I cannot fault this home one bit. The improvement in my mothers demeanor is fantastic. The choice of food she gets is great. The staff can't do enough for her. The rooms are excellent. The activities are superb.

Dad was in Rosewood from January 2025 to 27 March 2025 where he sadly passed away. During his stay he was treated with compassion and respect from all the staff. The care he received was second to none. I cannot fault the staff at all for anything, they have been amazing to my dad and my family. Even
when his health deteriorated they were looking after all of us making sure we were alright and anything we needed they sorted for us. So glad we chose this home for dad, we couldn't have wanted for anything more. Even friends that visited were amazed by the staff and said that they can tell that they really love their jobs and really do care. From my family to all the staff -from the management to the domestic staff we can't thank you enough for how you were there for all of us and gave dad so much respect to make his last days to be served in peace. X

My Gran lived here for years once she was no longer able to live independently. While her memory often failed her, we saw her treated with kindness. When she turned 101, the team helped her to feel special and when she sadly died, the family felt supported.

I'd like to specially mention one member

of staff, who worked incredibly hard to ensure residents were happy.

My Mam has been there for 9 months and we're very happy with the staff and level of care provided. It feels more like a hotel and less of a care home. Always spotless, we feel very fortunate to have found it. Thank you x

I come to see my Auntie with my mam to whom is her sister. We find the staff are very friendly and welcoming and always make conversation with us asking how we are etc. Whenever the carers come to see my Auntie they have a lot of respect and talk to her whether it's cleaning or feeding her, and still
making time to talk to us which we find really nice plus we have a laugh which is good.

All staff go "Above and beyond" in their care of my mother who has complex needs and exhibits challenging behaviour .
I was concerned when mother had to leave her long term residential home due to her advancing Dementia, that her needs may not be met, however I have found the care At Aspen Court to
be exemplary.

From my experience during visits, residents receive a high standard of care. My stepfather took a little while to settle in but is becoming accustomed to his new environment and speaks highly of the care provided.

Aspen Court came highly recommended before Mam became a resident.
The carers are exceptional and they treat the residents like family. I could not wish for better care. The staff go above and beyond for the residents and their families. They are always available to chat and reassure me if I have any
concerns. There is always a cheerful atmosphere and it gives peace of mind to know that all Mam's needs are met. She is so happy and settled and is always telling me the ladies looking after her are all lovely. I can't thank the staff and manager enough for all they do.

My Mother has been a resident for over 12 months and has received fantastic care. She's so happy, warm, clean, tidy and very well-fed. She loves the team of staff that takes great care of her day and night. There is a lovely homely feel about the place. I felt this from day one, every staff member here
cares and is so friendly it's not for show because I'm there it's how it is every day. The staff make a huge fuss over every single resident they have so patient and caring people. I regard them all as an excellent example of how you look after your loved ones. I would highly recommend them to everyone.

from Naftoli L (Son of Resident) published on 17 December 2024
Overall Experience  Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5

My mum's stay in Aspen Court was spectacular.
The dedication and care of the staff, not just to my mum who needed feeding by hand and all her personal care was way beyond the norm and I know care homes well.
Furthermore, the staff went out of their way to accommodate myself and my sister's cultural
needs and of course those of my mum in a most kind and sensitive way. I can honestly say went way beyond anything one could have expected. The home has a positive vibe with positive people running it.
Her medicines were always looked after and they never ran out.
They were on top of her health issues (myriad ones) at all times.
We felt my mum was safe even when we were not around and had full confidence in the care and the carers.
My mum often said (and she did not speak a lot) ''The staff really care for me''. She did not say that in the other home!
Another point is the size of the rooms which are massive compared to other homes which were great with massive wheelchairs and other equipment.

Aspen Court

from F B (Daughter of Resident) published on 5 December 2024
Overall Experience  Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5

My mother has been a resident at Aspen Court for 7-8 months and we have had such a positive experience. The nurses fed her with great patience and took care of her personal needs with dignity and respect.
Her religious and cultural needs as well as those of visiting family members were accommodated
with understanding and a friendly attitude was shown throughout. The home is kept clean and fresh and the room was large, bright and airy. Senior Nurses were proactive in their care, listened attentively to any concerns raised and took necessary action in a timely manner. On the rare occasions where an error crept in, a genuine apology was made and management staff ensured corrections were put in place to avoid a repeat.
I was in the home on average 2-3 times a day and walked the corridors on many of those visits, and not once did I hear a nurse or carer speak to a resident with disrespect or impatience!
We will remain forever grateful for all that they have done for us!

The staff at Hebburn Manor are wonderful! They go above and beyond every time for my mam and me, for example: one member of staff helped me out to the car when it was pouring with rain, another member of staff always buys a paper for my mother every day on their way to work. All the staff are exceptional,
this includes the carers, the entertainment staff, the cleaners and the management. If required they all work together to get my mother ready for trips out and doctor's appointments. I have watched the carers and the management staff with other residents and they all get afforded dignity, respect and love.

My mum was very reluctant to go into a care home but after thinking long and hard about the alternative of being at home alone for most of the day and overnight she realises this is the best place for her, and she has settled really well. The staff are all very helpful and easy to talk to and look after
my mum really well. The meals are really nice too with lots of variety and well cooked.
The activities staff are really lovely and welcoming and organise activities for all the residents who would like to join in. Overall I am very pleased with Hebburn Manor and I'm pleased my mother has settled in there well.
