Overall Experience

I feel my mum is finally settling into her new way of life. As I visit regularly, I am getting to know lots of the staff and they are all very welcoming. I did ask a few weeks ago if it would be possible to have tea/coffee-making facilities. I've even offered to bring in my own, realising the kettle

must be PAC tested. I also appreciate that a kettle isn't appropriate for all residents, so maybe a fob for visitors to enter the Olive Room?

The Entry. I appreciate that staff aren't always available to answer the doorbell but on the last two occasions, I have had to wait outside in the cold to be let in. A visiting relative drove over from Sutton on Sea and could not gain access as no one answered after 20 minutes. I usually end up having to ring the telephone number to ask for admission. Is there a way a doorbell could be fitted in more areas of the care home with an access button?

The refurbishment is looking good and we look forward to seeing what happens with the outside garden space.

Overall Experience

My mother has been a resident at Fairways for the last 18 months and her care has been second to none. The staff are attentive caring and kìnd. Nothing is too much.
All the staff have been welcoming to us as a family and we appreciate all the help and care given to my mother.

Overall Experience

Staff are very professional and courteous at all times. Any queries are responded to rapidly. Brilliant home with lovely bedrooms that can be made homely as you like. The food is really good, with plenty of choices and variety.
Mum is treated with kindness, care and respect.

Overall Experience

So pleasantly surprised at the lounge of Cranwell, my sister's room is lovely it is cleaned to a high standard, the food served looks excellent, but the thing that pleased me the most is the wonderful caring nature of all staff. My sister is assisted with personal care and always looks well presented.

Staff treat her with compassion and respect. The staff are well managed and the building is excellent for resident's needs - well done HICA and thank you. You're brilliant!

Overall Experience

From the moment Cranwell Court agreed to take my husband as an emergency admission, everyone has gone out of their way to treat him with respect, whilst looking after him and helping him settle in. All the carers without exception are prepared to go the extra mile to make him comfortable. His apartment

with its own front door, bed, sitting area, wet room, and kitchenette is very comfortable. It is nice for the family to have somewhere to relax and make a hot drink when we visit him. I would recommend Cranwell Court without hesitation.

Overall Experience

My Mum went for respite awaiting rehabilitation bed. The care attention, help, and support were exceptional.
After assessments by physiotherapists, they stated she had made good progress and didn't need a rehab bed and continued to make excellent progress with the support and help from all the staff.

We would recommend this facility.

Overall Experience

Dad has been living at Cranwell Court since October 2023 and in that time he has been shown nothing but the highest standards of care and respect. His needs are very well catered for and the staff has taken time to get to know him and engage him in a range of activities that have brought him out of

his shell and made him settled and part of the community. They have gone the extra mile to show that he isn't just another dementia patient. The family is always given a warm welcome on visits and the communication from the team is always brilliant. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with everything that Dad could need. We have been encouraged to bring his furniture and belongings in to help him feel more comfortable.
I cannot thank Cranwell Court enough for all they are doing for Dad.

Overall Experience

Dad was treated with great care and respect. Nothing was too much trouble. It brought him alive. The stimulation of other people around him did him good. At home, he would just sit and stare out the window or TV. It gave Mum a well-deserved rest from him shouting for her day and night. Thank you.

All the care workers here are so nice, friendly and helpful, they can't do enough for residents and families. They are absolutely brilliant with my mum, which me and my partner and family have seen first hand. This makes it easier to leave her, knowing that she is in good hands and well looked after.

Overall Experience

I cannot praise highly enough the care given to my mum following a fall. The kindness and support shown by all staff has helped make a very difficult two months easier to manage. Family and friends have been welcomed into the home when visiting Mum and my dad, who spends most of the day by my mum's

side, has been supported and befriended by everyone. Mum's needs have been met with kindness, compassion and respect and the professionalism of all staff is helping Mum regain her independence. Thank you.

I must give praise to all the staff at Cranwell Court, my wife has been there after an accident and the care she receives and the support given exceeded all expectations, the staff made a difficult time a lot easier for all. With no restrictions on visiting it made my wife's stay far more easy to recover.

We would like to thank all of the staff at Cranwell Court for all the excellent care and support they have given our father over the few years he has been a resident. The staff have been so helpful and friendly and every care and consideration has been given to our father and ourselves. We cannot speak

highly enough of all the staff who have been absolutely amazing and this has given us peace of mind, knowing Dad was well cared for but even more than that he was treated like family. My father has been given dignity, care and love during his stay at Cranwell Court. All the staff have shown a level of care and consideration to my father more like he is part of their family not just a dementia resident. I have had experience with other dementia care homes and I must express how pleased

I am to have my father at Cranwell Court, where the staff show exceptional care and devotion to him. He is treated with respect and cared for. Which not only helps settle his dementia. But also allows me to feel confident he could not be cared for any better if I was doing it myself. My father is now on palliative care and during these difficult times I could not ask for more. The compassion and help given to both my father, myself and family is exceptional. A residential home is made out of bricks and mortar. It doesn't become a true care home until the right staff are in place with the right attitude. I would recommend Cranwell Court Care Home to anyone. It helped me and my dad.

Lovely, friendly, happy place (most of the time). Staff were very helpful and non-judgmental. Liked that residents can wonder around whenever they want to. Liked lock door system. Lots of activities going on for those who want to join in. Always staff visible to chat to and would ring to check if unsure

Overall Experience

Our 90-year-old Dad was discharged from the hospital to Fairways in March. Sadly he needed end of life care. He had no dementia.

The care and dignity he was afforded up to and including the time of his death was exemplary. The support we were given as a family was also notable and appreciated.
We

would not hesitate to recommend the care given to our Dad. It was often above and beyond the expectations of a care home and more like that of a nursing home. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff.They treated him with the greatest respect.
