My mom was it the home for 5 years. She was treated with the care dignity and love she needed. all the staff were polite caring nothing was to much trouble the care was. excellent.

All of the Care Team at Parklands Residential care home are amazing. Especially at Samuel House where my beautiful momma is. The Time, care and Attention they give to the Residents is the best. The care team haven't just supported my mom, they have also been a Big Support to me. Especially on days when

Overall Experience

We can't thank the staff in Collins House enough, they go above and beyond to help with anything we ask.
Very accommodating, they can't do enough for you.
The staff actually treat my dad like a friend, not like it's part of their job.
The only tiny thing we think could do better in Dad's room is

windows or patio door don't open, so when Dad needs a bit of fresh air, he doesn't really get that as he's bedbound, but apart from that, we can't fault anything else.

Overall Experience

Each and every member of the care staff was amazing. The time they took to look after my aunt was exemplary. They showed compassion and kindness that blew me away. Even in her death, the care was still abundant.

Overall Experience

Lovely care home and surroundings but definitely need more staff! Food is poor, cheap and cheerful and often cold, supplemented by taking and buying our own. Nurses are of an acceptable level, although doctor's matters are done over the phone, rather than in attendance. Entertainment and activities

are good and involve all residents. Staff are acceptable, some being better than others but friendly.

Overall Experience

My nan has been in this home for roughly 4 weeks after moving from another nursing home in the area. From what I have observed on my visits the staff are lovely and always willing to help. My nan always appears to be clean and comfortable.
Food options are much better than in her previous home and

there are more options for activities.

Overall Experience

My experience with care homes is virtually nil, which is why with trepidation I chose Netherton Green because of its locality to my home. After two weeks, my fears were blown away. The items overleaf are a true reflection of my opinion. The staff work very hard to make sure everyone is happy and contented,

when help is needed the staff are always ready to help.
Entertainment is ideal for the residents who remember the nineteen fifty's.

After a very bad experience at another nursing home, Netherton Green is a breath of fresh air. Within a week I have been able to put my full trust in the staff. Good staff and food. And good service and help. Rooms good and clean. Nursing staff good and helpful, in all things. If I had to stop in it would be this home. Rooms could be bigger for people in wheelchairs so they could get out of room by themselves.

Overall Experience

Dad moved into Darby House end of June. Settled very quickly and appears to be happy. Staff extremely helpful and very caring towards all patients. Staff go out of their way to assist with anything he requires. 100% satisfied with the care he has received.

Overall Experience

The staff are the highlight of Parklands and all deserve to be paid a lot more. They are all so hardworking and caring. They look after my relative with such respect and kindness that I couldn't ask for more. His room is kept clean and tidy. He enjoys the meals and is offered seconds if he wants more.

He is dressed in clean clothes every day. We are self-funding and the fees are crippling but at least I know he is safe and well cared for. I am kept informed of any issues relating to his health, in person or by phone. To improve, I feel staffing needs to be improved further so individual staff members are able to spend more one-to-one time with residents, talking to them and sharing memories or simple activities. I think this may already be in the pipeline. More care needs to be taken with sorting clothing from the laundry as despite having every clothing item individually labelled with sew-in tapes, my relative's clothes still go missing.
