My father has been in since September 2024, he made my day when he told me he was happy and comfortable this is down to all the staff. They keep me informed of any changes, hospital appointments and doctors appointments. He loves the home cooked fresh food. He loves to sing and the staff encourage him
plenty, I have found no matter who I speak to staff wise they are always happy to help, whether it be dad or me.

My Mum has been a resident at Royley House for only a short time but already she refers to it as her 'home' which is lovely to hear. Mum was very delusional and depressed when she moved in and as a family we were at crisis point. RH provide a loving and stimulating environment with lots of activities
both in the home and outside on outings. The staff are all absolutely lovely and we couldn't have chosen a better place for Mum to be. I now have some of my Mum back and know that she is safe and secure in a lovely environment.

I just had to write this review my mother came to Pendle Brook (25/11/24), it has been marvelous the care is second to none, the feeling of nothing is too much trouble, I know and now feel settled and not worried as my mum is safe and truly cared for. On an occasion last week Sunday, my husband and
I saw a care member of staff taking a tray of crisps, biscuits into the lounge area for residents, how lovely treats in an afternoon watching television. Just like we do at home, the activities every week, marvelous, the social media page, brilliant, please pass this to the bosses. Thank you.

I have been volunteering on a weekly basis at Pendle Brook Care Home on a Tuesday since mid November 2024, and it is now my favourite day of the week!
It really is 5* in every capacity, staff, service users, the care, compassion, communication, cleanliness, activities, outings, food and hospitality,
are just exceptional in every way.
I am always made to feel very welcome and the integration with the residents is second to none.
Love this place!

My dad has been a resident at Royley House since November 2022. Since then the home has improved significantly, especially since the new manager took over.
The new manager ensures that the residents get the absolute best care possible. She listens and responds to feedback and acts quickly to improve
things when required.
In my experience, the staff have always been friendly, approachable, and welcoming. Their interactions with the residents have always been exceptional, even when the residents, like my dad, can be difficult at times to manage.
Thank you to all the staff for the care, patience, and kindness that you show to my dad!

As a newish resident, my mum has struggled with the change having been so independent all of her life. Mum's feelings of having lost her independence are difficult to deal with and although the carers do their very best, Mum can be challenging like most dementia patients in their 90th years I'm sure.
The staff are lovely although there seems to have been a high turn over over the last 8/9 months which isn't helpful. The quality of care and kindness from all staff is truly appreciated. Mum's needs have been continually assessed and her care plan tweaked accordingly to make it right for her and us. Staff have been incredibly supportive of me as a daughter. Truly grateful. Thank you.

I want to thank the manager and her staff for all they do for my father-in-law. They're always friendly and have a smile for everyone. I receive phone calls with updates and any appointments that come through.
The home is bright, modern, and clean. My father-in-law enjoys the freshly cooked food.
I especially love to see photos of my father-in-law partaking in activities at the home or having time out - to the local pub or off out on a day trip.
Thank you for all you do.

Mum has been a resident at Royley House since December 24. As a family, we are very appreciative of the care and attention Mum has received since being there. The staff genuinely care and are more than willing to go the extra mile. The management are always ready to listen and help not only the resident
but the family too.
It is always a difficult decision to make when you realise help is needed. Royley House made the transition as easy as possible, supporting us all as much as possible.
Thank you, everyone working there, your care is very much appreciated!

My dad stayed with you. He received excellent treatment from the minute he went through the doors. You went above and beyond to make his stay with you a happy one. The care he was given was second to none. Everyone went that extra mile for him making him as comfortable as possible and making him feel
safe. The accommodation is very nice and you can make it your own. The staff have lots of activities which you can join in if you choose. He was well cared for and happy. They looked after him and the rest of the family when he passed away I can't
thank them enough.

My Mum has dementia and has been a resident at Royley House for approximately 2 years. We could not wish for a better place for Mum. Mum is a sociable person & enjoys company, RH provides stimulation through various activities and social occasions. The staff are friendly, very attentive, and genuinely
care for residents. They take care of Mum's everyday needs and personal care as well as keeping her entertained with activities, dancing or just chatting to her - she loves them. The place is kept clean and does not have that 'Care Home' smell that some others do. The food is all cooked on-site and is of an exceptional standard with plenty of variety - the daily menus are displayed. Overall I would not hesitate in recommending this facility for a loved one.

Royley House has looked after my dad for the last 18 months. The staff have so much time for my dad who is looked after with love & care. The home puts on activities which Dad sometimes joins in especially if it involves dancing. I am kept up to date with Dad's hospital appointments & the results. Nothing
but praise for the staff & how the home is run.

All the staff are approachable and caring, they seem genuinely interested in the residents. I can tell Mum feels safe and enjoys the interaction with the staff. So nice to see the residents occupied with activities and not stuck in front of a television. The cleanliness, laundry, and catering are also
to an excellent standard, Mum loves the food and it always looks delicious. Her room always looks clean and tidy and her clothes and bedding are fresh and put away. Any issues or queries that I've had have always been resolved quickly. The conservatory has been a great addition and it's lovely to see the activities posted on the social media page.
