I was really apprehensive on arrival, I was greatly impressed with the whole appearance of the place. The cleanliness and hygiene were above my expectations. The staff were very friendly, approachable and very attentive with the residents that were in the day room. I came home not feeling guilty or
worried about her being in a care home.

Staff are welcoming and friendly. We are able to visit in the lounge with the dog, which brings pleasure. Our sister is treated with kindness and respect.

My mum has been a resident of South Haven Lodge for almost four years. I have noticed so many positive changes recently within the home. Since the new manager took over, there have been many improvements. The staff seem happier, the communication is much better and the residents seem much better cared
for. The activities coordinator is lovely and does a fantastic job with the residents. I have no worries about my mum's care and the home keep me updated if there are any concerns about my mum's health.

My sister-in-law has dementia and went to South Haven Lodge a few months ago. She was very confused and anxious. We visited today, and she was so much happier and very chatty. The staff are very good with the residents and very caring. We are so happy with where she is.

My Mum is currently in this care home and she is happier than before, she is treated well and is much more active. The staff are great and it feels like they really care, She has not been there very long, but so far I'm really happy.

My Mum has been in this care home for a few months now and I am more than happy with the care she is receiving. The care workers and nurses are kind and friendly. The food is really nice. I would recommend this care home. The best thing is she is now eating and trying to walk again which is amazing
and it's all thanks to the care she is getting.

My family and I are so very grateful for the care and respect that is shown to my mum.
The food is quite simply lovely, and my mum enjoys it all. My father, brother, and I often join our mum for Sunday lunch.
The staff are so caring and easy to approach.
The only possible criticism would be patients'
rooms are a little drab.

My mum had excellent care in the home for the time she had in there, always been clean and tidy. Staff lovely. She had been in there for 9-years. New manager has been very good with Mum and very caring. Can't fault any of staff at all.

We visit on behalf of the solicitors either because they have no relatives or none living nearby. We provide clothing/toiletries and treats and visit on a regular basis. The staff are friendly and our clients are well looked after. Their rooms are well maintained and clean. They enjoy the entertainment
at the home.

South Haven Lodge has been extremely helpful in setting my mind to rest with regards to providing care for my mum during Covid. They are a very approachable team and have their mind on providing residents with the care they require. During this time, my family have been able to phone and Skype our mother
with the assistance of the dedicated staff at the care home, so that we are able to keep in contact. They provide an excellent service. I have not visited South Haven due to Covid. My review has been based on my experience on Skype and the phone calls with the staff and my mum.

The home is very friendly and the staff are very helpful. My mother, I know, is looked after well now once the staff got used to her, also my mother gets on with the staff. The security is very very good and when you are sat down in the lounge you can meet other residents and they look happy.

A warm and welcome environment. The staff are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Mum has settled in very well into the warm and welcoming environment. The staff remember the family first names. They always give us an update on how my mother has been. We can have tea/biscuits at any time, this is
not a facility just for residents. As a family, we are very happy with South Haven Lodge.
