We could not have asked for a better place to look after my uncle in his last few weeks. The care and compassion shown by everyone has been exceptional. We were so lucky to have all your support and kind words and knew he was well looked after, safe and comfortable. It meant the world to me and my family.

Reply from Jayanthi Anthony, Manager at The Julie Richardson Nursing Home

Banbury Heights have gone above and beyond the need to look after my mum, she has been treated with respect, dignity and care. All staff are amazing going beyond their line of duty, and are golden! I cannot express my appreciation enough. I think this Care Home is outstanding. My mum is looked after,
fed, warm and comfortable in her last days of life, which are few. This home deserves credit.

Do not send family members here. Worst care home ever. Stole money from my grandmother had to get the police involved. When we confronted the staff they served notice for my gran to leave (best thing to happen as the place is so bad). The managers are awful and constantly lie. Worst thing I did was
send my family here. Should have believed the reviews I read. Levels of neglect is unreal. I visited plenty of times and its so poor. Dirty beds and rooms, unresponsive staff, latest was toilets being out of order for 4 days, took videos off this. We constantly took pictures as was so bad, had to be reported. Would not have give this place a single star if this this site would allow it, this place needs to be shut down!

We'd been desperate to get mum the right care for years, the fabulous social worker at the hospital helped us to find The Julie Richardson Nursing Home, we will be forever grateful. We couldn't have asked for more. Mum presented some difficulties but the care workers and nurses were so kind to her and
we could all see that mum was happier than she had been for a long time. The level of care was second-to-none. Mum blossomed at Julie Richardson and although she only there for six months until she died, we never ever worried for her future again in those six months. Thank you to all at Julie Richardson, you are the best.

I have to live the rest of my life knowing that I sent my mum here for the last 6 weeks of her life. The staff spoke their own language quite a bit and didn't seem to interact with my mum or other residents while I was there. Hot/warm water was given to Mum to rinse her mouth out after brushing her
teeth (when she was given her toothbrush). The food didn't look or taste nice. Should have phoned me in the morning of the 7th of August when Mum said she felt unwell and had stomach pains.

The staff here have been looking after mum here for a very long time. The care is excellent. The facilities perfect. I travel all the way from Dublin so tend to visit for a while and observe them looking after other clients and the service to everyone is always very good.

I am writing to say what a joy and pleasure it is for me to visit a friend in Banbury Heights Nursing Home. I am always warmly welcomed by all staff - management. With fifteen years of visiting, I find it a sheer joy and always look forward to going twice every week. And why is this? Simply because
of all the love and care given to the residents, especially my friend and she always says how much she likes living there and I can say, without a shadow of a doubt, I am more than impressed with what I see every time I visit.

Very helpful staff, friendly, welcoming, always smiling and kind. My mum is a high risk fall 89 mobile with dementia. She has spent 7 years in a residential care home in another town but a fractured hip led her into hospital for 7 weeks. She has been accepted at Julie Richardson Nursing Home for 6 weeks
assessment and although too far from the previous town and too far for her regular visitors I am much reassured she has excellent care at Julie Richardson.

My mum was in Julie Richardson for 10 months, all the staff were brilliant, nothing was too much trouble. I became part of the care home as well, made lots of friends. My mum settled in well there. I would recommend.

My father moved to The Julie Richardson Nursing Home in November 2023. From our first visit it was evident that Dad was receiving excellent care, and that there are always plenty of staff available to ensure everyone’s needs are met. Visitors receive a warm welcome and are made to feel part of a family.
The staff treat residents with courtesy and dignity. They take time to get to know each individual personally and pay attention to every detail. We have every confidence in the team at this care home. They managed to take Dad out on short trips locally, for which we are very grateful. My mother and I were able to enjoy a lovely Christmas lunch there, with Dad, on Christmas Day. There is a happy and vibrant community at the care home. The staff are very knowledgeable, hard-working and dedicated. I would like to thank them for looking after Dad so well.

We were all welcomed on arrival. Communication was excellent. The care and Doctor's involvement when required was remarkable. The well-being of our relative was paramount to all involved so he would have as a good quality of life as possible. We are so grateful and the end-of-life care was sympathetic
