When my twin Sister and I chose The Kite care home for our 103yrs Dad, we won the lottery. Although he was only there for a very short time before he sadly passed away, he was REALLY cared for by all the staff. The best care we could have hoped for, with amazing dignity and compassion. They also cared
for us. Cups of tea, and a hug when needed. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to each and every one of you. I wish I could name you, but you all know who you are.

I am really pleased with all the care my husband is receiving at Kitehill Care Home, it has taken a few months for hire to settle in, but with the kindness of all your carers and in the lounge where he joins in with all the activities provided. When I visit it is a pleasure to interact with all your
carers and other staff they are all so pleasant.

Reply from Christine Chessell, Administrator at Kite Hill Care Home

I found the care home very friendly, cheerful, and always on hand to help me in any way possible with a high standard of professionalism, especially from the senior staff. The day-to-day running of the home was always exciting with joy and happiness, and all the residents and staff I was able to meet
during my visit, without exception, were happy and cheerful.

I have found the staff exemplary. They are warm and caring and I have peace of mind that my sister is well taken care of. Any time I have questions or requests they are actioned to my full satisfaction. Communication works well and I am kept informed of anything relevant to her care and personal needs.
The locality is lovely and my sister's room is pleasantly decorated and has a peaceful green and water view. I can't recommend Woodside more, whenever I visit I am welcomed and I can see first-hand the excellent care she gets.

Mum was in Kite Hill for 3 and a half years.
She had a very pleasant room with a sunny view over the decking area. She loved the food which was nicely cooked.
She initially found it hard to mix but the activities and entertainment brought her out of her shell. The activity staff are so enthusiastic.
The care staff, although very busy, were generally kind and thoughtful.
The care home definitely gave her the nearest to her own home possible.
We would definitely recommend it.

Kite Hill Care Home

My mum became a permanent resident at Kite Hill on 1st October 2024. She settled in so quickly, better than we ever imagined, because she was immediately made to feel at home there. This is due to how wonderful all the staff are, so caring and welcoming. The manager has been there for over 15 years,
along with some of the other staff, this shows what a good home it is, consistency of staff is so important. They are like one big family. Another lady who is the activities coordinator and she is a bundle of joy! So enthusiastic and brilliant with the residents. My mum doesn't go out of her room at the moment, but the activities coordinator makes sure she sees her every day and gives her activities to do in her room. The food is amazing too, fabulous chefs! Everything is fresh and cooked from scratch. Mum says she's never had a bad meal, she really enjoys the food. The home is always spotlessly clean too. I cannot recommend it enough and neither can my dear mum.

My mum moved into Kite Hill in March 2024, I'd been caring for her on my own and we just couldn't manage by ourselves anymore. From the moment I knocked on their door, they couldn't have been kinder to me and my mum. The staff are absolute angels, they really do care for the residents and it shows.
My
mum has a lovely room and her own toilet, I bought her in lots of little things that make her room more homely and familiar.
The food is all home-cooked and fresh, my mum enjoys it.
I visit most days and spend a lot of time there, the level of patience and understanding they show every single day is amazing, not only to my mum but also to me, if I'm upset or struggling they're always really kind.
Everyone from the lovely lady at reception, all the carers, the maintenance man, the cleaners, and the chefs all go above and beyond. Me and my mum are very grateful to each and every one, we love them all. Thank you Kite Hill.

My late mother was in Woodside Hall for just one week, receiving palliative care. The nursing home was a really lovely place for my mother to spend her last week. The staff were excellent and provided the highest standards of care. Visitors were made to feel very welcome. I felt I was treated compassionately
at a very difficult time.

Woodside Hall Welcomed our father in October 2024 and for the final few months of his life he was treated with dignity and respect from all staff members who had contact with him, the care he received was outstanding and we were always greeted with a smile and made to feel welcome and nothing was to
much trouble listening and answering any questions we had, the food was excellent and when we asked him he always said yes I like the puddings, my dad was happy at woodside hall and we are so pleased we chose woodside hall to care for him in his final days.

Our father was welcomed to Woodside Hall in November 2023.
During his time at Woodside, we could not have been more impressed with the care and support he received.
Everyone was so friendly and professional, maintaining his dignity at all times. He was always asked his opinions and was treated like
a person, not just an old man.
Staff took time to talk with him, listening to his stories and talking about his favourite subjects.
The meals were home cooked and he always had choices, including cooked breakfasts.
His room was spotless clean, as were the communal areas.
We were always informed of any change in his condition and the staff were often his voice when dealing with outside medical professionals. He was made to feel safe and secure and we couldn't have asked for any more.
Our Dad was happy at Woodside Hall and all the staff helped to keep a smile on his face. Their kindness made a difference.

I couldn't ask for a more caring and professional environment for my mother. The staff are outstanding and show such kindness, they are all jolly and fun creating a wonderful home for my mother who loves it there. I have not seen my mother so calm, so relaxed and happy for many years. Her previous years
home alone were stressful and she was agitated and anxious, now she is happy and relaxed. Thank you to all the staff.

They communicate with him and us as a family. My father who is now 90 is thriving at Woodside. His needs are met
consistently and I can only thank everyone at the home for their care of him.

Over nine months ago my husband was placed in Woodside Hall Nursing Home at Wootton on the Isle of Wight. At first he was unhappy at not being allowed home, however, thanks to the care, nursing and other services provided for him, he is now happier and in good spirits. Families are made welcome by all
staff and they help us to keep our relationships in good shape. On the 8th of June, we had a party for my husband's 90th birthday and many guests attended.
