We are really pleased with the care given to my mother. She is nearly 104 and has been at Beechfield for 5 years. The staff are, without exception, caring, positive and kind to her. We have never had any doubts about her care. Communication is excellent and we are always informed of any changes or incidents.
We feel she is safe and treated with great respect. We have also seen how other residents are treated and we are sometimes amazed at how patient and lovely the staff are. Thank you Beechfield.

Beechfield Lodge is a 5* care home. Our mum has been a resident for 2 years now, excellent care, staff are happy. Residents wishes are listened too. Fresh + bright, no disgusting smells like other homes we have visited. We, as a family are very satisfied.

My dad has recently come out of hospital and returned back to the home and this meant he had to move to a ground floor flat. The team at Beechfield were extremely accommodating with this and moved everything and made the flat look welcoming and homely, even putting his family pictures on the wall and
his personal ornaments where he could see them. My dad has returned with a deterioration in his mobility having to be hoisted and very much reliant on the team of lovely support workers for his care needs. Now this has been challenging as my Dad is a very proud man, set in his ways and not the easiest of patients especially accepting his new circumstances. With this said the team have maintained a constant communication with myself, outer agencies, processing referrals and most importantly looking after Dad treating him with dignity, respect, kindness, reassurance and a smile.

My mum's experience at Hatton Grange care home has been here 18 months now and we have not had a single complaint! It is a modern, clean and comfortable place with a really happy atmosphere. Most of the time my mum thinks she's on holiday so I couldn't ask for better than that.
All the staff are friendly,
happy and welcoming to both residents and visitors and this is what makes it a place where my mum wants to be and I like to visit.

My aunt has been a resident at Millfield for 2.5 years, she is very well cared for. The home has such a nice atmosphere which you feel as soon as you walk in. Visitors are welcomed, the staff are kind and cheerful. The facilities are excellent, the food looks wonderful. There is even an upstairs hair
salon, with a visiting hairdresser attending every week. My aunt has recently had a birthday and for the 2nd year running, the home arranged for a professional Elvis impersonator for my aunt and the other residents to enjoy. There is always a lovely cake for birthdays. When Millfield had first learned of my aunt's love for Elvis, they arranged a wonderful canvas picture of a young Elvis for my aunt to have on the wall of her room. It was a very kind and thoughtful gesture, entirely at their own initiative and expense. Millfield is really lovely home, we feel so fortunate that my aunt has a place there. The residents' best interests are at the heart of everything they do.

So far we are happy with the level of care my father has received and feel that he has settled in quite well.
We are pleased that the home offers a fair range of activities and entertainments.
Hopefully the carers are able to continue my father's exercises to help his movement, and also walking with
his frame when possible.

Myself and my sisters are very happy with Beechfield Lodge and all the staff.
My dad is very confused and all the staff are kind, polite and caring with him,
He says he is not happy with the food, but he looks well fed.
He enjoys going out on external activities and taking part in the home based
activities.

I was anxious about my mother going to respite, however the process involved was easy and a manager came to my mothers home to discuss her care needs.
On arrival the staff were friendly and helpful. Her room was pleasant and warm. All her clothes were washed and returned. The staff listened to me
and involved me in my mums care and seemed genuinely affectinate towards her.
When i visited she appeared happy and settled, she enjoyed the food and recieved drinks in between meals which was importent to her.
I have nothing negative to say and would be confident and happy to let me mum go back for further respite

My mum moved into Beechfield Lodge in March 2022. Sadly passed away January 2025.
This review covers the time mum stayed in Beechfield. Thank you to all the staff that looked after my mum (who had dementia) and made her feel at home and enjoyed the activities and friendship with all the staff.
Special
thanks to the manager and carers, two in particular, who were brilliant with mum upto her passing.

Mum was a resident at Millfield for 2 1/2 years. I really couldn't have placed her in better care. The staff were so caring and compassionate and acted in mums best interest every time. Mum came to regard the staff as her friends and part of her family.
Thank you so much to everyone at Millfield for
making her last years so enjoyable.

Beechfield Lodge is a modern purpose built care home with excellent facilities. Resident's rooms are spacious and most have a separate bath/showerroom and kitchen. The home is kept very clean and has a pleasant odour. Staff are professional and approachable. The carers treat the residents with kindness
and respect and the residents always appeared settled and happy. There are enclosed secure gardens for residents to enjoy. I cannot fault the home in any way. Thank you.
