Harvest View has been absolutely amazing for my mom and all our family.
The care and support they have shown to my mom is second to none!! Nothing is too much trouble for them, they are kind, funny, caring and supportive.
The staff are the best out there, receptionists are welcoming. Honestly, the
best place for someone to recoup and recover.
My mom doesn't want to leave, that's how much she loves it there.
would 100 % recommend.

My sister has been in Harvest View for a prolonged stay and I was very happy with the treatment, care and attention she received while in the Care Home. When she went in she was in a very bad condition and was sent there from the hospital, since she has been in there she has improved in many ways. She
was treated for her mobility which was very poor and she can now manage with the aid of a walking frame. She has regained her appetite and is eating well. The staff at all levels were friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them to do.

Not at all the high standard I would expect from this place. Clothes go missing. I turned up two weeks ago and all her clothes were in the laundry. I went and bought new clothes, and a week later when I turned up her clothes were still in the laundry the ones from last week and the ones from the previous.

I

arrived today, at 10.55 am for an assessment by a care home due at 11 am - she was still in bed, sleeping. soiled from the night before, in a room that was a complete mess and all that looked like had happened was they opened her door and just left her there, not even has she had breakfast.

When my husband was transferred to this facility we were told the maximum stay was six weeks but I would have been happy for him to stay there permanently. I had no idea such a wonderful place existed. He had his own en suite room. They have dining and lounge facilities. They have a large range of equipment
to aid rehabilitation.
On our first visit we were given a tour and shown where we could make a drink. He didn't respond to efforts to get him mobile again but staff continued to try.
He was kept very clean as was the home. His clothing was laundered. The staff were welcoming and friendly. Although he was sometimes difficult they always treated him with respect and gave him and us, a smile.
If your relative gets a chance to take advantage of a few weeks rehabilitation in this facility grab it. Staff are great. Pleasant garden with seating.
Wide choice of menu for meals prepared on site. 5 stars.
Only down side, not enough parking spaces and home is only half open yet.

Walker Grange is an amazing place. The staff go to extreme lengths to make sure residents are looked after. They are compassionate and caring. Nothing is to much trouble. I cannot praise the staff enough. I would not hesitate in recommending Walker Grange.
