My son was at Peddle Mill Care Home for 7 years, he passed away 24/3/25. The care he had from the first day was second to none. I have know doubt that his life was extended by their care, it became his home, and I had no fear of leaving him in their care. All staff and management treated him as their
own, showing empathy for his condition. My life also changed because of the support they gave me. Although his age was far less than others, they made sure he had his music and he joined in their wonderful activities.

Highly recommend this care home. The members of staff are caring and warm professional and always keep informed. Building is very clean though rooms are small but adequate. Over the years my mom has been in several care homes at different stages of her life but this is the first one she has felt happy, safe and cared for without being made to feel like she is a burden.
The staff within the care home are always helpful, cheerful, listen to you, take any potential concerns
onboard, and more importantly take the relevant action whenever it is necessary.
As a son I feel like my mom is in a caring and safe environment, which means I am not worrying about her 24-7.
The last 12 months since the new care manager has taken over has seen the turn over of staff stop, which reflects on her dedication to improve the care environment and the staffs hard work.
In my opinion this is one of the best care homes around, if not the best!
Keep it up!

Ardenlea Court is a very friendly and caring home. Staff are very courteous and so lovely. They are compassionate and empathetic towards the resident and treat them with respect. The management team are also very friendly and caring. They feel more like your friends than employees of the home.

Ardenlea Court Care Home is a truly wonderful place!
We started at Ardenlea Court earlier this month and it has been running for the last 4 weeks. We were looking to start an intergenerational toddler group and we were delighted when Ardenlea Court were keen to partner with us on this project. It
has been a joy to work with the staff to provide this enriching opportunity for the residents and the toddlers who attend.
Thank you for making us feel so welcome. The staff are friendly and very helpful and have a lovely relationship with the residents. Staff are attentive to residents' needs and offer them many wonderful opportunities throughout the week.

Mum has a very pleasant room with a lovely view of the garden.

My sister moved into her new care home after her previous one closed with minimal notice. The manager and staff were very helpful, considerate and professional. We had lots of help moving in her belongings and helping her to settle in. There are lots of well organised activities which my sister joins
in with. She hardly engaged at all in her previous home. Well done team!

All the staff were very caring and professional during my three week stay after an operation. Living alone after the death of my wife, I wanted support available immediately after the operation and then two weeks later when my catheter was removed as I was unsure what the impact of my incontinence
would be. The inclusive laundry service was a key factor. I was able to self medicate most of my medication, but the nurses did the injections I required until I was confident enough to do them myself. The food was so much better than in the hospital. With the daily pastries, I was able to treat myself and start to enjoy my recovery more as a holiday. I enjoyed talking with all the staff as I recovered as I felt that they took time to be friendly and listen to me. I was pleased with my stay as it was certainly a major contributory factor to my recovery.

Personal attentive service & care which bought my mother back to life! Despite the shock of having to require respite care, I saw my mother blossom & flourish during her time at the home. The nursing & care staff were excellent and went out of their way to meet her personal needs. Yet it was the
social activities ladies that achieved more than I ever thought would be possible with my mother. Whilst becoming a social recluse in her own home, at Priory Court my mother thoroughly enjoyed the various social activities, put on for her & the other residents [& I have photos to prove it!]. My mum was safe, cared for & happy & I can't thank the staff enough for such personal attentive care. Bless you all!

A pleasant well maintained building. I was welcomed and quickly made comfortable in my pleasant room. During my short rehab stay I was treated with care, consideration and respect by all members of staff and my visitors are welcomed. Any minor problems were usually dealt with quickly. Food is plentiful
served and care was taken to provide for particular requests. There was a varied programme of activities that I am sure would be of benefit to longer staying residents. Overall a good and positive experience. My only criticism related to payment. I asked to use my bank card but this was not possible. I feel this should be reconsidered.

My three weeks' respite care at The Priory Care Home helped me to recover from a traumatic hip fracture operation. The standard of care was excellent. The staff were amazing. They treated me with empathy, kindness and humour. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was amazing - nutritious, with plenty
of variety. My personal needs were catered for; I was treated with dignity and encouraged to join in activities and regain my mobility and confidence. I felt secure and relaxed by the end of my stay.

When we called The Priory Care Home asking to place my uncle, he had just lost his primary carer, my father, and we had really been struggling to get any help through social services. Immediately the manager and the team were excellent, they helped us place my uncle and meet his needs at a very difficult
time for him and the whole family, when we had struggled for support elsewhere. He has only been at The Priory briefly, but the team there have gone above and beyond to ensure that he has settled, providing excellent food and a clean and stable location where his care needs can be met. Even going as far as to get a birthday cake cooked in advance of his birthday on Saturday. We cannot express enough our gratitude to the team at The Priory.
