Review of

Villette Lodge

from Jacqueline M (Aunt of Resident) published on 10 April 2024
Overall Experience  Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5

My niece stayed at Villette from 14th November 2023, we could not express our gratitude to the wonderful staff there. The level of professionalism and more importantly care was second to none.
She was supported in every aspect and was encouraged to engage in activities and learned many social skills,
all whilst being assessed for her forever home, her confidence grew daily boredom was never an issue, and she learned to cook and be more independent than we had ever dreamed. They didn’t just support my niece but me also, I was always greeted with a warm welcome and many times a shoulder to cry on. My niece has now left their care and moved to her new home, we will never be able to thank them all for all the hard work care, and support they truly are amazing, and we will never forget their kindness.

Grindon Mews Short Break Centre

from Pauline B (Mother of Resident) published on 20 March 2024
Overall Experience  Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5

My disabled daughter attends Grindon Mews Short Break Centre and absolutely loves it. The staff are brilliant and make such a fuss of her. The building is beautiful, bright and clean. I don't worry at all about leaving her there which is the biggest compliment I can give the staff who care for her while
she is there.

Pathetic care, infected toe, no follow-up, not even noticed. Inadequate staff team, not supervised correctly and robbed while supported out, not very professional at all. CQC made aware, the manager has no control. Very weak leadership skills evident. Glad sons out, very poor care shown here.
