Rosedale Centre

I came into Rosedale in a wheelchair, not really knowing what to expect. I was put at ease straight away, all the staff were so friendly and caring, and it was so reassuring. My room was comfortable, the food was excellent and the therapy was just what I needed. Rosedale and its staff really care about
their residents and always put their welfare first. Not only my physical condition improved but my mental outlook too. I left being able to use a walker, with more therapy in place to improve my mobility. Thank you all so much, you have given me a new lease of life!

My Mum was admitted to Rosedale in early September 2024 (having been in hospital for 5 weeks) and was discharged to her own home 4 weeks later.
The care was exceptional from all staff who were so friendly, caring, and professional. My Mum transformed from a very low motivational state and needing
a lot of help to mobilising independently, eating and drinking well, and socialising with the other residents.
The food was excellent - appetising and well-presented. Mum went from virtually not eating in hospital to having 3 nutritious meals a day - well done Chef.
We cannot thank everyone at Rosedale enough, without all of you the outcome could have been very different.
Well done to you all - you are a credit to your professions.

We cannot speak highly enough of Rosedale and the care my Grandma received during her time there. Every single member of staff always had a smile on their face and cared about their job so deeply. The kitchen staff are amazing and pour lots of love and care into their food.
My Grandma loved the social
elements and activities, which really improved her overall well-being. We cannot thank Rosedale enough.

Absolutely excellent service. The staff make this place what it is; the physiotherapist and my carer are just some of the staff that really made it great! Their care was exceptional and, after coming from a hospital, the transition was exceptional. From not walking, to walking over 200 meters in just
over a week is amazing! I’m truly thankful for Rosedale and the staff, they have really, really helped my recovery and I am truly indebted to them all! Thanks.

Review of

Rosedale Centre

from David G (Brother of Resident) published on 6 February 2023
Overall Experience  Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5

The starting point for my brother was pretty low, he was unable to stand by himself and mobility was pretty much nonexistent. During his four-week residency, he progressed to standing unaided, walking(not shuffling) with a braked walker and being in a position from where he could return to his own home.
We only had snapshots of the care he received but it is obvious to us that the centre put a great deal of effort into supporting his rehab. The staff we met were always friendly and able to make the time to talk about my brother and his progress. Since his return home physios have visited him there and assessed his capabilities for independent living.
So a big thank you is due to all of the staff at Rosedale.

I found the staff very friendly and really wanted to help. The manager was approachable and helpful. The staff kept me up to date. No complaints, well done guys. On another note, non-staff related, it really needs an update, which I know is in the pipeline.
