Hadley Lawns Care Home

from Paul B (Regular Volunteer) published on 25 April 2025
Overall Experience  Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5

I visit the home once a month, and I'm always hugely impressed with the care and devotion which all members of staff offer to the residents. Everyone has a smile and a joke and an easy, friendly manner. And I notice that the residents respond with a happy demeanour. It's clearly a very well-run establishment.
Well done!

Brookview Care Home

from J H (Son of Resident) published on 25 April 2025

My Mother was a resident at Brookview for a year and a half. She settled in really quickly and found the staff to be warm and sensitive to her needs. The medical care and support provided was able to cope with the number of challenges associated with Mother's later life. If I was in the position of
having to decide on a care home for a parent today, I would not hesitate in choosing Brookview again. Thank you.

Hazelmere House Care Home is friendly, professional and caring. My mum feels well looked after, safe and happy. The staff are all friendly and clearly care about the residents. It is always pleasant to visit and witness such a lovely atmosphere. My mum has all her needs met and despite her health
requiring her to spend most of her time in her room, never feels isolated. Given the number of residents, it is a wonderful achievement. The staff take the time to get to know her. They maintain her dignity at all times and show respect for her as an individual. Communication is excellent on all levels. We are so happy that my mum is there and feel relaxed and reassured that she is getting the best care available.

A lovely care home, wehre all the staff are very friendly yet professional. Husband was very unsure about going into a care home, albeit temporarily. I can in all honesty say he did more in 5 days in the home than he had for 5 years at home! This is simply down to the staff, gently encouraging him to
get out of his room and try different activities. There can be no higher praise to give to a brilliant, caring and helpful home.

Pebble Mill Care Home

from L T (Mother of Resident) published on 23 April 2025
Overall Experience  Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5

My son was at Peddle Mill Care Home for 7 years, he passed away 24/3/25. The care he had from the first day was second to none. I have know doubt that his life was extended by their care, it became his home, and I had no fear of leaving him in their care. All staff and management treated him as their
own, showing empathy for his condition. My life also changed because of the support they gave me. Although his age was far less than others, they made sure he had his music and he joined in their wonderful activities.

Wilton Manor Care Home

from D H (Daughter of Resident) published on 23 April 2025
Overall Experience  Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5

My mum has been in the care home for several years.
She has been and still is well cared for with compassion, dignity and excellent care from the staff. There are a few carers who go over and above when looking after Mum. Mum is happy, content and looks upon the care home as her home.
She is safe,
happy, treated well, stimulated and treated as a human being; who matters.

Elm View were marvelous when we had to arrange emergency respite care for my father.
They were so kind and caring to all of us on arrival, showing real understanding of a very difficult situation.
My father seems to be settling well, and the quality of food, cake etc is a great hit with him. Thank
you all at Elm View for your ongoing care especially the manager, but also all the wonderful staff and admin.

Meadbank Care Home

from R P (Friend of Resident) published on 22 April 2025
Overall Experience  Overall Experience 2.0 out of 5

Was at the home this weekend. My friend of 24 years was in a wheelchair very uncomfortable. Asked if she could be moved and a staff member said yes. Nothing was done. Staff on phone all the time. Gave friend tissue twice as there was nose running. Staff without a word took tissues out of drawer and
slammed slammed down on the table in front of friend went back on phone. Did not even look at friend. Really bad

A lovely spacious building with very large rooms. A good level of activities during the day and a lovely variety of meals each week catering for all.
The staff, though possibly a few too few, are friendly, helpful and personable to residents and family members alike.
So far our stay has been very
enjoyable.

My wife recently had a choking incident at lunch time and the staff took prompt action for resuscitation and recovery. Had it not been for their professional care the consequence could have been extremely serious. They called an ambulance and my wife recovered later that evening. I cannot praise the
staff highly enough.
I would like to add that all the carers are of the highest standards.
