My husband was put in Everdale Grange to get him mobile, possibly, after a hip operations.This was arranged for us.As he is non compliant most of the time he isn't moving forward much. I and his children are pleased with the care he is getting. All 3 of us would be pleased if he stays there. I did want
him to return home but its too early to make that decision. I don't know if its "value for money" as we are not paying at the moment.

My uncle was moved from hospital to Langdale House for end of life care in mid-October. From the moment he arrived, the staff made sure that he was comfortable and was given individualised care. I was also supported by the staff from his admission to his passing in mid-November. Nothing was too much
for the staff. Advice and support plus a shoulder to literally cry on was there in spades.
I can not fault the home at all and I have seen and visited many homes as a retired NHS Clinical Specialist Nurse in Dementia care. I would recommend the home to anyone who wishes their family member or friend to have the best person-centred care. Thank you again to all the staff.

I believe that Eden Holme Care is the best place locally for my husband because: 1) My husband is deaf and blind with Alzheimer's and other medical conditions. He has been rejected by several care homes because they could not cope with his needs. Eden Holme is taking good care of him.
2) All staff,
from the Manager to nursing and care staff, chefs and cleaners, are all focused on the residents' wellbeing alerting co-workers electronically and verbally of any needing attention. The carers find time to speak kindly to the residents and pacify those who are distressed.
3)The meals cooked in their kitchen are much better than hospital fare and cater for the needs of residents with eating and swallowing problems.
4) The 1:1 supported activities in Eden Holme are stretching him mentally and physically as I have seen on their videos. The activities team do their best to keep residents entertained and stimulated.
5) Registered nurses provide feedback.
6) Good value for money.

Mum has been in Sutton in the Elmes Care Home now for nearly six months. She settled in extremely quickly and I must thank all the staff and management for making this possible. All the staff are so kind and make Mum feel happy and secure and to me, this is everything as I can trust Mum is in the best
hands we could wish for.
Her room is spotless and if anything is required the staff are quick to address.
Her well-being is constantly monitored and I receive regular feedback which is also so reassuring.
I am so pleased to have found Sutton Elms and would like to give a very big thank you to the staff and management for my mum's care.

My uncle arrived at Langdale Sapcote in February 2021, at first he was very unsettled but the team soon helped him settle in and now he sees it as his home. The staff go above and beyond in their help and assistance to him and us as a family. We are kept up to date on everything concerning my uncle
and visit weekly and are always met with smiling caring faces. We can't express our love and thanks to everyone there and one lady who makes a lovely cup of coffee!

Dad was very well looked after and he wasn't an easy man to please! The nurses, in particular, took time to get to know him, and the carers catered for all his needs and requests - such a constant supply of cold milk. He was treated with the utmost dignity, and they did everything to make his passing
comfortable, such compassion shown by the nurses and manager to my sister and me too - on what was a traumatic day for us - thank you.

This care home is warm and welcoming, the staff are smiley and friendly, they engage with the residents well.
The lady I visit feels happy and comfortable with the carers. The home is clean, and tidy and smells nice, the food looks good. She is cared for well here.

My father has been in Langdale House for almost two years now. During this time we have found the care to be excellent. The staff are cheerful, helpful and really connect with the residents. As a very reluctant resident to begin with, Dad feels very much at home now. The food is homemade and very good.
The nurses, carers and management are very caring and professional at the same time. The activities are imaginative and engaging with wonderful musical guests. Thank you for such a caring family atmosphere and home.

I feel this nursing home is the best - I feel my friend will be looked after more like royalty. The staff are so caring and considerate they are all guardian angels and you don't see that in all nursing homes. I feel if you get a nice one you don't have to worry half as much as you would be feeling
useless with their care. May I congratulate all the staff for their hands-on team - at home and for making visiting my friend very easy for me that doesn't happen a lot in my experience. I salute them all.

The staff at the home continue to amaze me. Caring and thoughtful. When I visit I'm made to feel so welcome.

Excellent care both mum and dad are residents and the care and thoughtfulness is amazing. They cannot do enough for both of them. Mum came in for end-of-life and within a week she showed improvement compared to when she was in the hospital.

My dad has been living at Sutton in the Elms Care Home for nearly two years. Mum and I found the family meeting organised by the home so useful - it was a great opportunity to find out more about the processes and practices at the home, and how dad is cared for. It was also a chance to meet other families
and share experiences, which helped enormously, as it can be very isolating having a loved one in care. I think these family meetings are a great initiative and will be coming to them regularly from now on.

When my mother first moved into Sutton In The Elms she was in a pretty bad way. She settled in and due to the care of the manager and the team, is thriving. Always smiling, happy and content. She gets her hair and nails done, is always clean and her spark and character are back. I regularly join her
and her fellow residents for lunch and am always made to feel welcome. Knowing Mum is safe and looked after is great for her but also for us, her family and friends. The peace of mind is fantastic. Thank you!
