Every time I visited mum in Augusta Court I knew I had made the right choice for her. The staff were always so friendly and kind, as well as respectful - and they were so good at keeping me informed. I cannot thank them enough for their care of mum... and the support they gave me.

My mother has been living at Augusta Court for two years now, having celebrated her second anniversary this Christmas of 2024. While her dementia has progressed and changed the way she spends her days, I am incredibly thankful for the attentive care she receives. The management team and all the care
staff go above and beyond to meet her needs, and the kitchen staff prepare wonderful meals with great care. The warm and inviting atmosphere at Augusta Court truly uplifts both residents and staff alike, who consistently display cheerfulness, professionalism, and genuine compassion. The food is not only delicious but also diverse, with fish and chips being a beloved weekly favorite among the residents. Occasionally, you might find them enjoying themselves in the lovely pub-inspired room, where they can gaze out at the beautiful garden view. I feel immense gratitude and joy for my mother's time at Augusta Court; she always greets me with a smile when I visit.

My father has been a resident at Augusta Court since late 2023. He suffers from advanced Alzheimer's Disease and his behaviour was quite challenging when he first moved in. The staff at Augusta Court have been exceptional, showing genuine affection and care for him. He is always immaculately turned
out, in clean clothes and beautifully groomed. Likewise, his room is kept very clean and is devoid of smells. Dad is encouraged to participate in the numerous activities that take place, which are adjusted to suit his declining abilities. The staff display a respectful and affectionate manner towards him, and they take the trouble to know his background and life history. I particularly like the warm and friendly atmosphere that pervades the whole home. The food is good without straying into the pretentious, and mealtimes have a lively feel to them. Augusta Court is like a large happy family and I am delighted that my father is here for the conclusion of his own life journey.

My mother-in-law was living here for a few years before she passed away. The care was second to none. They looked after her so well, she was able to continue to enjoy all the things she did before she became unwell, her music and mostly having fun. Thank you.

Our mother was a resident at Augusta Court for nearly 3 years, until she passed away in her sleep. She was very well cared for by the whole team who were always friendly and attentive towards her, responding well to any concerns.
The staff were always friendly towards us when visiting and any communication
via telephone or email was excellent. Thank you.
We would happily recommend Augusta Court, Chichester.

Our friend moved to Augusta Court over two years ago when she could no longer cope at home. She quickly became settled and happy and was very appreciative of the care and interest taken in her. The daily activities extended her interests and allowed her to integrate and become part of the family of
residents. She especially appreciated the visits from the local nursery school and the times of singing. As her needs increased the care team sensitively adjusted their help, always keeping me informed of any proposed changes and asking if I had any further requirements. During her last days, she was especially well looked after, being provided with a more suitable bed and more intensive care. I am so grateful we chose Augusta Court for our friend.

Senior management team led a small group Memorial Service for families to reflect and celebrate the lives of our loved ones in the care home before they passed away. Our relatives were remembered fondly by staff and those happy memories were presented as a permanent keepsake, together with a photo frame
of special pictures. This was such a special way to acknowledge the time spent in such a genuinely caring environment where all staff are dedicated to giving the best care they can. It also gave families a chance to convey our heartfelt thanks for making the final end dignified and respectful. Cannot say a big enough thank you, everyone.

Sadly my wife died 14 years ago, two years later I suffered two falls and was diagnosed as suffering from dementia. My doctor recommended treatment in a care home and two paramedic friends stated without reservation the 20 homes they dealt with. Augusta Court was 'top'. I have now spent 12 years here
and have been very satisfied with the devotion and personal care provided. What was especially notable was the never-ending care during the covid pandemic. I would have no hesitation in recommending Augusta Court.

My Uncle became a resident at Silver Court Care Home in February 2024, being 100 years old, always looked after himself, he adjusted quite quickly with the help of the staff. On November 7th his birthday now 101yrs. Silver Court made a room available for us as a family as some travelling long distance
to Celebrate his birthday. The family would like to express their appreciation for all the staff who made his birthday so special. They made sure we had everything we needed, decorated the room with banners and balloons, especially three showing 101. My Uncle has had much to say "It was better than his 100th". This is such a comfort knowing that my Uncle is safe and cared for.

