So wonderful! The activity coordinator was so kind and caring. It was lovely to see the wonderful animal activities and other activities that she has put together for all of the residents at the care home. The care home felt like a home away from home, with lots of love and support for everyone. Nothing
was as complicated or difficult to do when asked.

Staff are fabulous, caring and so patient with not only my friend but all the residents within the home, my friend is cared for in such an amazing manner! All her personal hygiene is fantastic! They have a hairdresser come in so that's always kept on top of. The activity lady is always doing their nails
in the sensory/nail bar For a period of relaxation, she offers a wide range of activities always keeping them busy if it's trips out, painting, armchair travel, pet therapy she's always busy with them and they are always happy. They have entertainment once a week, someone different every time keeping the residents entertained. The food is amazing the two cooks go out of their way to make outstanding dinners! Pudding is always my friend's favourite. Domestic is always doing a great job! No job is too big for them! Her room is always clean and smells lovely. Management is always happy to help if we ever have a problem. Overall if I could give this care home any stars it would 10! They deserve it!

From the moment I first stepped into the home until the day my dad passed away, I felt confident that I could trust everyone to care for my dad the way we had. My dad said that he felt safe and well there and "the girls" were so kind to him, talking to him as if they had known him for a while. Also
listening to him even when his words held no meaning for them. Nothing was too much trouble and if he wanted to stay in bed, he could live his life as he wanted it. Thank you to everyone. You are all amazing and we want you all to appreciate how amazing you are.

My Nan is a resident and I must say it's an absolute pleasure to visit her and see how happy she is and well looked after.
The food that the lovely cook provides is beautiful and healthy.
And where to start on the activities that are provided - 10/10!
Launderette, a pub that includes quizzes etc,
trips out, pet therapy and many more activities. The staff go above and beyond to make the residents feel comfortable just as they should when it's now their home.
Thank you to all the team at Ashcroft Sutton in Ashfield you are all amazing.

Staff are always attentive to my nana's needs. Even though her Alzheimer's is progressing, she always seems happy. It gives me peace of mind to see she is well looked after. The staff at the care home were always good-tempered, polite and genuinely cared for my father as a person as well as a resident. He was always clean, dressed and well-fed. The entertainment to keep the resident's minds occupied was well thought out and planned.

Bramble Lodge is a lovely, warm and bright care home with friendly staff who we have got to know since Dad has been there and we engage in light, humorous conversations with them. When we visit Dad he is always well-shaven, clean and his room is always kept clean and tidy. There is always plenty of
activity for those residents that are able to take part and they have the freedom to stay in their own rooms if they wish. Overall, Bramble Lodge is a warm, bright and safe environment for the residents.

We are really pleased with the care that my mum is receiving at Bramble Lodge. The staff are kind, caring and very professional in their approach to looking after Mum. We don't live close to Bramble Lodge but communication and keeping us up to date has been excellent. When we visit we always feel very
welcome. Cleanliness is always good and Mum enjoys the food. Mum is very happy and well looked after at Bramble Lodge.

My mum has been in Hollybank House Nursing & Residential Home for nearly 2 years and has settled in really well. The staff are absolutely brilliant with her and mum has got a few favorites. Her room is always lovely and clean. Mum is dressed and looked after everyday. The food is amazing! Always a hot
lunch.
We can drop in to see mum whenever we like, we are always made to feel so welcome.

Hollybank House truly stands out as a definition of a 'Home'.
My mother's transition into full-time nursing care was a nervous and emotional time for all family members. The entire team at Hollybank operated seamlessly and with sensitivity to ensure my mother was at ease and fully cared for the second
she entered the premises. The same efficiency, care and sensitivity were applied to our entire family and continue daily.
The standards of care, from nursing and medical needs to nutrition and personal care and stimulation and attentiveness is exceptional.
We visited many care homes when planning the transition and none reached these standards. The house really is a home and residents and their relatives all feel like part of one large extended family and support network.
We are fully at ease that Mum is receiving the best care possible - safe, comfortable and happy. I cannot recommend this home enough.

My family member has been in Blackwell Care Home for nearly three years now and I have always found the home and its staff to be warm, inviting and informative.
Over the past year, there were a number of changes within the home which proved to be an unsettling time however with a visionary team who
continues to put the care and well-being of the residents at the heart of everything, I believe noticeable improvements are now evident. In my opinion, the staff work well as a team and are kind and courteous to residents and their visitors. There has been additional clinical support added to the nursing team and other changes within the home, such as the cinema room has proved a success with a number of the residents. Relatives' meetings are held where information regarding the home and its future plans are provided. Concerns and suggestions are also listened to and discussed.
