I didn't ever want to be in a position of needing care but I must say that this experience of care make me think that I would like to come back here if I had to. The staff are very kind + the rooms very comfortable
I have also enjoyed the companionship of the residents.
I hope one of my children

love to everyone who cared for me.

Earlsfield Court

A respite stay led on to my father entering the Dementia floor on a permanent basis. Both these decisions were greatly helped by the support of the Admissions Adviser who happily answered my many questions. We were free to visit at any time and welcomed by all staff on each occasion. After 3 months
he sadly passed away peacefully there, and we greatly appreciated the care and support offered by the team throughout his time at Earlsfield.

Earlsfield Court

from Jane M (Daughter of Resident) published on 17 March 2025
Overall Experience  Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5

My mother has been a resident for over a year and Earlsfield has delivered an impeccable service and facility in order to make my mother feel at home and well cared for. The staff are courteous, exceptionally friendly and go over and above the call of duty to deliver a kind and professional service
to my mother. The home is immaculately clean and well organised throughout and my mother's room is comfortable and spacious with a Smart TV and an en suite facility.

Menu choices are varied and the meals are always well prepared and presented. Communal areas are spacious, tastefully decorated with an in-house private dining room (in addition to the main dining area), cinema, hairdressing and beauty salon, all needs are catered for. There is also a varied weekly activity schedule.

The management team lead by example and staff always display a positive and happy attitude whilst being at work. I thoroughly recommend Earlsfield Court to anyone looking for a 5-star retirement care home.

Netley Court Care Home

from Kim G (Daughter of Resident) published on 14 March 2025
Overall Experience  Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5

I bought my father to Netley Court beginning November 2024. He was very reluctant to leave his home and go somewhere strange for him.
With the kindness, care, support of all the staff Dad began to respond to all the staff's lovely manner towards him. Nothing at all was too much trouble for them and
he was regularly checked on through the day and night - cups of tea at any time within the 24 hours.
The staff were extremely supportive to me and my family, at all times, keeping me up to date of how Dad was managing, food intake and speaking with his Doctor on numerous occasions. Nothing was too much trouble for them.
I would highly recommend Netley Court in every way.
I would like to say a massive thank you to all staff at NC (on every level) for giving my Dad a very peaceful loving experience in his last 7 months of his life. Thank you.

Reply from Sarah Gillett, Homes admission advisor at Netley Court Care Home

We looked for a care home for my father in law for a while and after being recommend to go and look at Netley Court we decided to make a visit. The impression we received was of a very caring home where the staff were clearly involved with the residents on a personal level and it was obvious that this
was a really well run care home with caring staff and management. The food was excellent and staff happy to make something for you off the main menu if required. There were also numerous activities going on and all displayed on the activity board in order that we could preplan. I would have no hesitation in recommending Netley Court to any prospective user.

Oakley Grange Care Home

from Jim M (Husband of Resident) published on 13 March 2025
Overall Experience  Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5

I'm sorry for the delay in contacting you.
I want to thank you and the whole team at Oakley Grange for the help you gave to my wife during the ten days she spent with you following her hip operation.
I probably didn't meet everyone, but the colleagues that I did meet were, without exception, outstanding.
They were all positive and supportive and gave all their attention to ensuring that my wife and any visitors were left happy and relaxed.
I may have told you that friends of ours, who made a visit to see her, had previously visited another friend who had been in five different care homes and they said that none had measured up to Oakley Grange. My experiences of visiting my mother and sister, although they were well looked after, were similar.
My wife is improving, although the progress is, as expected, fairly slow.
I will always recommend your home to anyone who is looking for assistance.
Thank you again.

My mum came in for some respite after a hospital fall. The plan was for her to come home. We had tried to get her into respite for many years but she refused. After a few weeks at Hartwood, mum made the decision that she wanted to remain here permanently! We are blown away by the incredible staff here
and the care they show everyone from each-other, the residents and visitors. Hartwood House is more than a care home - its a home!

The fact that she has chosen to stay is just wonderful news, she has made such a good group of friends and to see her interacting and joining them for meal times is so lovely! We really are a family here at Hartwood House and the residents and their loved ones are a part of that also. We are so glad to have you all with us.

Parkfield Grange

Choosing care facilities for a loved one is a frightening experience. Parkfields from the start alleviates your fears. All of the care staff share one characteristic in common and that is they are all very kind. Whilst care is professional there is a very relaxed feeling about the care home. My mother
arrived 6 months ago, she took time to settle as I was worried but now I rest easy knowing she is safe, warm but above all happy. In the circumstances Parkfields have achieved everything in my family.

It's so lovely to hear that your mother is settled and that you are reassured by her living with us. Our team work hard to support people for the difficult decisions families face when choosing a care home, so your comment about how you felt during the process, is great to hear.

Lakeview Grange

from N K (Son of Resident) published on 10 March 2025
Overall Experience  Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5

Our mother had been in hospital for about a month due to a COPD flare up and needed somewhere to stay to get some strength back.
This was our first experience with a care home so we did not really know what to expect but after being in hospital for a month we wanted our mother to spend the next four
weeks somewhere that was comfortable and a bit more like home. The team at Lakeview were amazing, nothing was too much trouble, they were all very patient and kind and did everything they could to make sure my mother benefitted the most from her stay.
I would mention the staff by name but I am too worried I would miss someone out but they were all brilliant. We really did feel like we were all part of the family and although my mother was only there for a few weeks she bonded well with the staff. She was pleased to be home, but I am sure she misses seeing them.
I would highly recommend Lakeview, fantastic care and a beautiful venue & facilities.

Sutton Park Grange

from N R (Son of Resident) published on 10 March 2025
Overall Experience  Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5

Dad has now had several respite stays at Sutton Park Grange over the past few months, and what a wonderful place it is!
The decor and ambience are incredible, but the staff are even better. The menu is varied and tasty, there are plenty of things to get involved in daily if you wish, but with the rooms
as plush as they are, spending time catching up on your favorite TV in your room is also a good option.
Dad is very impressed with Sutton Park Grange, so we can't recommend it enough!

Reply from Karen Handley, Home Admissions Advisor at Sutton Park Grange

Hartwood House Care Home

from Christopher D (Nephew of Resident) published on 4 March 2025
Overall Experience  Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5

The care I received for my Uncle was excellent, he obviously had some doubts but was made to feel welcome from the very beginning. The staff were polite and nothing was to much trouble for them. The room was clean and obvious thought had gone into the design with a themed hallway throughout. The home
is situated close to the village so convenient for residents and visitors, although this was a temporary stay I would have no doubts about making this a permanent stay if and when it would be needed.

Reply from Charlotte Dean, Home Admissions Advisor at Hartwood House Care Home

Thank you so much for your heartwarming review. It is such a difficult time for the resident and their families when coming into a care, even if its just for respite. I am glad to hear that the staff made you and your Uncle feel at ease, that is exactly what we are here for. We will make sure that we have regular contact and invite you to all of our events, but please feel free to stop by for a cup of tea at any point, you are always welcome!

Heathland House

from D H (Resident) assisted by family/friend published on 4 March 2025
Overall Experience  Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5

This is my fifth month of living in Heathland House. Being in this care home over Christmas couldn't have gone better. The entertainment each week with singers, musicians, and a lovely school choir. Even Father Christmas came around with presents for everyone. I particularly enjoy the 'use it or lose'
exercise class, and I am also learning tai chi. As I suffer from macular degeneration the management has found a blind class for me to attend every two weeks and they provide transport to and from the group. The staff are so helpful with all my needs. Cups of tea with biscuits and cake are always available. I have settled in now and it is truly my home.
