Abbey Court is a very good care home, knowing that your loved one is being cared for with dignity and compassion in a secure and understanding environment is very comforting. All the staff, from the house-keeping, kitchen staff, reception, admin to carers and nurses are friendly and kind, and help to
provide a safe and welcoming home.

My brother has been at Abbey Court Care Home for three weeks, he has settled in really well. The staff are fantastic and nothing is too much trouble. The room is lovely and clean, the bathroom is also spotless. He joins in any activity that is happening.

This is an amazing care home. The staff are absolutely brilliant and can't do enough for the residents or their families. They have plenty of activities to keep them all amused, including day trips, holidays, cinema, bowling, music, arts and crafts etc. My brother loves it there, and they really go
out of their way to ensure he has all he needs (including specialist equipment) and look after him in every way.

Dalton Court Care Home

from Tony Y (Husband of Resident) published on 11 July 2024
Overall Experience  Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5

My wife was admitted to Dalton Court Care Home in March 24. Daphne had lost all mobility and found it difficult to communicate. All staff treated Daphne with love and kindness, with care and compassion.
Whenever we visited we always received a friendly greeting. Staff were willing and able to inform
us of Daphne's condition and they extended the same kindness to ourselves. My wife died on 29th June and the nurses have my grateful thanks for giving me time to say goodbye before they carried out their professional duties. I have no hesitation in recommending Dalton Court to any potential patients.

My late Mother spent the last three months of her life at Charles Court. She was almost blind with epilepsy and Alzheimer's. She had reverted to her Italian language but the staff went the extra mile to try and communicate and comfort her in her own language. The staff from the HCA's to the management
were exactly who you would want to look after your most loved one.

I was so happy to see my friend so happy. When she first came here she was so low and ill. She has told me that nothing is too much trouble for any of the staff. My friend has her hair done regularly and is so much like her old self. Thank you all for your hard work.

Abbey Court Care Home

from Sue A (Wife of Resident) published on 3 October 2023
Overall Experience  Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5

My husband has been at Abbey Court Care Home since June. He has Alzheimer's dementia, the staff are brilliant, they are kind, supportive and go that extra mile to keep them clean and happy as possible. The management is also brilliant, telling me if any problems with my husband and supporting me and
making me feel at home. The whole place is clean and tidy, the cleaners are health and safety conscious most of the time cleaning two if not three times a day after meals. They are caring to all the residents that are there. Could not have found a better place for my husband. Gold star for all staff for all their hard work. Thank You.

My husband is on the Forget Me Not Unit, the care he is receiving since being admitted is 100% he isn't the easiest person to deal with at times but through all his time there he has been treated with respect and kindness at all times. The staff and management have kept me up to date on everything they
do for him, I am so happy he is being looked after with the utmost kindness and care.

Dalton Court Care Home

from L D (Wife of Resident) published on 21 July 2022

My husband had a very very bad experience in the home before he was transferred to this one which caused him to be neglected and made his dementia more rapid in progress. Obviously, this caused me and my family a lot of stress and worry. So Dalton Court has made up for a horrendous experience and is
caring and professional. Can't praise and thank them enough. Thank you. Wonderful, Dalton Court staff.

My dear wife suffers from deep depression and has done so for 40+ years. She also has aggressive lower body Parkinson's. She was accepted at Abbey Court in October 2018. Both I and the family are and always have been delighted with the care given to the dear lady. Times have been tough but the staff
here are excellent, simply excellent.

Charles Court Care Home

from Alasdair C (Nephew of Resident) published on 19 May 2021
Overall Experience  Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5

I have found Charles Court in Hereford to be the most caring and professional place. My aunt could not wish for better.
The staff are diligent and thorough but always with a friendly, personal and very human touch.
Nothing seems to be too much for them; whether in caring for my aunt and her changing
needs as her condition progresses; or in supporting me and her family helping us cope with her illness.
My aunt has given the team at Charles Court challenges as her health has declined. At every stage I am kept up to date with what is going on and how they intend to handle it. Their calm professionalism and understanding of the situation is always reassuring.
From the receptionist at the front door, to the nursing and care staff, the activities coordinator and right up to the home manager, I feel everyone has my aunt's best interests at heart and they have got to know her and me.
This all makes having a relative in a care setting much easier to handle.
