My mother has been in The Meadows for 2 years and during that time the home has just got better. The staff are lovely and are not leaving (which speaks volumes). At the start there was some agency staff but in the last year they have not had to use any.

The Management door is always open so can address

any concerns quickly and efficiently.

The Meadows is spotless and they always have something going on for the residents to do, if they want.

It is a great weight off my mind, that my mum is happy and well cared for.

My mum has settled into Mull Hall very well. The staff have been kind and supportive from initial meetings to discuss the possibility of her moving in and this has continued with the support she receives from the staff day to day.
The staff are always ready to listen to any concerns and make sure
that they do the very best for every resident. The activity coordinators provide a variety of fun events to keep the residents entertained. They are positive and cheerful and always welcoming to us as a family when we visit Mum. I highly recommend Mull Hall.

My mum became a resident just before Christmas after spending 4 months in hospital. All the staff have been terrific - very welcoming and friendly and working really well as a team to make my mum's transition as easy as possible. I have been impressed with the facilities and witnessed on numerous occasions
the love, care and respect everyone is treated with - there is a lot of fun and laughter too. Visitors are made to feel very welcome and the atmosphere is very warm, friendly and nurturing. It definitely has a strong community spirit when time is taken to get to know residents and their families. I have been so impressed and cannot thank the staff enough for their dedication, humour, skills and care.

The staff have been welcoming and friendly on my visits and although understandably busy, seem attentive and caring to the residents and to know them personally and as individuals and take time to speak and interact with them. This helps create a warm and homely atmosphere. The decorations and care
paid to enhance the environment over the festive period were lovely touches, and the extra activities included music events. I have been able to eat a meal (very good food lovingly prepared) with my Mum or have a cup of tea together on occasion, which is very much appreciated. There are quiet and calm areas to sit as well as a range of activities in the larger room. The manager and deputy manager both took the trouble to introduce themselves to us and have proved very approachable. I have had a very favourable impression overall and am grateful to the team at Mull Hall.

Mum moved into Mull Hall Care Home in mid-December, having previously been in hospital over three months, awaiting a place in a care home. Prior to her getting her place, I had had the opportunity to visit Mull Hall, see the facilities and chat with the assistant manager. It was a very helpful visit
and I was impressed by the staff who I saw there, their interaction with the residents and the facilities. Along with the activity programme.
Mum has settled well into Mull Hall with a nice bedroom which she has been able to customise with some belongings from her former home.
During my visit to Mum, I have been impressed with the friendliness of the staff and the obvious care they take of those who live there. Mull Hall has a positive atmosphere and I am really happy that Mum was able to stay there.

My dad moved into Mull Hall Care Home on the 23rd of December and has settled surprisingly quickly. The staff have been amazing and have made a very difficult and upsetting time a lot easier for both me and my father. Leaving your loved ones to the care of others is one of the hardest things you will
ever do but knowing he is happy makes it so much easier. All the staff are so lovely and caring and spend time getting to know the residents. The care I have witnessed, so far, has been heartwarming. In the short time he has been there, he has already had a few medical concerns and the staff have kept me updated at all times. A great team.

My mum became a resident on the 27th December 2024, the staff have been so accommodating in helping her feel at home. Nothing is too much trouble for them and they are very caring, kind and compassionate. Their level of care is above and beyond anything I was expecting from a care home but they go that
extra mile.
The food is excellent, activities are great, lots of day rooms where you can join in with others or have a quiet spot to sit and enjoy the beautiful views.
Bedrooms are large and spacious and well thought out, the ability to take any items from home there is a huge benefit to making it feel like your own wee sanctuary.
As a daily visitor, I certainly could not find fault with any aspect of the care provided, the food, activities or the home in general. Just a delightful place and people and a huge weight off my mind knowing my mum has such a high level of care being given.

We as a family are delighted by the care that our father is getting at The Meadows. The management and their supporting team are exceptional. Our father has been here since May 2024, and they have made what can be a traumatic experience for the family, as easy as can be. They have not only settled Dad
in with great care and sympathy, but have been a great support to our mother and us, looking out for her, and reassuring her along the way of this difficult journey. Since their arrival, we have seen such great improvements having visited it prior to them joining, and it is truly a much-improved home and head and shoulders above the rest, and we are delighted and very grateful for the care that Dad is receiving. From experience elsewhere, there are no lingering smells, the food is good and varied, there are no alarms constantly going off, and the friendliness, warmth and flexibility from all the staff is noticeable. We can't speak highly enough of the team at The Meadows - thank you.

My mother moved to the Meadows care home from another care home.
Since she has been there, she is more sociable and is encouraged to attend events and activities both in the home and community events.
The family are delighted with the care she receives, she is well catered for and gets offered alternative
meals if she doesn't want what is in the menu.
Despite how minor they are, I am contacted if there are any medical issues,
Although she is wheelchair bound, the garden has accessible paths, when the weather allows, she is often sitting out.
Friends and family are invited to have meals with mum, we also have the opportunity to use the dining room for family events.
The staff are friendly and attentive to mums daily care.

My Mum was offered a place at The Meadows Care Home. Initially, I was concerned about the distance from Inverness but both my and my Mum's minds were put at rest when the member of staff came to visit my Mum and I prior to going into the Care Home. The Member of Staff was lovely and very caring and
understanding. We took my Mum to the Nursing home the following day and all the staff were very friendly and helpful, making my Mum, myself and my Husband feel very welcome. All the staff have been excellent since my Mum moved into the home at the beginning of May, they have all been very caring, providing a very high standard of care to my Mum and keeping me informed of any changes in my Mum. My Mum loves living at The Meadows Care Home and I am delighted with the care that she is receiving there.

I moved into The Meadows Nursing Home at Dornoch in May and I am very happy here, as the staff are very caring and they all mix with the residents it is like one big happy family and no one is left to feel alone. Today I was resident of the day which means you get pampered all day and you get to have
a meal with one of the staff. This happens for every resident each month and my door number is 4 so every month on the 4th I will be resident of the day so every day is a resident's day, and no one is left out. I think that is a wonderful idea. Thanks to every member of staff for being so kind and helpful, I just love it here. Any relative or friend need not worry as everyone is taken very good care of and it is a marvellous place to live.

My mum is in there at the moment and my dad was too but passed away. I am so glad they were in the home as the manager and staff are so good to the residents and they are so welcoming to the relatives as well... the amount of care they give to them is brilliant and the activities they do are great:
bingo, tea parties, festivals and so much more which the relatives can get involved in to... my mum loves it, and I don't have to worry about her as she is in the best place ever.
