Overall Experience  Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5

On arrival I found the facilities to be welcoming and secure. My daughter (who has extensive knowledge of care home through her work in social care) said it was one of the nicest homes she had visited. Every time I have visited the staff have always been attentive and knowledgeable in the caring for
my brother in laws needs. He is happy and thinks the staff are wonderful.

Reply from Helen Dearing, On behalf of the team at Isis House Care Centre

Thank you so much for your kind words. We are really grateful for the extremely positive feedback of our home, team and care. That's a real accolade from your daughter, please pass on our thanks to her too. If there is anything further we can do for your brother-in-law, please let us know and we'd be happy to help.

Generally very happy with the care my uncle has been given at Chiltern Court. Both care staff and carers have been excellent, cannot fault their dedication. The home as a whole is clean, bright and homely. Entertainment seems good although my uncle is bedridden so N/A to us. The only complaint is that
the quality of the food has been commented on often by my uncle and admittedly we did have a meal there once and it was not good. Quantity and quality of ingredients not an issue - just not appetizing.

Reply from Helen Dearing, On behalf of the team at Chilterns Court Care Centre

Thank you so much for your review, we really appreciate it. It is a pleasure caring for your uncle. thank you for your feedback about the food, I have sent this to the Home Manager, and she will manage this. I will also ask her to speak with you next time you or your family visit. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention. If there is anything else we can do for your uncle, please let us know.

Review of

Grace Care Centre

from Richard W (Son of Resident) published on 11 March 2025
Overall Experience  Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5

My mother moved into Grace Care a year ago. Despite having difficulty speaking I know that she was very happy and content at the care home. All of the staff treated her with great kindness and respect at all times. The medical care she received was excellent. All of the services provided such as food, laundry
and activities were excellent. The room was very comfortable and was always kept very clean by the staff. When mum fell ill at the end of January the care and kindness she received from all of the staff was excellent and it was a great comfort to me at a difficult time. Whenever I visited the staff were always extremely friendly and supportive and it made life easier for me to know she was being well looked after.
Having had no contact with the care system previously it was a great relief and comfort to me that Grace Care looked after mum in such a kind and caring manner.

Jubilee Lodge provided excellent care from a lovely team of carers and staff. As a family, we couldn't have chosen a better place for my mum to have some respite. Always helpful and very kind carers and Mum said the food was excellent! Thank you all very much.

Mum loves it and everyone at Larkrise, shes been there a long time now (but thinks its only about 3 weeks bless her!) but yes, everyone loves her (shes no trouble) and we as a family, love everyone there too. Nothing is no trouble, always friendly, always there to advise and talk over troubles (which
there are none!) but always available to talk to and very very friendly. We're so very grateful to them for looking after out mum, a great choice taken all those years ago - Thanks a million x

Hayward Care Centre

My husband enjoyed his stay at Hayward care home and was very well looked after.
He cannot remember any details hence the need for me to complete this form.
He has no idea that he was with you for three weeks but it meant that I could visit a sick friend in New Zealand without worrying about him.
Thank you.

Mu husband could not be in a better home. All the staff are so caring and treat him with respect.
He is well looked after, the food is amazing and always delicious. If I ever get to the point of needing to go into care, this would be my first choice.

Since being at Coombe End Court (10/22) my mum has thrived in every way, physically and emotionally. She is always beautifully dressed, clean and happy. The care staff are amazing, addressing her every need with kindness and compassion. The range of activities provided by the staff are mentally stimulating,
catering for all needs (mum particularly enjoys the animals and music) The food is of a high standard and wholesome and mum has gained in weight since being here.

The staff are always polite and courteous when we go to visit. Nothing appears to be too much trouble and any questions asked are either replied to or passed on to another member of the team to deal with. My mum has only been at Watersmead for 8 months so I can only review what I know in this short
period.
