My husband was having a month of respite care
The staff were polite and caring
I do think he was left too much on his own in his room and was not stimulated enough
I therefore had to take up this job which didn't give Me the respite I needed

My mother-in-law has been a resident for nearly four years since a fall that fractured her hip. Her dementia is slowly progressing and she is now mid stage. She has been very well cared for by the staff who are very good and patient with her. I would recommend this as a great place with plenty of activities
and entertainment which keep all the residents engaged. From the manager down everyone is approachable and happy to help in any way.

Sundridge Court Nursing Home

from N H (Niece of Resident) published on 10 March 2025
Overall Experience  Overall Experience 4.0 out of 5

Upon every visit to my aunt the staff are always welcoming and pleasant. Always willing to help with any queries or needs.
My aunt is well cared for and appears happy in the home. She likes the staff and is always smiling and holding their hands. As she is unable to verbally communicate this is very
important to her and meets her social needs. She may not always join in the activities but is aware of all that is going on and clearly enjoys the interaction.
After a period of 8 week respite we have now confirmed a permanent contract moving forward in the knowledge that my aunt will continue to be cared for in the best possible way.
Thank you to all the staff!

Galsworthy House Nursing Home

from Maria N (Daughter of Resident) published on 31 January 2025
Overall Experience  Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5

My mother initially stayed at Galsworthy House for respite and was very happy there. She returned home, but when her health deteriorated and needed 24-hour care, I had no hesitation in her returning to Galsworthy House on a permanent basis to be cared for by professional medical staff and carers. I
felt rest assured that Mum would be looked after. The staff and management are so caring and Mum has been made to feel at home. Mum has a good rapport with the carers, nurses and hospitality team and nothing is ever too much trouble to ensure mum is happy and comfortable. There are daily activities available and Mum enjoys playing Bingo, which is something she looks forward to twice a week. It's lovely to have the coffee lounge where we can sit with Mum during our visits, have a cup of tea and spend quality time with her. The care home is kept very clean. Overall I am very pleased with the standard of care Mum is receiving.

My mum originally came to Galsworthy House for respite after an illness. She settled well and was cared for by all the staff.
Since October 2024 Mum returned and became a resident, I feel fortunate to have found her a care home within a caring environment. The staff are friendly and go out of their
way to help in any way they can. Some even say "It's like being with my grandparents". I feel happy leaving my mum in such a warm and caring place. There is a lovely coffee lounge where you can help yourself to coffee, pastries, biscuits and fruit. We use these facilities often as Mum loves to come down and chat and enjoy a cup of tea with her family.
She enjoys many activities especially playing bingo with the other residents and loves joining in with singing. Overall, I and my mum are very happy.
Thank you.

Deer Park View Care Centre has the feel of a small hotel. Nice reception area and a happy buzz. It is clean, warm and all the staff, without exception are friendly and communicative. Residents are treated with respect and good humour. Attention to detail is excellent. The activities are well planned
and broadly appealing. The Pet Therapy and 'visiting farm' were particularly popular with my father. Access to physio and medical care is extremely proactive. My father is never lonely, someone is never far away with a friendly smile or greeting. A really lovely place!
