My 90 year old Dad has been living in this care home since July 2024. He came in following hospital care for some respite and his health has gone from strength to strength thanks to the caring staff and manager. We are supported and involved in Dad's care and always informed of any issues that arise.
I would recommend this home to anyone looking for a professional and caring service for their loved one.

Despite only a brief stay at the home our mother was treated with dignity and respect.
Any ratings less than 5 below are indicative only of the fact that refurbishments were being undertaken during her stay. Otherwise, very happy with the treatment received.

Dear Pete, thank you for your kind comments. We loved having Mum with us for the short while, we hope that we will see Mum and you all again soon! Kind regards, Anda.

My father moved across county to be near family. The manager and staff have been superb, ensuring Dad had a smooth transition, great support and care. Total respect for him and family. He had been in hospital three and a half months and I was concerned how he would settle. I am so pleased that Dad has
settled well and is happy. I even saw him singing along to some tunes being played by visiting organiser. Thank you!

My husband has been at Burlington Hall since September 2019. I was so pleased with the care and love he was shown back then. He was treated with respect right from the start. The family was always welcomed and made to feel at home.
However, the dynamic manager has not rested on her laurels. She strives
for excellent care on behalf of the residents and their families. Over the years, the standard of care has continued to improve as my husband has deteriorated. Staff are vigilant in monitoring his health and well-being. They keep me updated with developments and I am always made to feel welcome when I visit him.
There is a strong team of permanent and professional carers which also enhances the care of the residents, as they get to know the residents well and can therefore spot if there is something awry before it becomes a problem.

Mum spent only seventy days in Burlington Hall but each and every one of those days was filled with care and compassion for her and for her situation. Initially, it was thought she would be spending just a couple of weeks in respite care after discharge from hospital. I asked an old friend if they could
recommend somewhere and without hesitation they recommended Burlington Hall. Burlington Hall's wonderful and impressive manager spoke to us and visited Mum in hospital and from there on in we felt that Mum was the complete focus of their care and attention. It was as if Mum was their only resident but I now know that they give the same level of outstanding care to all their residents and families. I am not entirely sure how they achieve this... I suspect the "recipe" is a combination of impressive organisation, sheer hard work... and literally breathtaking amounts of kindness and compassion.
I will never forget all that they did for my mother during her last few months of life.

My 95-year-old mother-in-law became a resident at Burlington Hall for what was expected to be respite care following a fall. She had severe oedema and an aggressive and debilitating cancer. Burlington Hall turned out to be her final home.
The love and care that she was given was of the highest conceivable
standard at every level. Nothing was too much trouble and the care extended to my wife and our dog. In the last days of my mother-in-law's life, she and we were tended and looked after in a way which was personal as well as reassuringly professional. We will be forever grateful.

Our relative had been in the care home for just under four years. Her admission was due to advanced dementia requiring one-to-one care.
Despite all the difficulties of dealing with her the staff always demonstrated care and kindness. They were always very patient despite regular difficulties and provocation
from her.
She was always well turned out, well fed and we believe well looked after.

My husband has had a successful respite stay for two weeks. The experience was a big step for both of us, but with the support of the staff he was able to stay and receive the personal care required. The staff especially the manager showed kindness, patience and support. They were always available for
any questions I had. Hopefully my husband will have a return visit in a few months.

Fantastic service. The staff are so caring and go above and beyond to make sure the stay went well. Did not have to worry if anything needed sorting with health and care, as this was always carefully monitored 24/7. Cannot thank them enough for the care provided, it put our minds are rest that Dad was
getting the proper care needed. Dad was happy during his stay.

Our dear mum was here for nearly 6 years before passing away in November 2020. During that time we could not fault the care and compassion extended to her and to us! We now feel very privileged to be welcomed as volunteers and be surrounded by such lovely staff and residents where we will strive with
them to continue their core values and you will be welcomed to the Burlington Hall Family.
Built on trust, kindness and respect where we all love to spread happiness with everyone.

My friend was welcomed into Burlington Hall under stressful circumstances in early June 2023 and has received exemplary care and consideration since arriving. All of the staff follow their manager's lead in their welcoming, patient and efficient care and support to residents. They are considerate and
pay attention to individual residents' needs and requests and offer smiles and refreshments to visitors and residents alike. Kindness, respect and nurturing care are shown each day, despite the variety of challenges that are dealt with both day and night. Thank you to you all.

My husband, who suffers from dementia, has been a resident of Burlington Hall for 18 months. His carers are so loving and gentle as well as being efficient and organised. The manager and her team make sure everything runs smoothly and make every effort to make Burlington feel like home for both residents
and visitors. It is always clean; food excellent. I have no complaints.

We feel so lucky to have found Burlington Hall to care for our 95-year-old mum. Using Burlington Hall for respite care, we were very happy for her to become a permanent resident five months ago. Burlington Hall has matched and exceeded our expectations. All staff are very caring, friendly, and dedicated
and provide a very warm, homely environment. The varied activity schedule perfectly suits Mum's needs with physical exercise, bingo and creative crafting along with much-enjoyed music and dance (staff quickly recognised Mum's love of dance). Staff make our visits to see Mum a real pleasure with so many friendly faces welcoming us. Our particular favourite places in the home are the bridge and for larger family visits the cosy family lounges. The manager and her team have been exemplary with great open communication channels in place, resolving issues efficiently. Burlington Hall staff were very efficient at taking over all of Mum's needs including GP, dentist, chiropody, hair and nails. We have no hesitation in recommending Burlington Hall.

My father is so well looked after and all the staff are absolutely amazing. The management obviously care more about their residents than a lot of other care homes. We honestly cannot fault the care my father receives. One of the residents recently died and the staff were all very sad, which shows how
invested they are in the people they care for. I would highly recommend this care home to anyone who is looking for a care home for relatives or themselves. We also, as visitors, feel like part of the family.

Burlington Hall is a welcoming, warm environment. All the staff are helpful and considerate and are always willing to help. The carers seem to be genuinely fond of their residents, responding readily to their needs.

Dear Jill, thank you very much for your feedback. I was happy that we had the chance to speak about the rating that you have given us and I have taken in consideration all of your comments. I have discussed with the chef and together with the residents, we will review in our next residents' meeting (1st February) to find out their thoughts on the menu. We appreciate very much all the comments and we like to improve our standards on a daily basis. A member of staff will send you monthly collages with Mum's participation in our daily activities. Please feel free to continue to update us with any of your thoughts at any time. Thank you.

Burlington Hall provides excellent care for my father. The staff are caring and considerate and treat him with respect at all times. They support our wish to be involved with his care when we can (for example, helping him if we visit over a mealtime) but we are also secure that when we are not there,
the quality of care remains the same.

We chose Burlington Hall because following an initial visit, in comparison to some other care homes, we left with a feeling of strong, active leadership and a sense that the staff genuinely cared for the residents.
The reality has been even better than we had hoped - I’m reassured by my father’s endless
praise of the staff who care for him and, that following bereavement, he has finally begun to find peace and engaged positively with his new community.
