn't do cookie cutter!

Once you have decided that a move into one of their care homes is the right decision for you, they do everything they can to get to know you well so that they can design a care plan that is completely bespoke and unique.

They take the time to find out about your care needs and preferences: the types of hobbies and activities you would enjoy; what you have done in your lifetime and what routines you are used to; what you do and don’t like to eat; and much more. They then design and document a care plan so that everybody involved in your care knows exactly how you would like to be cared for.

And they provide much more than care homes. They also offer wrap-around 24-hour live-in care; homecare packages that adapt to your needs; and specialist care for people with more complex needs. And when your needs change, their care can change to meet your needs.

The Malthouse Residential Home

from Ann C (Respite Resident) published on 15 April 2025
Overall Experience  Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5

After a difficult 3 weeks in hospital, (not helped by sleep disruption during the nights while other patients needs were attended to) the Malthouse gave me just the environment and support I needed to restore my confidence in living alone in a house. The kindness and care all the staff gave me made
me feel special and that my feelings mattered.
My only problem, being a light sleeper and very tired by this time, was noise and lights during the night. Once the staff realised that I was having problems, they did their best to make it easier for me and I subsequently slept much better.

Haughgate House Nursing Home

from Pat B (Sister-in-law of Resident) published on 14 April 2025
Overall Experience  Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5

This home is a delight to visit. It is light and airy and every member of staff you meet greets you with a smile. I was a lay assessor for care homes in the past and this home is by far the best I've ever been in. The rooms are so nice with a feature wall that the maintenance /builder man Daniel has
designed that is so welcoming and pleasing to the eye, makes each room special . The food is beautiful my relative says it's like a 5* restaurant. The activities staff are amazing all sorts going on, the gardening club, trips out , music events, rabbits to hold etc.,
The staff in the home are a team and they are all a very kind ,caring team, all of them deserve a medal. The respect , dignity and love they show to residents is outstanding.
I really think this place is the gold standard, if only all homes could be like this.
I am truly stunned by this home and congratulate the manager and all the staff for the love and care they show my beloved brother in law.

My mother recently died aged 96 years old after being confined to her bed for 3 weeks. She had advanced dementia, but at all times, she was treated with dignity and respect. All the staff in St. Genevieve Unit were so kind and thoughtful to both my mother and to me. Her bedding was changed most days
towards the end, and staff popped in to see her regularly. My heartfelt thanks to all the staff for making her stay over the past year so positive.

In March 2024 my dad was taken to the Chase from hospital. His care has been excellent. Staff in the GlennMiller unit are amazing. treated with dignity and respect. We couldn't have wished for a better place.

from Jeremy H (Son of Resident) published on 9 April 2025
Overall Experience  Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5

My mother has recently moved into Hillcroft House following a 4 week stay at hospital. It became clear that she could no longer live independently at home after a number of falls and deteriorating memory. So far I am really impressed with the kindness, understanding and patience shown by all the staff.
It has been a difficult time but made much easier knowing my mum is in a safe environment and is well cared for. She seems to be settling in well. Even in the first week the staff went out of their way to ensure she had a very happy 90th birthday.
