My Mum who has Alzheimer's was admitted to Victoria Court for 3 weeks respite care. From the moment I visited Victoria Court, I knew it was the right place for Mum. Both the manager and deputy manager took time to reassure me they would look after Mum and I haven't been disappointed. The staff at Victoria
Court are always cheerful, friendly, helpful and reassuring. They work hard to encourage and support Mum helping her to maintain her independence and dignity - showing her respect at all times. The care given at Victoria Court is clearly sympathetically structured to meet the needs of its clients, from the variety of activities provided to 'snack stations' and calling rooms flats. Needless to say Mum will continue her care at Victoria Court!

Heather Vale Care Home, is a lovely place to visit and stay. There is always a warm welcome from the staff, who take time to chat with visitors and residents. My dad has been living here for a few months and it is so reassuring to see that he is well looked after and safe. He has a lovely room overlooking
the garden and enjoys the activities that take place at the home. There is always an activity in the home or a visiting entertainer, with live music.

The management staff are very approachable and I'm confident that they would deal with any issues, if I brought them up. Every month the staff check in with me and my dad to see how things are going. All in all, Heather Vale is a caring, welcoming and happy place with wonderful and hard working staff.

I am extremely happy with Heather Vale, the staff are very friendly and can not do enough for you. They have regular chats with me about Mum's care and if there are any issues (which is not often) they are dealt with. I feel confident to approach the Home Manager with anything, she and the office staff
are always willing to listen and help.
Overall my Mum has thrived in the Home, she interacts more with people, she loves the staff who are very patient, kind, caring and gentle with her. She has put weight on since she's been there, which she needed to do, and the Activities lady is brilliant getting the residents involved in different activities which keeps their minds and bodies active.
Thank you to everyone there. I do highly recommend you to anyone who asks me about Heather Vale and the environment there. You are all doing a fantastic job and I feel happy and relaxed knowing my Mum is being taken care off by you all. I cannot express my gratitude enough.

Heather Vale is a lovely place to stay and visit.
Mum's room is light and roomy and able to have her own things around. Ensuite facilities were a very important factor when we were looking for long term care.
Staff are great. Kind and helpful.
The building is light and fresh and easy access for
all aids.
Activities in the lounge are accessible for all and are very good. The activities coordinator is excellent. Lovely gardens. Home to 2 ducks who waddle about and are well looked after.
The home is managed well. All the staff are very approachable.
Domestic, laundry, catering, all happy to help.
The maintenance man also very accommodating.
Choosing care can be a minefield of emotions.
To have some background is helpful.
Mum and I are very pleased with our choice.

My mother lived at Heather Vale for five months. At 96 she had a number of complex needs including Vascular Dementia. The staff at Heather Vale provided excellent care for mum. They really looked after her and in many ways became her family. Their support in issuing medicines and prompt action in involving
wider medical services was excellent. Mum was particularly prone to falls and the staff supported her superbly, looking in on her every 30 minutes to ensure her safety. Mum was always made to feel welcome. I am particularly keen to stress the support given to my wife and I as mum neared the end of her life. Nothing appeared to be too much trouble and I know that a number of staff went that extra mile to ensure mum's comfort and welfare.

First visit to see our sister-in-law. The staff and management are excellent. The food looked very tasty. Didn't see rooms or talk about activities so can't comment. Overall looks like an excellent home with very caring staff.

My wife is a full-time resident at the Landemere.
She is very happy and settled in a caring and loving environment.
The management and staff are friendly, helpful and responsive and they maintain a homely atmosphere throughout the home.
They do their best to provide varied entertainment and crafts
for the residents and also include their visitors when suitable.
My wife has been a resident in the Landemere for six years and I can honestly say that I have never regretted her being there and I have always thought of my visits to see her and all the staff as a pleasure.
Highly recommended.

I have been living here for nineteen months now and I am very happy. The carers are very caring and kind. I have a lovely room with an en-suite, it's like a little bedsit. There is also a big lounge where we can chat or watch television and have activities.

On the whole, we are very pleased with the spirit with which the staff are taking care of my mum. The staff are very pleasant and caring. They provided an English-Ukrainian dictionary to facilitate communication. They provided flashcards in her language and got 10 books in her language from the library.
She also has a TV with her favourite comedy. We are absolutely impressed with the level of cleanliness of the facility. We are very thankful and pray that God will bless all staff with the desires of their hearts.

I'm very happy with the environment, care and support my dad gets at Heather Vale. The staff are friendly, caring, supportive, respectful and dedicated. My dad is happy and settled. I can see that the lounge activities are varied and good even though my dad prefers his own company and television. Residents
choices are respected in the home. The environment is light and welcoming and well maintained. I would be happy to stay here myself if I had the need.

After a difficult time for my aunties and uncle with various health issues, they moved together into Heather Vale.
The home is lovely, well-decorated and maintained
The lounge area is great and leads out to a nice garden.
The staff are wonderful. They are very caring and considerate and keep me
informed if there are any issues to be aware of.
It is such a relief to know that they are safe and well and that all their needs are being met.
Couldn't ask for more.

I feel such relief knowing my mum is cared for and safe in the care home. I am able to discuss Mum's care with all staff who are very helpful with nothing being too much trouble for them.
I would also like to mention how all staff/managers made Mum's birthday special with banners, balloons and a cake,
such a kind thought.
Thank you all very much.
