Overall Experience

Mums been at Dorrington House for over two years. While the decor may need some updating I can't fault the home and its staff, they really do care. We have worked together to settle mum and deal with any issue that arise's. For the first time in mums life she has a social circle the ladies in the Lounge

are good pals encouraging each other in the activities. It's a joy to see them interact with each other even if some days they're muddled. They have a busier calendar than me!

If you're looking for a home for a family member which you can trust I would 100% recommend Dorrington House I'm kept updated. It's up to you on how much you're involved. I'm very involved and always feel welcomed no matter what time of the day I show up. They have nothing to hide the residents wellbeing always comes first. Well done Dorrington House.

Overall Experience

I am very pleased with the care my aunt has received since she has been at the home. Staff are knowledgeable and attentive, and I feel that my she is in safe hands. I would happily recommend this care home.

Overall Experience

I am a volunteer for the church and visit monthly and join in other times with activities. I am always impressed with the happiness of the residents the staff always attending to their needs and going above and beyond to join in the fun and activities. We love singing all together and it's a great atmosphere.

I would recommend Dorrington House to anyone and would send my relatives here.

Overall Experience

Skeleton staff on Sunday. Clean throughout and tidy, with a really nice friendly atmosphere. Nice carers, all very friendly; my husband seems happy here and warm. If he's happy that's what it's all about.

We find the care the staff give to our Mum excellent they are always very supportive and helpful to any of Mum's needs. Any concerns they are always quick to inform us either by telephone call and or email.

Overall Experience

For ten years my husband's mother in law was cared for at Dorrington. She was wonderfully looked after, professionally, respectfully, but also lovingly. I am sure that her good care was why she lived to a very old age.

Overall Experience

Unfortunately, my Dad had to move from another care home(due to the care home closing), and Dorrington was our only choice. Sadly, after the wonderful care he received at that care home, Dorrington is not to the same standard. At 92, he was distressed to be moving, he is receiving adequate care, but

is not settling in well, we are hoping this will improve with time, but he seems to be reluctant to be involved. Some of the staff are lovely, takes a special person to be a carer .

I find Dorrington House to be an excellent place for my sister to be. The carers are excellent and very helpful, kind and considerate. The premises and bedrooms are all very clean. And best of all I am always offered a cup of tea "LOL". Overall, an excellent home.

Overall Experience

My mum seems very happy and settled at Dorrington House. She enjoys the food and has put on weight, and it is lovely to see all the activities that are arranged for the residents. Mum has dementia, but overall, there seems to be an improvement cognitively, which is due, I believe, to the games they

are encouraged to play which involve questions and answers. My mum has had a few health issues, which the staff seem to deal with quickly and competently.

Absolutely brilliant, wonderful staff who really go above and beyond,in the true sense of the expression. Dad is really happy there kept active and involved and always tells me about his new friends. All the staff are very friendly and nothing seems to be too much trouble. I had mixed emotions when we needed to find a care home for mum, we visited a few in the area and chose the Dorrington as it seemed so friendly and very welcoming, the overall standard of care looked to be very good, and we haven't

been disappointed it been 4 months now and mum is very happy and has settled in very well.

Despite having mobility issues, my dads health seems to have improved overall along with his cognitive abilities. His skin tone and colour has improved and he seems much happier in himself, he says his food is very good and the staff are wonderful. there must be some truth in that because he is quite

My friend is being looked after well and over the months he's been at Dorrington, has accepted personal care that he wouldn't accept at home from carers or anyone else. There's a lot of activity going on, which is good to see even though it's not something he would want to take part in. I am a little

disappointed that nothing has been done by way of a hearing test as his deafness is a further barrier for him. He's been referred but months have gone by since then. Also, I have been told about personal care provided in front of him, which seems disrespectful.

Dad was accepted with great warmth and kindness upon arrival at Dorrington House Watton. Overall Experience

My dad has recently arrived at Dorrington House, and I have been so impressed with the standard of care and empathy that all the staff at all levels shows to my Dad. The improvement in his health and well being is amazing in such a short time, and continues to improve. Its a pleasure to visit Dorrington

House and see the day to day workings of a busy environment which is second to none, the food and snacks served are a good quality and all areas of the house are immaculate.

The care team are always in contact with me and when I call for any updates whilst my Dad transitions into his new life at Dorrington House, I am always dealt with in a very professional and caring manner, nothing is to much trouble.

Overall Experience

As soon as you walk into the care home, it definitely feels like a home, and not like a glorified hotel. Receptionist and manager were extremely helpful and very welcoming. All areas were clean, lots of different areas residents could go to, and a lovely outside space, lots of activities on offer too.

Best home that I have visited, and with great staff would highly recommend.
