What a fabulous care home The Lodge is. Even though my Dad was only there for a week his care was second to none. Nothing was too much trouble for the care staff. They treated my Dad with dignity, respect and love as if he was their loved one.
The staff are so friendly and took great care of myself
and all the family.
The manager and her staff, we can't thank you enough for the care you gave our father in his last week of life. As a family, we can't thank you enough.

My dad has been a resident at The Court, for nearly a year. Me and my brother researched and visited a number (probably 20) of Homes before we decided on The Court. Their audit scores looked at best average, the care and compassion my dad receives every day is exceptional. The premises and gardens are
well kept, staff are brilliant.

My Mum moved into the Lodge temporarily in Spring 2017 and very quickly we realised we had found a fantastic residential home for her to stay in permanently. She spent nearly 4 years here before she passed away in January 2022. She was very happy and settled. I could not recommend the Lodge highly enough
to others. Nothing was ever too much trouble. Every member of the team played an important role in my Mum’s time there. We visited at unusual times and they always accommodated our needs as Mum’s welfare was the most important consideration, not the time of day. In her final weeks, we stayed much longer and we felt as well cared for and looked after as our mother! They genuinely care and do their very best for everyone. I had the privilege of observing them at work over prolonged periods of time and was extremely impressed. They work brilliantly together to ensure all personal needs are met. Each resident is treated as an individual and there is a fantastic atmosphere. Just brilliant.

We needed to move our 83-year-old Dad to a residential home, my brother and I visited and reviewed over 20 residential homes. The Lodge appealed to both of us, we wanted a home where Dad would be treated as an individual and be comfortable. The Lodge exceeded our expectations the staff and the hands-on
owners are fantastic and care, Dad quickly felt part of The Lodge family. He is a fussy eater but loves the food!

My Aunt of 92, has been a resident here for the last 4 years and is very happy and content. The staff are very obliging and do their utmost to ensure everyone is happy and well cared for. There is a family feeling and made to feel very welcome when you visit, which can be at any time. There is plenty
of entertainment of one sort or another, I have been there when they’ve had singers in, played bingo, trivial pursuits, cards, craft day...there is always something for them to do. Trips out are also available for those that wish to go out. I would highly recommend The Lodge and have done already, to family and friends.
