I have been lucky enough to have dealt with Parton House twice over the past 12 months. Firstly my mum went in for respite 03/24 for 3 weeks. Mum had become very demanding previously to her visit and the staff were all so patient with her. It was such a relief to know she was so cared for in a beautifully
warm, caring, fun environment.
Moving forward to Feb 2025, my frail elderly neighbour decided she needed more support.
I contacted the manager and she was so supportive and visited my neighbour at home to reassure her and talk her through everything. She decided on staying for 2 weeks initially.
Before the 2 weeks were up she had decided she wanted to stay permanently. She is having a blast. I've not seen her look so happy in such a long time. Every time I visit She has done a new activity, keep fit, dominoes, singing and seeing the weekly hairdresser. So much going on daily, great meals. It really is like a hotel. The staff work so hard.

We had to put my mother into respite care in January 2025. The manager was very accommodating in getting us a place sorted. The home is very clean and well ran, I would recommend this care home to all. The food seems to be all home cooked and served up nice and hot.

After a fraught few week's mum has settled down quite well. For someone who is almost 100 years old and fiercely independent nowhere is going to be quite like home. Its only in the last couple of years she has needed any help at all, doing online shopping at Tesco's up until her mid 90's. Unfortunately
failing eyesight and gradual memory loss has meant she had to become more reliant on close family and additional care staff. Even though she had at least 4 care staff calling daily as well as family members calling twice a day, she was becoming increasingly lonely. She now says she is quite content at Parton House care home and there is always someone to have a good natter to. The staff are always helpful and courteous to residents and visitors alike. Overall, it's a clean and happy environment with several little quiet rooms if you need to discuss something of a sensitive nature with your loved one.

Parton House was chosen by my sister and I for our father for its previous reviews and positive recommendations.
We cannot fault the medical care he receives, pills are administered at specific times and all necessary tests are provided. Community nurses come to medicate his leg ulcers on a regular
basis. A dr comes when necessary.
A car with a carer has accompanied him to dental appointments which is an excellent service.
The meals are very good and the staff all seem very willing, friendly and patient.
There are many activities downstairs in the lovely big dining room but unfortunately our father doesn't seem to want to take part in these, he prefers to stay in his room which he now calls "my little home".
Sometimes clothes after laundry go astray but name tags may do the trick to prevent this from happening.
My sister and I receive regular emails from the management to inform us of our father's health and well-being and should there be a problem, we are promptly informed.

The care given by all members of staff and management was excellent from the time they visited my Mum in hospital to assess her needs to the point when she was fit enough to return to her own home.
The quality of care was matched by the range and quality of food as well as the cleanliness throughout
the home and the friendliness of the staff.

Mum was extremely against ever going into a care home and was living independently although somewhat lonely. When she developed mobility issues we tried to handle it in her home. We soon realised it was no easy task! We did some research and decided we liked the look of Parton House and even better
it's close to where we live.
We persuaded Mum to go for a look and try it for 2 weeks respite. Treat it like a holiday etc!! She very reluctantly agreed. I can honestly say she treated me as if I had put her in prison for the first couple of weeks.
Now approximately 2 months later Mum has a new lease of life (and so do we!) At first, she stayed in her room most of the time. Now she is in the lounge socialising with her new friends and enjoying the activities. The staff are all friendly and nothing seems to be too much trouble. I really appreciate it's not an easy job and they all seem to have so much patience. We have no regrets at all and are very happy with Parton House and so is Mum.

Mum found it difficult to settle in initially in June but this is mainly due to how her health has declined. The staff have always been willing to assist Mum settle in, I find them friendly and professional.
Really happy with the keep in touch meetings held with the Care Home Manager who always gives
honest and truthful feedback and it is obvious they have got to know Mum and her individual traits etc.

My mother has been a resident at the home for respite care on three separate occasions. I would highly recommend Parton House, the staff are caring and helpful. The home is kept spotlessly clean and the food is very good. A doctor visits regularly as does a hairdresser.
Although my mother's stays have
been of a fairly short duration, I believe that the care she has received has facilitated her return to her own home.

My mother has been in Parton House for 7 months and is receiving great care and attention at a time of her life when she needs 24/7 support for everything. The care is delivered timely with dignity and care for Mum and the manager and staff are welcoming and very good in communicating with me about
Mum's care needs, wishes and safety.
All very good as well as being in a perfect local location with nice grounds and gardens for residents disposition and wellbeing.

Upon arrival, the reception and management team are always very welcoming and eager to help. All staff we come into contact with no one, my wife and always stop to say hello. My wife has late-stage dementia and is very well taken care of. We feel satisfied that her needs are met and she is comfortable,
safe and secure. She seems content and settled in this home.

Everyone here is very friednly and mostly very kind. I'm grateful for the help I get, meals cooked, washing done etc. I don't need much personal care yet but I know I can ask for it when I do.
There are lots of interesting activities put on for us. The only thing I don't like is that supper is too
early.

Mum is in Redlands on temporary respite care after a fall. I have only good things to say about Redlands. The manager runs the home really well. All of the staff are lovely and seem really happy. They all show the residents kindness and respect and really engage with them. Mum is very happy there and
I am secure in the knowledge that she is safe and being well looked after, which gives me peace of mind. We are hoping that Mum can remain at Redlands permanently as that is what she now needs.

Our mother had a fall and broke her coiler bone, it was a dangerous break and it could have pierced her lung.
My sister and I didn't feel confident about caring for her, so we started ringing around care homes on our return from the hospital, it was a Saturday night, and Parton House was the only one
that took our name and contact details. The next morning called us back! The wonderful care home manager arrived to see us the same day and her professional manner and her ability to deal with our father, who has dementia, made our decision easy.
Mum moved into Parton House for a month of respite care, and it was the best thing we have ever done. Mum thrived and she started to be more like her old self, thanks to the care home manager getting her a hospital appointment to diagnose an illness that required medication. We had tried and failed to get the appointment brought forward.
We are so grateful to all the staff at Parton House; they are all amazing caring wonderful people.
