Overall Experience

I moved my brother 3 years ago, it was the best thing I ever did. He has put on weight and can now hold a conversation. I cannot express how grateful I am for the care and attention that all the staff give. I'm always contacted if there is anything they are concerned about. We can visit at any time

and are allowed to take him out on days out. All the staff are friendly and very approachable. There is always something going on for the residents whether it be days out or other social events. I can definitely recommend this home.

Overall Experience

The Homestead is an excellent care home, the staff are outstanding and it is spotless. It is run in a fantastic manner like a cruise ship. One staff member in particular has the skills to work at Buckingham Palace, it is so sparkling thank you, it gives me comfort to know it is so clean. All the staff

get a 5 star from me, they support both my parents and myself. The manager is alert and thorough, all his staff are switched on. The food is made freshly every day, it is nutritional. It is a happy place, all the staff are friendly l thank you so much for taking care of my beloved parents.

The staff are friendly and helpful whenever I come to visit my elderly mother. The staff are always helpful and friendly whenever I telephone my mother and or any of the staff. The staff always help the best way they can when I raise my mother's needs and concerns.

Overall Experience

My husband now has two families, and he is very settled. The staff are so good to him, and it is very genuine. When I visit, the same genuine care is shown to me and the family and that is all the staff that are there from carers to catering - the food is excellent. The office staff are always helpful

when get in touch, their rooms are always clean and tidy. One of the places he likes is the craft room he may not do a lot of craft, but he loves his cup of tea and company. As the home is on a social media platform, a lot of what they do is put on there, and I always look forward to what they are doing and keep all the photos.

Overall Experience

My mother is very happy at the Homestead and the staff are amazing. They go above and beyond. Recently my mother had her 90th birthday and the staff made sure she and the family had a wonderful day. She is well looked after and the communication between the Homestead and myself, her son, is excellent.

Overall Experience

The Homestead is a wonderful place for my Father to live out his last few years. They are caring, and respectful and work so hard to keep him stimulated by laying on all sorts of activities. He is warm, well-fed fed, and well-looked after with regular visits from doctors and other medical support people.

A particular staff member is incredible and a great leader and I have never had a single issue in over 2 years. Keep up the good work guys.

Overall Experience

Great care for all residents. You can speak to the staff easily about any concerns and they keep in touch to tell us about any issues with Dad. Excellent care. Very pleased with how Dad has settled into this care home because they interact with him so well that he's very happy too.

The staff constantly engages with residents, there are many activities, and they demonstrate kindness and understanding.

My Grandmas had a lovely festive and birthday period with one member of staff painting her nails and cutting her hair ready to look glam for Christmas. It's always a lovely warm welcome and they even did her a cake again for her birthday this year.

I always get a warm welcome whenever I come to visit my granny, she is always clean and happy when i see her. She always says how nice and helpful everyone that works there is to her. I couldn't be more happy with the standards they have for not only my granny but for us visiting too! Can't thank everyone

My mum has been at The Homestead since February 2024 where she has gone from bedbound at home, refusing to eat, drink and interact, to someone who is sitting with the other residents, eating, drinking and interacting. Overall Experience

I visited my aunt whilst on holiday from Australia. I found the home to be basic and needs a good refurb. Staff seemed nice although I do think they should check on the residents more regularly in the lounge areas. Food very poor. I did think staff in the activity room were very friendly, it looked

a great fun room but in my opinion, needs to be a lot bigger.

The home is, as you say, due for a refurbishment and we are shortly going to be commencing a programme of painting and decorating throughout the home with all carpets being replaced too. Mum has been here since the middle of February, and we have been very happy with her stay here so far. She feels at home and safe. All the staff including carers, nurses, and housekeepers are very helpful and polite at all times. If any problems need sorting you only have to ask somebody and its seen

too asap. Mum also is very happy with the meals that are provided daily (a good and different option easy day).

Overall Experience

Sadly it was not a fit environment for an elderly person who is deaf but has complete mental capacity. No encouragement to live life however long or short that may be. My relative has complex health needs to prolong his life but the whole place seems to be about running people down to die. Something

the staff probably deal with daily and becomes just part of the job.

I have found this home to be exceptional and all visitors to see my mother have been impressed with this establishment and more importantly the staff. The staff are particularly caring and can only think that the recruitment and retention is high on the management agenda to maintain these standards.