Our family is currently incredibly disappointed with the continued failure of the care home to abide by the agreed care plan for our mother.
Staff repeatedly fail to fit hearing aids on a daily basis, leaving our mother struggling to hear.
Teeth are not cleaned and maintained on a daily basis.
A
doctor's appointment has been requested on multiple occasions, yet to be confirmed.
Her room often has an unpleasant smell.
Bins are frequently full of rubbish and dirty cups and dishes are left uncollected.
We are extremely concerned about the poor standards of communication from staff to management and the lack of feedback to the family.
Customer service standards and respectful conversion from staff to family are often questionable.
We expect things to improve.

Mum is very happy at Silver Court. She says the staff are very kind and she loves the food. She says we couldn't have chosen a better home for her! I have found the whole team to be very person-focused, ensuring resident's wishes are paramount. There is always a lot of laughter and you are always made
to feel very welcome when you arrive. Staff really know residents and are keen to keep you up to date with anecdotes and activities your loved one has been up to. When Mum has been unwell, the team has been quick to inform us of the situation and keep us up to date. I am so pleased we made the decision to bring Mum to Silver Court. From the moment she arrived, the team have gone out of their way to make her feel welcome and part of the family. I think we have been very lucky to find such an excellent home. Thank you, everybody, you are very much appreciated.

Silver Court

Our mum was admitted into Silver Court in July this year. We were concerned about how she would settle as she is 94 years old with worsening dementia.
We needn't have worried because the staff went out of their way to make sure Mum felt safe and cared for. They also looked after us, the extended family
as the move affected us too.
The effort the staff go to to ensure Mum and the other residents get the best out of each day is phenomenal.
We receive regular newsletters of the activities laid on, of the arranged visitors they organise to the home to make sure their days are varied.
We were offered two choices of placement for Mum. The first home we viewed traumatised us so much that I shall never forget it. With trepidation, we drove towards Silver Court and immediately knew Mum would be okay there. We stopped worrying immediately.
Thank you to all the staff, be it carers, catering staff, domestic staff and administrators, gardeners and maintenance staff for giving Mum a happy, safe home.

I can not recommend Silver Court highly enough. It is a real pleasure to be able to write this review, to reassure people considering placing loved ones here, that the team genuinely care about every single person, and goes out of its way every day, to make everyone smile and feel important.
My mum
recently went into hospital and when she returned, the team at Silver Court were there to welcome her back and worked day and night, to help her recover, both physically and emotionally. When I walk in each day, I am made to feel like I am part of the family, laughing with the team and sharing stories together with my mum. The team leaders and managers are outstanding. Always listen to feedback, always go out of their way to provide proactive updates on the care plan for my mum and nothing is ever too much trouble. Activities take place to provide music, singing, dancing, massage, exercise and wellbeing.
I can not thank everyone enough, from the heart. You are all incredible.

Living so far away from Mum, it's a relief knowing that she is happy and so well cared for at Augusta Court. Although I haven't been able to attend the care home yet, I only see and hear good things about it. Mum once told me if she'd known how nice a care home could be she would have moved out of her
house a lot sooner, instead of trying to maintain her independence, living alone. I also so appreciate how management and the staff maintain a regular social media presence. I wouldn't see my mum looking so happy, social, and well if it weren't for the regular photos and activities posted. I have nothing but praise, appreciation, and awe for the carers helping to make Augusta Court such a safe and friendly environment for our aged community. Thank you, Team.

My family member has been a resident at Augusta Court for the past 4 years. In that time she has been cared for in the most professional, sympathetic, and encouraging manner. She has enjoyed participating in all the varied activities and enjoyed the home-cooked meals, especially the different themed
events.
She has most definitely thrived while in their care. While she is sadly becoming more dependent on the care team, I could not be happier with the level of care she has received. I have the utmost confidence in the management of the home and more importantly, the individual care team who are, in my opinion, exceptional.
They keep me regularly updated with care reviews and are always available to answer any questions I may have.

I have found the staff at Silver Court very welcoming and friendly, always helpful and ready to discuss any concerns. They are kind and caring towards the residents in their care and remain calm and professional despite some of the challenges they face. Their strength is in their ability to work as
a team, particularly evident at the recent summer fete. It was well-organised and well-attended by staff, residents and their families alike. I am also thankful for the support given to me in what are very difficult times.
