My mum has been at Cameron House since June 2022 and whilst it was a massive change for Mum and the family. Home management and carers have helped Mum to settle in and helped me and my sister get used to and understand how Cameron House works for the residents. Working with them to ensure Mum's needs
are met has been a journey. But I cannot thank them enough for all their hard work and understanding. The loving ways they have with my mum, I feel she is in safe hands.

My mother was at Cameron House for just over a year, and we were very happy with the way she was looked after and cared for. We found all of the staff to be approachable, efficient and friendly, and we have no concerns at all in the year she was at Cameron House.

I am so happy with the continuity of care this home gives. The manager goes above and beyond every day. I am thankful I found this home and I know I have no worries with my relative being here. The staff are very happy and always willing to help with anything we require. This home has gone from strength
to strength and I am so happy for that.

My dad first came into the home in September and has had nothing but excellent care. He has recently been diagnosed with dementia and things are very confusing for him at times. He thinks he's in a hotel and that he's going to a restaurant and was getting very upset if he couldn't have a hot meal. The
home manager and staff put some changes in and added an open & close sign just to help him understand when meal times are which really helped him. He has settled in very well and it's very reassuring to know that he is safe and well looked after. Thank you for everything you do on a day to day basis.

My grandad moved into Cameron House in September this year. I have nothing bad to say about it. The manager is very supportive and will always be happy to help with any concerns we have. The manager and staff welcomed him in brilliantly and made him feel at home straight away. He has been so much happier
since moving here and has told us how much he loves it here. He is always saying how much help he gets with everything and how there's always someone about whenever he needs some help. He values the care that he receives and thinks very highly of the home. Since he moved into the care home, he has eaten much better and looks much healthier without the stress and worry of living on his own. I feel much better knowing my grandad is safe and happy living in Cameron House.

My Mum has been here since December 2022. I can honestly say she has been loved and cared for by Cameron House, the staff and management always go far and beyond to ensure her comfort and safety. Mum is happy here in her beautiful and comfortable room. Thank you.

Our Mum has been a resident for 3 years. During this time Mum has been well looked after. The staff do a great job and are very caring and approachable. Cameron House is spotlessly clean and has a range of activities provided, our Mum is limited in what she can do due to the later stages of Alzheimer's
disease, but loves a dance! Would recommend this home to care for your loved ones.

I moved my mum down from Wales to Cameron House and my sisters and I believe that it's the best move we could have made. The manager and the staff were so helpful and I could not believe how friendly they were. So we moved Mum down during November 23, which was a major task on its own as Mum had not
been out of the house for 8 years and was very nervous. After a six-hour drive, we arrived at Cameron House and Mum was made to feel at home and a part of the Cameron House family straight away. I'm not going to lie, there were a couple of teething problems with Mum's medication and her hearing, but generally she very quickly felt very at home. Mum has made a close friendship with the lovely lady in the room next door, along with others, added to that she has gone from someone who did not want to leave the safety and comfort of her armchairs to getting excited about going up to the lounge area and doing exercises and parties. I cannot thank the manager and the staff enough.

The home has a new manager and things seem much nicer for the residents implementing new procedures and very friendly, the staff are rushing around but seem very caring. Since new procedures were in place my mum has had her teeth looked at and her doctor changed to one that will come out to see her
if necessary, she looks clean and comfortable and her hair looks clean and brushed.

My Dad sadly passed away in July 23.
Dad moved in May 2022 into Cameron House, and over the time he was there I met all members of staff from the managers, carers, cleaners, maintenance man and chef, and I have to say, excellent, the lot of them.
One thing I do know is that the manager led the way
with all the wonderful caring staff in providing Dad with care, and devotion which I am so grateful he had and I never had to worry about his care all the time he was there. Very shocked when I see Amber on CQC for being Well Led as this should be Green as can be, as without a doubt what is clear is the most important thing in there is making sure the residents are looked after and that comes from the top, supported by so many lovely staff, I can't mention.
Thank you to the manager and the team at Cameron House for looking after Dad so well. It was nice to know my Dad was happy there.

We have recruited a new chef and are in the process of awaiting paperwork. They have many years of experience and are creating a new menu for the home which should be rolled out shortly.

Appear understaffed at times, especially at weekends. Would like our mother to integrate more, however, ethos appears to dictate no forcing of residents to integrate where gentle cajoling would suffice. Will not leave her room unless her family take her out. We understand her dementia makes things difficult.

Firstly, the food in Cameron House Care Home is very poor, I have to ask my family and friends to bring me food in on various days of the week to supplement my diet. However, the care, cleanliness and laundry are all good. My room is adequate for my needs and overall, I am happy with the care home.
All the care home needs is a new chef or cook as when contract cooks/chefs are used the quality of the food improves.

When we go to visit we're always met by happy and friendly staff. My cousin is very happy here. My cousin's personal needs are well cared for. He likes the food. My cousin loves being with people and enjoys the activities he takes part in. His room is always clean and tidy. His laundry and clothes are

The improvement in my mother is very high in a very short time. The management and staff are excellent and I feel so much better knowing my mother has people like herself who she mixes with all the time. The cleanliness and food are also of a very high standard.
