My mom resides at Goldhill House and has been there for 3 years now. Although she spends a lot of time in her bedroom I am so pleased with the care she receives. Staff ensure there is adequate activities in house so that she is always entertained and occupied. Goldhill house is always clean and I love
the smell of fresh flowers when I visit at the reception area.

My friend has been staying at Jubilee since around September.
She transitioned into the service slowly. The staff at Jubilee managed so well with her especially when she became really poorly, they went above and beyond. The manager at Jubilee organised for her to have some respite at GoldHill and
this did her the world of good! The manager at GoldHill gave brilliant care for her and was such a big help with getting her back on her feet. She has since moved back down to Jubilee and is doing ever so well! I honestly cant thank the teams enough for working together to make her life that bit better! The staff is so lovely and has done so much to help

Reply from Melanie Strong, Supported Living Manager at Jubilee House

My good friend went to GoldHill for a couple of months of respite after she took quite poorly. The staff and the manager at GoldHill put so much effort into getting her back to her normal life. They helped her with her cooking and cleaning skills as well as getting her into all of the appointments that
she needed to get better. I honestly cant thank them enough for all their hard work. When she was feeling better the manager organised with the manager at Jubilee for her to slowly move back there. She has been doing ever so well since moving back to Jubilee and it's all because of the staff teams at both homes they do such a good Job. Its such a homely and welcoming environment and she really enjoyed her time there.

I have lived here at Goldhill for around 6 months, and in that time I feel my confidence has improved a lot and I am really happy with the support I receive. Initially, I was worried about moving into a new setting, however, all staff were welcoming and made me feel comfortable and safe. I feel safe
at Goldhill and the staff are friendly and make sure you are always involved in activities. I have made some new friends while living here and have been out into the community with my peers and staff for a friendly game of football.

I feel this place has been really good for me. I feel I have a lot more freedom and independence since I moved in. Staff helped me get a voluntary job and I work four days a week. I like the outings to the seaside, arts and crafts, pampering and active hour. Goldhill is very clean and we all take part
in active hours where we all help clean. I enjoy this because it makes me proud of where I live and my home. My key worker helped me decorate my bedroom and she supports me with shopping. My key worker also took me on holiday for a weekend which I enjoyed. I like it here and I like the staff and management. They care for us. Thank you all.

I have been living at Goldhill House for a year and a half. The building is very clean, I get good cooked meals. The staff are friendly and professional. I like the manager she is supportive and fair. I enjoy the day trips to the seaside and going fishing with my key worker. I feel I have a lot of support
and I have had a lot of restrictions taken off me due to the progress I have made. I have managed to stay off drugs and have a supportive social worker and advocate. My goal is to step down to their supported living facility Jubilee House. I feel lucky to be at Goldhill House.

Very happy with the care this home provides. My biggest compliment is the staff. They are caring and kind and go above and beyond always. I also want to compliment management on communication as they keep me informed of any changes or concerns. Goldhill House is always spotless when I visit. It's like

I've been here since February 2024.

The staff here are very friendly helpful and caring.
The manager goes above and beyond and the staff works well on your one-to-ones.
The place is very nice and clean and your flat is lovely and big.
Jubilee

My brother resides at Goldwell House. He appears to be very happy and settled. I have no complaints regarding the care he gets. If he's happy I'm happy. The staff are very friendly and welcoming as well as the manager. I have regular contact with the home, and as yet everything has been great. My brother
has never complained to me about not being happy.

I like the freedom to do as I please.
I like all the other clients here and I like all the staff and how much they help me to do things outside my comfort zone and achieve my goals. Staff always treat me well no matter what happens. A member of staff has helped me massively to become more independent

My niece has struggled with her mental health and substance misuse for years. It was always difficult to keep her occupied and for her to work towards achieving her goals. Goldhill House was suggested to us by a social worker we have known for years. I must say when we were invited to view the home
by the registered manager, it exceeded our expectations. The home was spotless, super clean and smelt lovely. The staff were so professional and registered manager was so warm and welcoming. Since my niece moved in she has gained so much independence, she can now cook, clean and take medication without help. We never thought as a family she would get here. I feel that Goldhill House is the best mental health rehabilitation facility in Chesterfield! The team at Goldhill House should be so proud.

I am a close friend of one of the clients at Jubilee House. I recently visited my friend, and I could not believe the difference in him. His appearance and overall health/mental health have improved drastically since his time in the service. I met some of the staff on my visit, and they were very friendly
and approachable.
The house was immaculately clean, and the size and quality of his flat were amazing.
I cannot thank Jubilee enough for the help and support that they have given my friend.

I’ve been living at Jubilee House since July 2022 and over the 11 months I’ve been here I’ve made much progress in my recovery thanks to the incredible support workers, and manager of Jubilee. I’ve always felt respected and heard while living at Jubilee, it’s a great placement if you need to strengthen

Although my daughter has been at Chilwell House Care Home for many years, from the day she arrived there, the staff have been so kind and caring. Any worries I have had with my daughter, I can always talk to any of the staff and they are all very approachable. Lots of activities take place with clients,
suiting their capabilities. All clients take part in cooking, cleaning, washing etc. This helps with giving them their independence back with the aim of independent living, for which I cannot thank them enough. Also, Chilwell House is in a good position for joining in with community activities. I would like to extend a great, big thank you to all the staff at Chilwell House.
