There was a period of adjustment for her following her admission to Parkfield, eventually she settled well and spoke warmly about the staff there, often commenting on their patience. She also enjoyed some of the activities.

Thank you for your review. We are glad that you were happy with most aspects of your friend's care in the two months that she was with us, despite concerns about her staying in bed at times during the weekends. Your friend, who came to us from hospital, was very poorly at times. We don't insist that residents get up if they are not feeling up to it. They are never alone, as our carers, nurses, activities staff and housekeepers regularly check on a resident who is staying in their room. Each resident has a call bell to summon extra help at any time of the day or night, if required. However, we appreciate honest feedback from our residents' families and friends, and work closely with them and our professional colleagues to ensure that our care is the best it can be. If you wish to talk further to me or raise a complaint, please contact me at the home. All the staff always had time for her and for us as a family, genuinely caring people doing a job they are passionate about and this was seen and felt on a daily basis.
Even the housekeeping staff were friendly, kind, caring and very respectful.

The day room is the heart of the home, the TV is amazing and the residents seem to be very happy there. Each day there are activities for the residents to enjoy and the team of experts looking after your loved one 24/7 are all really nice people and highly trained in their area of expertise. The kindness and patience we have seen them show to the residents is second to none.
We know that dad is safe and happy at Inglewood and we are most grateful to everyone for taking such good care of him. There are so many positive things to say but most importantly, we have peace of mind.
