I can't say enough nice things about this home and particularly the management. They are the loveliest staff team you could ever meet. My aunt and I have been visiting my uncle in the home for over 18 months now and we now feel like family. The home manager is amazing shes so professional but so fair
and robust in her approach, she will have your back when needed. The rest of the staff from the care team, the cleaners, and everyone are so friendly and approachable. My uncles care is second to none, yes there's been a few small issues but once you raise them they are dealt with straight away if you go to the right people. Overall im so glad my we chose this home for my uncle.

Having to place my dad in residential care following a long stay in hospital, was a daunting prospect. With help and assistance we were introduced to Heartlands.
Although, out of the areas choice, my dad was lucky enough to get a placement here.
I have seen and been to many care homes, but none
come near to Heartlands care provision staff team and general ambience of the environment. It is top class and is a place I would live in. You have to see it to believe it. Thank you so much.

This has been our first experience of using a care home and my goodness we have been so very impressed. All the staff from the cheerful housekeepers all the way through to the professional yet approachable managers, have made everyday a pleasurable and happy experience. The staff's attentiveness is
admirable. The surroundings are beautiful and my father's room suits his every need and the meals are delicious and beautifully served.

This is my Dad's second visit to Shenstone Court Care Home. It's a lovely home, modern, clean and the staff are approachable, friendly, attentive and very caring. The food is varied and excellent. Visitors are treated great and can visit anytime all week. We have enjoyed some meals with Dad which makes
for a great visit. Other clients are friendly and love it when we take the great grandchildren and our dog to visit. I recommend having a look and considering Shenstone home. My dad is looked after, happy and safe. The family are very happy to have found such a great place.

My father-in-law as been in Heartlands Nursing Home for a good few months, he is well cared for and the staff are very caring and reassuring, previous to this time his wife was in there only very short time but same again. Very good care by carer's and senior care to even housekeepers to everyone. Even
gone above and beyond video calling his son in Australia for him to talk to. This home is excellent.

Again, this care home has shown such dedication and support not just to its residents, but to the relatives too.
Communication is key at Shenstone Court, keeping relatives informed of any issues that may have occurred so that relatives still feel involved in the care and decision-making of their loved
ones.
Residents are taken on visits by minibus weekly; even if only one or two residents are going. I'm sure it can be soul-destroying for staff when they have tried so hard to encourage and get residents ready, only for the resident to change their minds but they do it with a smile.
Throughout the year, the home has decorated the reception area for Halloween, and Alzheimer's Day. Even decorated my mom's zimmer frame with a purple ribbon which was just so lovely and inclusive. I could write something every month, to be honest about this amazing care home. If you're looking for a special home to look after your relative, I would totally recommend Shenstone Care Home. Well done everybody!

Mum was safely cared for which enabled me to enjoy my holiday without worry for her wellbeing. She was treated with respect and humour and always seen as an individual with her own interests, likes and dislikes.
Oh, yes and they made a great cup of tea!

Heartlands Care Home was our family's 1st experience of care homes and was recommended by a friend whose mom had been there, my father in law was in there for a short time before he passed and I honestly can't praise the staff enough, he said every day how lovely everyone was, one nurse referred to
him as "Dad" they loved listening to his life stories and as an ex-police officer in Birmingham he had a few, he loved the ladies and they loved him and we will be forever grateful they made sure he had as good end of life as possible.
We put our uncle into the care home as well due to his deteriorating health at the age of 94, our previous experience with the home told us it was the right place for him to end his days, he was blind and living alone up to this point, and had starting falling at home, he couldn't see but could hear and his mind was perfectly sharp, he told us on day 2 he felt better enough to know he'd done the right thing, which is all we could've asked for, sadly our uncle passed away shortly after his 95th birthday, we are just sad he didn't ask to be moved sooner so he could've enjoyed Heartlands care home for longer.

Our mother became a resident at Heartlands when her vascular dementia reached the stage where she was unable to live independently.
We found Heartlands to be caring, friendly and with first-class facilities. All residents are made to feel special, important and involved. When the time sadly came for
end-of-life care, care staff kept up fully informed and cared for Mum with invaluable kindness and sensitivity, ensuring her comfort and dignity at all times.

My mum came to Shenstone Court in August after a stay in hospital. Mum has Pulmonary Fibrosis so she is on permanent oxygen. The stay was an initial 2-week respite stay but Mum very quickly felt at home and realised the level of care she now requires. We cannot praise the care highly enough- truly superb.
The carers have all made such huge efforts to welcome Mum, care for her needs both emotionally and physically, and get to know her on a personal level. This is so important to Mum. They chat with her and share their own lives and experiences and Mum loves this. She has got to know them all and adores every single one. Her bedroom is so well equipped and beautifully furnished. They care and attend to everything. Food is amazing- Mum had lost her appetite due to her illness and the breadth and variety of options have reignited her enjoyment in eating. The carers eat alongside their residents, encouraging them to eat in the dining room whenever they can. Excellent in every way.

The sink in the en-suite shower room blocked up for well over a month and is still not fixed! Not allowed small fridge in room, so food and fruit often goes off and gets mouldy. Clothes go missing when given in for washing, so have to hand wash in the room. No translators are available to communicate
with staff. Personal belongings go missing from the room. Do not cater for food I would like to eat.

I have always been happy with the care given in the home and all staff that have worked there and with my mother, from her time going into the care home in 2018. I was also very satisfied and grateful with the teams involved with my mother when the tragic death of my husband in 2022, which made visits
to see her more difficult. They all made sure Mom was OK and had personal items she needed due to me not being able to go.
