Buckingham Lodge

from J W (Niece of Resident) published on 14 April 2025
Overall Experience  Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5

I cannot thank the staff and management enough for the care they show with my aunt since she came to Buckingham Lodge. At 98, it was a huge change for her and she has adapted so well and is happy that is down to the staff. I've seen a side of her that I didn't know existed, making gingerbread biscuits,
stroking snakes and snails, arm dancing to music all with a big smile. Thank you

Priors Hall

from L H (Daughter of Resident) published on 14 April 2025
Overall Experience  Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5

The care provided by Priors led by the manager and supported by another member of staff is professional, compassionate and knowledgeable. The support given to me with my Mum gives me confidence and comfort that she is being looked after as if she is their family. The manager has been instrumental in
keeping the Priors reputation strong and in the forefront within the Corby community. The management team work hard to include the local community where possible in events within the home which is one of the best adverts they can have. Mum is so well looked after by the team of carers - the manager sets high standards which they strive to achieve.

Overall Experience  Overall Experience 4.0 out of 5

Mum's been in Simon Marks for just over a year now she has settled there immediately and has been very happy the last year. Care and support and staff have been excellent, staff turnover has been frequent so sometimes impacts on care delivery as not familiar with residents but always obliging and friendly.
Management always friendly and helpful with any concerns or issues. As a family we have peace of mind mum is happy and well looked after.

My dad has settled nicely into Wynyard Woods Care Home. The staff are really caring and friendly. I consider them as my 2nd family, as I'm always here lol. We have all worked together, and Dad's medications are really helping him now, so his mood has lifted and he is starting to enjoy the simple things
in life, watching TV and talking to some of the residents.

Review of

Timken Grange

from A S (Daughter of Resident) published on 14 April 2025
Overall Experience  Overall Experience 3.0 out of 5

The home is very well kept and very clean, although a bit like a hotel, not very homely. The residents seem well cared for. Most staff are friendly and kind to the residents.. Lots of activities, however some are quite extravagant ignoring more basic, simpler ones. Nice south facing garden which
could be beautiful, but doesn't seem to get used much. Whilst my mum appears well cared for it's sad that the things she enjoyed most in life are not made available to her at Timken Grange although I have asked on many occasions. My mum is certainly being looked after well, but not sure she is really living. Whenever I visit the dementia floor everyone is just sitting, but I hoped for a little more from Timken Grange, whilst I am not unhappy with the care at the moment it feels expensive if mum is going to spend most of her time sitting on her own and not getting to enjoy the simple pleasures which have been important to her all her life.

Reply from Louise Mulvany, Manager at Timken Grange

Thank you for reviewing Timken Grange and we are pleased you rate our cleanliness as excellent. We're pleased that you feel your mum is well cared for and is being well looked after. Thank you for discussing your feedback with us. Our residents input into our activities programme to ensure group and individual pastimes are as everyone wishes.

Bilton Court

from Alex C (Daughter of Resident) published on 11 April 2025
Overall Experience  Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5

My dad has been at Bilton Court for over a year. He initially went there for respite as he was unwell and needed care. He recovered his health and decided to stay. He loves being cared for even more than he loved his independence and it leaves him with more energy for social activities. He still uses
a taxi to go out and meet friends and goes to his day care once a week as he loves to see his friends there too. He often expresses how safe he feels and that he has everything he could possibly want; good food, comfort and a beautiful view from his window. The carers even arranged an outing just for dad to one of his favourite places. He feels safe and valued. It is lovely to hear from him how happy he is. He is 95 years old and is receiving the best care he could have from a wonderful team. We are always made welcome when we visit. I would recommend this care home to anyone, so much so that at least one of dad's friends will join him here soon.

My step father in law due to his medical condition was admitted into Harden Hall and to be very honest we couldn't have wished for a better place for him to stay, such a lovely clean bright friendly place where all the staff take pride in there profession. The staff from day one make you feel as if
you have always known them which puts your mind at ease knowing that your loved one is in a safe place being locked after by people who take pride in what they do. Thank you all.

Very happy with the care mom is receiving at Harden Hall, all staff are friendly and caring. Her appetite has increased and she says the food is lovely.
We are kept up to date with her progress or any problems either by email of face to face.
It's a great relief for me and my family that mom is
being so very well looked after and would highly recommend Harden Hall.

From the first time we came to view Trinity it felt the right place for Mum to come to. She has been here since October and she has settled in really well. The staff are so good to everyone and make my mum's days pleasant. I can go home knowing she is well cared for, she is being fed, drinks, showered
and most of all safe. Thank you to the wonderful staff for looking after my mum, there is no better place for her.

Review of

Birkenhead Court

from Francis D (Husband of Resident) published on 11 April 2025
Overall Experience  Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5

My wife started suffering from dementia about 5 years ago and I had carers coming in 3 times a day but I could no longer cope so, reluctantly, the family took the decision to put her in Birkenhead Court last April (2024). You were recommended by a home care provider and the family GP. I am really delighted
with the home where she is treated with the utmost respect and has settled in well. I can now sleep at night knowing she is in good hands. I know it's experience but worth it for my peace of mind. Thank you so much.

This is the best place by far of all the homes we looked at. The mother-in-law seems very happy every time I come to visit. The staff and facilities are excellent and cater to everyone's needs. I would highly recommend Trinity Lodge and their number 1 care. Thank you.

Beechfield Lodge

from David H (Son of Resident) published on 10 April 2025

We are really pleased with the care given to my mother. She is nearly 104 and has been at Beechfield for 5 years. The staff are, without exception, caring, positive and kind to her. We have never had any doubts about her care. Communication is excellent and we are always informed of any changes or incidents.
We feel she is safe and treated with great respect. We have also seen how other residents are treated and we are sometimes amazed at how patient and lovely the staff are. Thank you Beechfield.

Harden Hall is a really nice care home. When my Aunt needed full-time care I visited a lot of different providers, and Harden Hall stood out as the obvious choice. I'm always updated on any issues, and she is looked after with great care.

I cant praise this care home enough. My dad is still settling in and has had a few difficulties but the carers show him respect and compassion. They adapt to his needs and find ways to assist with his adjustment that we haven't thought of. In addition they are happy to talk us and help us understand
dementia too. Its been a steep learning curve but they have helped us immensely. We have great peace if mind that he is safe and well looked after. Thank you
