Overall Experience  Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5

My mum in law has settled in well. She joined Horsefair in November 2024 and loves it. Within the first few days she said she wanted to stay. She joins in with most of the activities and loves chatting over tea with the other residents. All the staff are fantastic and nothing is any trouble and they
all greet her with a cheerful hello.

Loxley Park - Avery Healthcare

from D H (Son of Resident) published on 27 March 2025
Overall Experience  Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5

What can I say about Loxley Park. The place is truly amazing! My mum has lived there for the past 18 me maths and in that time, the care and attention from all the staff has been absolutely brilliant! I can feel sorry confident that she is well cared for and always safe no matter what! The activities
allow her to still enjoy life even with her disabilities! My recommendation is that if I could afford to live there I would!!

Its so great to see my mother in law in a safe environment. The staff are exceptional. They have made us all feel that the decision to put mum into care has been the best decision for her health and wellbeing. Clayton Manor have made my mother in law and the family feel well looked after. There are
always plenty of staff about to help my mother in law and answer any of the families questions. My mother in law is enjoying the activites that happen each day. We were all suprised when she settled in so quickly. The staff made Clayton Manor special.

Afternoon tea on St Valentines Day. The room and tables were prettily decorated following a St Valentine theme. As usually, the staff were kind, patient, attentive & obliging. They fostered a comfortable, relaxed & happy atmosphere in which lovely finger food & endless tea was enjoyed, always going
the extra mile to ensure residents & their visitors were entertained. A very pleasant event!

We visited our auntie yesterday and what a beautiful place. Very friendly and helpful staff, bright and cheery and it felt so welcoming. Our auntie's room was lovely, everything was clean and everywhere we went was spotless. All the residents we met seemed very happy and very well cared for. Our auntie
had a short stay (10 days) and she seemed very settled and comfortable. A wonderful place, thank you for looking after her so well.

The minute we walked in our family was welcomed all the staff we were introduced to were very friendly and professional. They understood that the decision to move mum to a care home was difficult. Mum has now been at Clayton Manor for 6 weeks and has settled very well. She appreciates being cared for
and is enjoying the attention she gets from all the staff. We thought she had forgotten how to smile, so its great to see her happy again. Mum is definitely thriving and we all appreciate the empathy, care and fun she is having from the team.

Generally very pleased with the facility.
Staff are genuinely caring. And try really hard to navigate difficult situations.
Love all of the activities that are on offer. Food seems a little boring for vegetarians. WiFi could be better.
Only niggle is that some carers seem to infantilise conversations
which results the care user feeling patronised.

Reply from Paul Botham, Manager at Hinckley House Care Home - Avery Healthcare

Many thanks for your valued feedback, I will speak to chef about different vegetarian options however there are already lots of choices available, in regards to the WIFI this has recently been checked and is up to the maximum it can reach, I will be bringing up your comment about the carers and the way they come across in a staff meeting. Regards

Hempstalls Hall Care Home - Avery Healthcare

from Dominic A (Son of Resident) published on 26 March 2025

My dad has been in Hempstalls Hall for over two years now and we visit him often. I want to say how welcome we feel whenever we go in. We are invited to join in all events and activities and given wonderful refreshments. This week we tried Mexican food for Mexico Day and there are always beautiful cakes
available made in house by the great chefs. It's great to be able to share these fun times with my dad. The home always looks spotless and smells lovely, with fresh flowers on Reception. it's like a boutique hotel!
My dad originally wanted to try the home as he was lonely living on his own, and he always says "I couldn't be in a better place." he feels safe and cared for at all times. He's had a few health problems due to his age and the response of the staff, getting doctors and paramedics to him and checking on him at all times have been brilliant. They keep us informed at all times. Dad is so happy and we couldn't be more grateful for the amazing care he gets at Hempstalls Hall.

Friendly, clean, homely, communal. Visited my grandma today and helped them with dinner. Food was nice too. The staff couldn't help more, they even have little jokes with the residents. Entertainment is good too, lots of variety.

Hinckley House has the most dedicated friendly and caring staff that you could wish for. They gave me lots of support too. Could not have wished for a better environment with lots of activities, excellent food and welcoming attitude towards visitors.
Lots of long term staff and beautiful surroundings
overlooking the park and school with plenty of activities to observe on a daily basis.
A wonderful place.

Staff are friendly, good facilities, lots of activities that residents are able to join in. The rooms are spacious and the home is homely and welcoming. Staff are kind and caring and take care of the patients, both physically and mentally through good sense of humours and general chit chat to ensure
patients are happy. Food is great, especially cake!

Seagrave House Care Home - Avery Healthcare

from Tracy D (Daughter of Resident) published on 26 March 2025
Overall Experience  Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5

Our mum moved here in January 2023 after a stroke and nasty fall at home knocked her confidence. We considered a few homes and visited another but the moment we entered Seagrave and she met and spoke with a few of the staff and residents she knew this was where she wanted to be.
The first few months
were incredibly difficult due to a few health set backs including a few awful times in Kettering General Hospital when she came out a complete mess and it was the wonderful team at Seagrave that pulled her together again.
In the early days her personality changed so much that we struggled to cope and the team held our hands every step. It took a while but the staff are so patient and she eventually settled down and returned to being our lovely mum again.
There's a few activities that go on but mum's not really a joiner preferring her books, although the carpet bowls and anything musical usually draw her in.
It's absolutely the staff that make Seagrave the lovely place it is.

Wandsworth Common Care Home - Avery Collection

from Elizabeth T (Daughter of Resident) published on 25 March 2025
Overall Experience  Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5

I cannot recommend Avery enough. My 87 year old father stayed for a month's respite care and had a wonderful experience. The home feels like a 5 star hotel and is very clean and luxurious. The staff are incredibly warm, welcoming and kind - 'nothing is too much trouble for them'' as Dad said. Everyone
greeted him by name and took the time to chat to him when they passed.

Everyday there is something different and stimulating for the residents to do. As a relative, every visit was a lovely, rewarding experience.
