18 years after easing my Mum's passing, 4 years since that of a dear friend and now my loving husband. Personnel have changed but the loving, compassion, cooking and exemplary care continue. Thank you for the kindness shown to us over recent months and don't ever change.

My mother was resident at Jasmine Court for 4 years since the death of her husband. It was apparent that he had done a great deal for her while they both lived at home and that she was not capable of supporting herself. Jasmine Court were very kind - they made her comfortable and looked after her very
well. She soon required constant care and 24 hour observation which they provided without fuss or question. There was always a doctor available to advise each time there was an instance of infectious disease in the home and we were always notified. Her stay included the Covid-19 period, during which time strict precautions were taken with visitors but at no time did we feel unwelcome. Mum's heath declined significantly in her final 12 months and we knew the staff were concerned for her, especially as she was bed-bound and couldn't join activities or socialise. Her passing was managed with dignity and care - I'm sure she would join in my appreciation for the care and support she received.

My mother joined you in January 2025 and quickly settled in albeit getting used to her new surroundings was initially difficult. I found the management and staff to be extremely pleasant and knowledgeable and provided a clean healthy environemtn for its residents. Although my mother was only with you
for a short time I felt assured she was well looked after and comfortable.

My husband was a resident of Jasmine Court for over two years until his recent death. The home is clean and warm but what makes it exceptional is the staff. The manager is a treasure and the whole team are friendly and welcoming.
My husband was bedridden and suffered with advanced vascular dementia
so wasn't always easy but he had the very best care - we couldn't have found better.
They cared for us as a family, particularly at the end, and went over and beyond in their support of us all.
I am extremely grateful to them all and would highly recommend Jasmine Court to anyone who is looking for dedicated care for their loved one.

My dad was living in Jasmine Court for several years, unfortunately he suffered with severe dementia and was bedridden but I always knew he was cared for to a very high standard.
All of the staff were friendly and welcoming when we visited and supported us through my dad's declining condition.
It
may not be modern but as someone who has worked in care homes that's not what I was looking for. I wanted a care home that put their residents needs first and actually cared for their residents. And that's exactly what I got.
The manager is an absolute gem and I could not praise her or all of the staff highly enough.
My dad recently passed away here and the staff supported us throughout going above and beyond nothing was too much trouble.
Highly recommend Jasmine Court and I hope this goes someway to thanking them for the care and support they so kindly gave my dad and us all as a family.

Shortly after dad went into Jasmine Court it quickly became evident nothing is too much for all the staff and he was made to feel at home and all his needs taken care of.
We cannot express enough how amazing Jasmine Court have been looking after dad during his time with them as well as making us
feel welcome during our visits.
All the staff always seemed to go over and above to make sure dad was cared for, loved and included in everything which took part there.
Jasmine Court became his home for the final months of his life and we will be forever grateful to everyone there for looking after him (and us) so amazingly during his time there.
Jasmine Court is by far the best nursing home we have visited and we would not hesitate to recommend it as a safe, comfortable and welcoming place for anyone's loved ones who need care.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to all the staff for caring so well for dad as you did, we are truly grateful.

The staff at Gardinia Court have cared for my mum and brought her back to us with their love and kindness. Mum is so happy there! The Christmas party was fantastic with music, dancing and singing, a raffle and amazing food.
Every week they do something with the residents and daily physio has really
made a difference to Mum.
We can't thank them enough!

I cannot praise the staff at Jasmine Court enough.
My mum was resident here for the last year and in that time was shown the utmost care and attention with nothing being too much trouble for the staff who always seemed so willing to go above and beyond what was necessary. Every effort was made to
put her well-being a top priority.
Mum was always treated with the greatest respect, even when at times, she could be challenging.
I will be forever grateful that the staff at Jasmine Court looked after my mum when it was no longer possible for her to stay at home. They all made her, and us, feel so welcome and you became an additional part of our family.

My wife and I have been and still are visitors to at least five care/nursing homes over the last five or six years. So far this is probably the best out of all of them and would recommend Gardenia Court to any of our friends or relatives.

After a month in hospital my father was sent to Gardinia Court. He was sent to the first available place. We felt very lucky that he was sent there. The staff were so kind and caring and kept us up to date with how he was doing. I would highly recommend the home.

The managers of Gardenia Court and staff looked after Dad so well, I cannot recommend them highly enough. We visited the home regularly and there was always plenty of staff available to talk to if we needed to and we were grateful to have the offer of a tea or coffee. He was always clean and looked
well cared for and the interaction between Dad and the staff was lovely to see. When Dad was able to enjoy his food it looked really tasty and smelt wonderful. His care at the end of life was wonderful and they kept us informed of his health at every stage. I would like to send my heartfelt thanks and gratitude to all the staff, using their skill, experience and compassion looked after Dad so well with kindness.

Jasmine Court Nursing Home

from A I (Son of Resident) published on 12 September 2024

My mum spent almost two months at Jasmine Court, initially receiving care which then led onto palliative care. Throughout her stay, Mum seemed happy and relaxed. Whilst she was able, she spent her time in the lounge, looking at the Weston Super Mare seafront. She loved Weston, the view was important
to her and always brought her peace. Jasmine Court has a warm, almost family feel, and you feel this when you enter, from the warm smile and offer of a cup of tea, from whoever meets you at the door. This level of care is evident throughout the home, the staff are engaging, often seen in the lounge talking to the residents. The home in general is clean and tidy always as are the resident's rooms. The one thing that always got mentioned by those that visited Mum, was that "It doesn't smell like a home!" Which speaks volumes in itself. My mum, is now at peace, although it is a sad time for us all, I would like to thank the team for making her stay calm, comfortable, and dignified. Thank you.

My husband is always clean and very well cared for, the staff are always bringing around drinks for all the residents and biscuits which they all enjoy and they take great care and respect when dealing with everyone. The room he is in is always spotless and he washed and all his clothes and bedding
are wonderful. He is happy there, they go above and beyond. If you have any worries, they are dealt with immediately.

All the staff were so caring, compassionate, and professional at all times.
My father was always kept clean shaven, washed, hair, nails, and clothes nicely presented.
Staff were attentive to his needs sharing valuable information daily.
On entry, the staff explained the process of his care package
and provided a tour of the home, including the excellent kitchen. His room was freshly painted comfortable chairs, and plenty of blankets.
They provided a welcome pack with essential information which reassured us about his care.
When he passed away the staff couldn't be more supportive.
Such a lovely friendly environment.
Thank you.
