Thank you for your feedback about the care and our staff. We're sorry to hear about your concerns - these were not raised with the Home Manager at the time, but she is always available to discuss any issues and her door is always open. We can assure you we have robust cleaning processes in place and are in the process of replacing a carpet in one of the bedrooms on the second floor. We can only apologise about the commode. Our team are extremely conscientious about cleaning and personal hygiene, and we appreciate you bringing this to our attention. We will continue working to ensure the highest standards of care.

We apologise for the delays in communication with the GP and the challenges with medication adjustments and will review this process to improve coordination. Regarding your concern with the billing, we apologise for the mistake, please rest assured this is being rectified as we speak. Thank you for your review and for your feedback, it is taken very seriously by our team at Briggs Lodge. Our team were saddened to read your review and would love to speak to you about the points raised above whenever you're available.
Our team is always here to support with visits and phone calls to loved ones, however, I believe it has been discussed that calling in the afternoon is easier, as our team is often supporting our residents first thing in the morning or our residents are taking their protected meal times. Our residents' needs and wants are at the heart of the care we provide, which is why showers are usually taken rather than a bath.
Our home is always fully staffed for the number of residents in our home and during busier times we increase the number of staff working to ensure safe practice and that are residents' needs are fully met.
The manager's door is always open for you, to chat through your review or anything else you'd like to raise with us.
