My mother moved to Chichester Hall from another home 10 months ago, but Chichester for my mother was a home from home. The staff are amazing, the care and attention she has from them all was amazing. Special mention to two members of staff in particular are truly wonderful and caring. If you are seeking
a care home for a loved one, Chichester will be a good choice. Home from home.

My mother, who passed away in August 2024 was looked after with the utmost care. The staff loved her and looked after her and treated as they would a beloved mother or grandmother. They were kindness itself to the family and offered sympathy and support on her passing, attending the funeral and shedding
tears along with the rest of us. During her stay, she was treated with kindness and respect and I was able to rest assured of her care, day and night, which was so comforting.

We had a struggle finding a home for our dad with his dementia but Woodleigh welcomed him with open arms. We were told on our first visit they were "rough and ready" but you will never meet a better group of people. The care, love and support the management and staff gave to him and the other residents
was amazing, he settled down and Woodleigh became his second home. Sadly Dad passed away in December but we will be forever grateful to the manager and all the fantastic staff for making his final year so happy and making his family so welcome. Thank you all.

My dad was a resident at Woodleigh Manor and he sadly passed away in December 2024. The care he received whilst living at Woodleigh was amazing. It became a second home to him. The manager and all the staff are wonderful. Nothing is too much trouble for them. So very caring, not just to Dad but all
the family/visitors. Dad was previously a very fussy eater but whilst at Woodleigh he ate everything so thank you to the cooks. He particularly enjoyed the homemade cakes. The whole family will be forever grateful for the love and care they gave Dad. He was very happy living at Woodleigh and we could not have asked for anything better.

Wow, just wow... a fabulous care home with amazing staff. Give my dad the best care ever! All Dad's personal care's given to a high standard. I also work in care so I'm aware of standards. These guys work really hard as a team and individually. All questions answered no matter what. Management always
available when needed. My dad has come back to his natural weight also with the lovely meals he gets. Dad's room is also nice and clean and tidy. Nothing is too much. Always a lovely cup of tea when needed. I would just like to say a big thank you. Amazing care home. And I can sleep at night knowing my dad gets 100% care.

From the moment mam went into Hames Hall 6 months ago, the manager, assistant manager and staff have all been most welcoming. I have found that they cannot do enough for mam and the other residents. They are hard working, caring and nothing is too much trouble. Mam is very happy to be there and I am
happy with the care and support she receives. There is a good choice of lovely tasty meals and they do different activities and celebrate birthdays with the residents. The Hall gets decorated for different events, Halloween, Christmas etc. Home from home. I would not hesitate to recommend Hames Hall to anyone looking for care for their loved ones.

My mum has been in the home for the last 6 years. Myself and my siblings have seen the care home improve over the 18 months. The home has been decorated, and new furniture added, which makes it feel more homely and modernised. The management and all staff, are very caring and supportive of mum's needs.
When we visit, they are all friendly and approachable towards us. Meaningful activities have been greatly improved for residents' daily stimulation. It is really nice to see them playing games, and making things together. We are happy and content with Mum living in Woodleigh for the near future.

My dad has surprised me by how well he has settled here and it's all thanks to the staff going above and beyond. His care is totally tailored to my dad's needs and mood. They have learned how to get the best out my dad and how to lift his mood when he is exceptionally grumpy. The activity coordinator
is exceptional with everyone. All the staff are excellent and I can relax at home knowing how well my dad is getting cared for.

The management is fantastic. She will go out of her way to help you and sort any issues you have. She is always at the end of the phone or working on the floor which is good to see. Sshe will go far out of her way to help the residents in her care which again is good to see. Not one of these managers
that likes to sit in their office and not get there hands dirty. The staff are fantastic. They will go out of their way for everyone. Which again is very good to see. They do work some long hours with some very difficult residents but they just take it in their stride. And again always happy to listen to any issues or problems you may have. We could not ask for better people to be looking after our family member.

My dad's been at Woodleigh Manor since May 2024, the staff and management are so caring towards him. They know how to interact with him as with dementia he can be quite stubborn. For the first time in years he's actually started putting weight on so we know he's getting well looked after. I could not
praise the staff and management enough for the care my dad is receiving.

Mum has been here since March 24. She can be very challenging at times due to her dementia but the staff are patient and kind to her always. They treat her with respect and know it's not her true personality.
They have made a difficult and emotional journey an easier one and helped us as a family
navigate through this cruel disease.
If you visit, please look past the decor (although this is going through a period of redecoration), a care home is so much more than aesthetics, it is about what the staff does with the residents. Mum has never fallen or suffered any additional ill health since being there which is a high risk for her normally considering all her health needs so this reflects so positively on the staff.

Hames Hall

Whilst looking for a care home for my mother in law, we had several excellent recommendations of Hames Hall. We were very fortunate to secure a place for her there and over the past 8 months we have found the standard of care far above expectations. I visit almost daily and always find the management
and staff very approachable, friendly and welcoming. It is a pleasure to visit and see my mother in law so happy, settled and contented. She is 99 years old in a few weeks and all her needs are catered for including a visiting hairdresser who does her hair each week. On my regular visits, I also witness the kindness and care given to other residents. The food is excellent, catering for everyone's individual needs. So much effort above and beyond with various entertainment and events are celebrated throughout the year and the home is decorated accordingly for each event. So much effort is put into every day life by the management and staff. I would definitely recommend Hames Hall to anyone looking for a high standard of care for their loved ones.

My mum had 2 weeks respite at Chichester Hall. She was apprehensive before her stay, but as soon as she arrived she was greeted by friendly, warm and caring staff. The hall itself is clean and homely and she enjoyed the food (she has put weight on!). Mum was sorry to leave and is going to miss all the
staff. I can't thank the manager and her amazing team enough. My husband and myself were always made to feel welcome and offered tea and biscuits.
