Thank you to the team at Beatrice Webb who in these uncertain times have gone above and beyond for their residents and their families. Due to Covid-19 and lock down the Manager is making sure residents can video call their families so they can keep in touch. Wonderful team and lovely home. Thank you.

Brodawel

No one wants to see a loved one enter a care home, but if necessary you want it to be a good place.
Bottom line - you will not find a better place than Brodawel!
My mother spent 19 months in Brodawel until she passed away on March 31st 2018.
The staff reacted as if a favourite auntie had died - that
says a lot about how they approach and treat their residents.
When my Mum became very poorly I visited every day for almost a month sometimes staying hours on end.
Because of this, I got a very good insight into how Brodawel and its staff function. They were brilliant! I was very impressed by their tireless efforts, their patience, compassion and professionalism.
The staff all go the extra mile to make residents feel at home. They organize all sorts of activities to stimulate the residents.

Please accept our heartfelt thanks to all of the staff at Beatrice Webb for the amazing love and care they gave to my auntie. My aunt sadly passed away 19th July and was a resident at the care home for four and a half years. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff who I think were her good friends
as well as her carers. In fact, I would go so far as to say they treated her more like a family member than simply a resident at the care home. I would like to mention names but note that the guidelines advise against this. My aunt was one of life's great characters and will be sadly missed. Thank you to the management, carers, cleaners, handyman and kitchen staff. We will always be grateful to you for making my aunt's final years so good and will remember you all with great affection.

Ty Iscoed

My mother was admitted into Ty Iscoed when she was unable to care for herself and after several falls at her home. She also suffered giddy spells and memory loss. Mam also had wounds on both legs which were not healing. This was in April 2016. Although this home has little in the way of mod-cons it
more than made up for this with the care, affection and love Mam was given. My mother who passed away on the 18th March this year received all this love and commitment from dedicated staff at Ty Iscoed. The dignity and respect given to her was exceptional. Doctors and district nurses are also to be commended for their continuous medical attention to mam legs.
I cannot praise Ty Iscoed enough for the devotion, care and love Mam was given during her stay. My sincere thanks to you all and in particular the managers for making Mams stay happy and contented one.
In finishing, may I also express my sincere thanks to everyone for the kindness and professionalism shown to me.

Brodawel

My mother has been resident in Brodawel since Christmas 2014 having been transferred from another care home as she needed a higher level of staffing. As a family we have all found the staff, care and level of cleanliness of a very high standard and more importantly, our mother has been treated with
the utmost dignity. A review meeting with social services takes place once a year where family members discuss all aspects of care. We try and visit approximately once a week/fortnight and all keep in contact via email as my sister is the only member of our family who resides locally. I live in London and visit as often as I am able. Any queries have always been answered promptly by staff on duty or we have been referred to the management team. We have always found staff very cheerful and have tried to support them in their fundraising efforts when organising activities within the home which are not funded by the local council. I have no hesitation in recommending Brodawel.

Brodawel

My mother has been a resident since April 2015. We have found that she is treated with great care and dignity. Mum has a beautiful room, she is allowed her family photographs on the wall and other personal possessions around her. Her room overlooks the beautifully kept gardens. Visitors are allowed
at anytime, and while there are allowed to use a very pleasant family room where they can make tea/coffee. The residents have many different day rooms, or they can go out into the gardens. The security is good, coded doors and good fencing around the gardens. Overall we are extremely happy with the care that mum is receiving.
