I visited the home and everyone was so welcoming and friendly. It was a lovely room and the staff were very helpful, I would definitely recommend. The weekly activities are great. Only wish they had made the move sooner!

My mother was a resident at Wiltshire Heights for nearly 2 years and recently passed away.
Wiltshire Heights was a perfect place for my mum. She received excellent attention from a loving and caring team of nurses and other staff. Her room was light and bright and had a beautiful outlook into the
courtyard where mum could see birds and squirrels.
You made my mum's last few years as comfortable as possible, and we will be forever grateful for that.
I would not hesitate to recommend Wiltshire Heights to anyone looking for a long term care home for their loved one.

My mother has settled in well, the staff have been very welcoming to both my mother and myself during move. The care has been friendly and professional. There are many and varied activities for residents, provided by a very caring and fun team. The catering team are amazing, wonderful food delivered
with pride and more friendly faces. It is a happy place.

I cannot fault the care given to my mother during the last couple of months of her life. The staff from very department were thoughtful and very often members of the care team would sit and read to her and have a chat. Overall, excellent.
However, with regard to value for money, I feel that services
such as hairdressing and chiropody should be included and a weekly physio visit.

The staff and facilities at Wiltshire Heights are both excellent. The staff are so kind and caring, yet diligent too. Everyone is easy to approach and all go above and beyond. They are worth their weight in gold.
The facilities are like a hotel! Very comfortable, well equipped rooms and lovely, comfortable
lounges around the building for time away from your bedroom, a private dining room so you can enjoy a meal with family, a hair salon etc. They also arrange and lay-on a vast array of activities including walks out for those that are able.
The food was also excellent, a great choice at meal times and tea, cake, refreshments available all the time!

Friendly reception and nurses.
Good atmosphere.
Mum is now bed-bound so no activities.
Needs help for all her care needs, and nurses seem caring and helpful. She is sometimes critical of her nurses, but I'm afraid that is probably because she now has no ability to help herself, which must be difficult
for her.
Thank you for her care.

Thank you for your review. We appreciate that these changes in dependence can be difficult for our residents, so our team work hard to ensure the transition is as smooth as possible and independence is still honoured in as many ways as it can be.

The house manager was very responsive from the time I enquired about the care home. My father is well looked after at the home and his care needs are being met. Whenever the family have a query about my father's care, we can always approach the care staff or the manager directly which is great. Keep
up the good work!

My mum has been at Savernake for almost 3 years. She has received the best care for her dementia. The staff are caring, friendly and understanding of her needs. The whole team, from reception to the carers and catering team, are always welcoming with a smile and time to chat about how mum is.
My dad
was also at Savernake before he passed following a period of illness. The staff could not have been more supportive at a difficult time.

Wiltshire Heights took our parents in at short notice for respite care following hospital stays. Wiltshire Heights was extremely accommodating, flexible and caring from the start. Every one of the staff works together very well as a most caring and cheerful team. The communal rooms are beautifully designed
and decorated and while spacious enough seem homely too. A lovely range of trips and activities.

My mother has settled in well to the care home and I feel extremely confident in the level of care that she receives. She has a new lease of life and has transformed from someone who literally sat around all day in her pants to someone who is dressed, clean and interested in the world around her. She
is taking pride in her appearance and is enjoying joining in some of the activities now. Personally I believe this has been the best move for her and having experienced another care home this one is far superior in every way. Most importantly the staff are kind and caring and make sure she is comfortable putting her needs as priority. The staff have taken on board all our concerns about my mother and have actioned anything we know about her character and how best to encourage her to enjoy these latter years ahead. We are all enjoying watching her bloom again so thank you so much.

My mother-in-law has been a resident at Savernake View Care Home for almost 18 months, the staff are very welcoming and friendly to both myself and my dog and we are welcomed with unrestricted visiting times. She has a lovely room with a little patio area of her own so it feels very homelike. The food
smells delicious with a 3-course lunch which she can select from the daily menu and if she doesn't fancy anything on the menu they are happy to make an omelette or something instead. They have tried extremely hard to find activities that interest her and we have made use of the very comfortable cinema. The orangery has activities going on every day with cakes and drinks available for guests as well as residents. Having her nails and hair done is a real boost. She receives excellent care from all the staff who are easy to approach and readily available to answer any concerns.

My mother has been looked after with considerable kindness and consideration. The staff are aware of her foibles and her somewhat cantankerous manner but are always understanding and keen to find solutions. I believe that Wiltshire Heights is well run and managed with a firm but light touch. I recommend
anyone looking for a caring environment for their relatives to take a look at Wiltshire Heights; you will not be disappointed.

My sister and I viewed several care homes in the local area when looking for a care home for our father and Wiltshire Heights was far the best by a long way of the ones we visited. Everyone from the time you step into the home makes you feel welcome. The home is beautifully decorated, clean and warm,
the food is excellent too with lots of activities going on to suit all the interests of the residents. Dad is extremely well cared for and the nursing staff are very kind, respectful and caring towards him. The team on Poppy Ward are always happy and cheerful and nothing is too much for them when you ask them for something on a visit. I am very pleased with the care my dad is receiving from Wiltshire Heights.

My mother originally came in for respite care as there were delays in purchasing her new home which nearer myself. She was there for 6 weeks and always was happy and engaged. On moving her to her new home she struggled with the change of environment and ultimately it was her decision to return to Savernake
View Care home as she felt happier, safer and more engaged then living with a live in carer.
It is a very hard decision to move a loved one into a care home as it does come with some preconceived ideas. I and all her family, though have been delighted with everything Savernake View offers to its residents and tailors it's care to the specific needs whether physical or mental. The home has a wonderful feel and the staff are all kind, helpful and caring and the facilities, activities and the wonderful choice of food make each day feel unique and different.

My father was admitted to Wiltshire Heights 4 months ago and our experience has been excellent from the start. The home is beautifully decorated, spacious and light. Food is excellent, with a good choice for every meal. Staff are very supportive of the service user and family during the initial admission
period which we found to be very emotional due to the huge change of circumstances that we were experiencing. The support is ongoing. The staff are kind, caring and friendly, treat my father with dignity and respect - he is very comfortable with all his team. The nurses are proactive in their care, and communication is excellent on all aspects of my father's care. Social needs are met by the activity ladies and the minibus team. Both teams are wonderful as they enable activities appropriate to my father's interests, having taken the time to get to know him and his interests. I can only praise and thank Wiltshire Heights for all that the staff do for us.

I cannot stress how much care was taken of my mother in the lead-up to admission to Wiltshire Heights Care Home and during her stay. Every member of staff tried their utmost to make my Mother comfortable and attend to her needs. The nursing staff in particular made sure the best care was available,
organising a special mattress when needed, and being diligent in their care. My regret is that my mother should have come into the care home earlier so that she could have enjoyed the full facilities. She did enjoy the in-house hairdressing salon which made a big difference to her. The rooms are very nice and have a pleasant outlook onto well-maintained patios and gardens and the food choice is along the lines of an expensive hotel. Security is top-notch, there was always parking for visitors available on the adjacent road close by. I would recommend Wiltshire Heights with complete confidence of care.
