My mother, who has dementia, became a resident last summer after 4 years of living at home alone. From day one she felt cared for and settled in right away. I usually see her once a week and she is always happy, she looks immaculate
If I ever have any concerns the staff always have time for a chat which is reassuring. I always come away from my visits at Blackwood feeling comforted knowing that my Mum could not be in a better place.

We're sorry to hear your concerns, these were not raised with the Home Manager at the time, but she is always available to discuss any issues and her door is always open. We're sorry to hear about your feedback regarding the laundry and will pass this on to the team to ensure it is addressed. We understand how important this is and will look into it further. Regarding the meals, our chef speaks with residents daily to understand their preferences and is always happy to prepare alternatives to ensure everyone enjoys their dining experience.
