All members of staff have made a big impression on my father. Everyone is polite and efficient. The nursing is first class and my father gets tended too quickly whenever required. All his appointments are very well managed.

A MASSIVE THANK YOU to all the staff at Hall Grange Shirley Church Rd Croydon...... From start to finish all the staff were so helpful to me . As I am new to this looking after my mum ...manageress showed us around and made us so welcome and able to bring mum back for her assessment. The carers help
me fill in forms and mum able to check out room too. She sat in there with my daughter and had a cuppa. Mum was not willing to stay but after the 1st day she was settled. Great team work from the team... mum would laugh about with them and was a joy to see her so happy They were a dream team and work together so well . Other teams were also lovely . But forgot their names . Mum was only going to stay 1 week and stayed 4 weeks . I'm so happy we choice for her to stay while we were doing work on her bedroom .she just couldn't cope with the workmen and dusty house .
I will definitely be booking mum in when we have our summer holiday . Peace of mind that she is happy too

Reply from Abi Williams, Home Manager at Hall Grange

Thank you so much for your lovely message. We're so pleased to hear that your mum felt happy and settled with us. It truly means a lot to the whole team.

Bradbury Grange

from S N (Son of Resident) published on 15 April 2025
Overall Experience  Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5

Cannot fault the care, staff that my mother receives
All the staff that my wife and I have contact with are professional, friendly and sympathetic to my mother's needs.
This is across all the team from management to the the carers and domestic staff
The laundry team do a great job, returning the
clothes quickly and very clean.
The carers take time to talk to my mother who can get a little upset sometimes.
They quickly jump on any health issues and listen to our concerns if we have any.
The catering is very good and needs to be commended
We can approach senior staff if we need to but seeing them nearly every time we visit puts our minds at rest that mum is being well looked after.
She insists on regular visits to the hairdresser, and why not.
The atmosphere is first class and we are encouraged to take our dogs into the home and the team appear to enjoy this more than our dogs
Overall we are happy and believe we have a super relationship with everyone there

I cannot express our thanks and gratefulness to each and every member of MHA The Homestead, Carterton. The most professional, caring, hardworking team who prioritise the health and happiness of every resident. Mum's carers treat her with respect and love and we are so lucky to have had Mum accepted

Ryelands

from K H (Daughter of Resident) published on 10 April 2025
Overall Experience  Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5

It is with peace of mind for me as a service user's close blood relative that they are being cared for by moral, compassionate, people with the patience of saints! :) The staff are also very co-operative and attentive to all the residents' visitors especially the close relatives. The resident's meetings,
with minutes taken for the record, and these sent to their email inboxes by request is also a reassurance. The optional, non-obligatory church services coming to and being conducted in the home are also a blessing (excuse the pun) as most of the residents would not be able to go out to church anymore. That you let the resident's relatives and friends and visitors join in is excellent, and the same goes for other activities, e.g. the exercise clases which then of course encourages the residents to want to participate a bit more. The gardens are kept beautiful, and even if the resident is only able to look out of the window, these add to the enhancement of life at Ryelands.

Reply from Solomon-Paul Ekuase, Home Manager at Ryelands

Many thanks for your review of Ryelands, and I appreciate all the beautiful comments. I can reassure you that we will continue to ensure the wellbeing of the residents at Ryelands so that we can continue to meet our mission statement of enabling people to live later life well.

Brookfield Care Home

Overall Experience  Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5

My Dad has been at Brookfield Care Home for the last 6 months in the dementia floor upstairs. We honestly couldn't be happier with his care. Every member of staff has been kind and attentive (with Dad and us), and they keep us fully informed and updated. The food is excellent and Dad is eating well,
the whole place is very clean. Dad needs a high level of nursing care and many other Homes couldn't accommodate his needs. We are so very grateful to Brookfield for taking Dad's care on and for the unlimited kindness and patience they show to him. I hope this review can convey just a small amount of the enormous gratitude we have for Brookfield and every member of their team. THANK YOU.
