My wife spent 550 days in your home with severe physical and cognitive difficulties which required 24/7 care. She was confined to bed and was unable to perform her basic needs. Above all she required tender loving care and that was what she was always given. Great attention was given to her personal
hygiene and clothing. Throughout her entire stay I never once thought of making a complaint of any sort. I will always be happy to recommend your home.

Quayside Care Home

from Alan M (Son of Resident) published on 26 March 2025

My mother died two days ago and she was a resident there for about 18 months.
She was well looked after by the carers and nurses and in fact by all the staff.
I recommend the home 100% without any problem.
She was treated with respect dignity by everyone.
Its a huge step to put any member of a family
into full time care but quayside will take away any fears of this, they will look after the family member like they were there own family. I would not hesitate or recommend this home..
I was with my mum when she died at quayside and it was very peaceful and so comforting to know that even after she passed on, this was completed and done with so much peace and love afterwards.. Thankyou to all the staff, nurses, carers, laundry staff, cleaners, maintenance staff, I knew them all my name as I was up there 6 days a week.. Can't fault anyone.. Thankyou so much for all your love and respect you gave me and mum daily. Xx

Ailsa Craig Care Home

from N D (Daughter of Resident) published on 19 March 2025

Absolute disgrace my mother was put in for intermediate care after leaving hospital. we were told so many contradictory things regarding her health. Her leg became swollen we were told she was put on anti biotics. She fell out of bed the doc was called and said her injuries were superficial. She could
walk with a zimmer but then became immobile. Told her blood sugars were at 6 she was bluelighted from there today in the ambulance. Se were told by the paramedics that they are called out on a regular basis also her blood sugars are at 42 she has type2 diabetes I alerted the staff to how bad she looked on Tuesday and how ill she felt the same inept doctor came out and gave her antibiotics seemingly its a chest infection. Anytime we asked about her personal care which has rapidly went downhill we were told she refused it and it would amount to abuse if forced, hadnt been washed in weeks but all of a sudden when she became ill She was showered. I wouldn't put an animal in here STAY CLEAR

Greenfield Park Care Home

My dad was a resident at Greenfield Park Care Home Oakly Unit for 2 and a half years during which time he was well looked after by all the staff. He has good communication with carers, cleaners, kitchen staff. Even though he had vascular dementia, he enjoyed some activities when they took him to George
Square at Christmas and a trip to Falkirk wheel. I couldn't fault the staff at all especially the nurse who my dad used to have a lot of banter with over his wallet. Unfortunately my dad passed away on 2nd February 2025 although I have been back in to clear his room not once have I heard from any management.

Beaton House has been renovated and is bright and freshly decorated. The staff are friendly and helpful. We all wish the best for our family members and hope they are looked after with kindness and sensitivity. In discussions with staff members and what I experienced during my visits, I am confident
that many of the staff care for the residents as they would wish their own family members to be cared for. I hope the staff can continue to do the best they can do to look after our loved ones.

My papa lived at Alisa Craig Care Home for nearly 6 years. The care he was given was second to none. The love and compassion he and we as a family were given will never be forgotten. The staff in all departments are supportive and friendly and make you feel welcome within the home. We cannot thank Millport
House enough; they made us feel at ease with our Papa living within the care home. He loved the staff, and they loved him, and that's all we could ask for. They had his best interest at heart, and no words can be given to show how grateful we really are. They are all amazing at what they do and would recommend the home to everyone.
Thanks again for everything, yous will never be forgotten.

The care my elderly aunt is receiving at Ailsa Craig is very good. There are many activities organised including exercises to maintain her strength. The staff are always friendly and attentive.
The event's organiser is brilliant with a variety of fun activities. In addition, the qualified nurse always
updates me on my aunt's medical care. The team as a whole really seem to care about the residents well being.
The room has a nice outlook and is of good size but would benefit from some redecoration.

This was the first time I had respite and my husband was in a care home and away from me. The staff could not have been kinder or more compassionate. He was well cared for and did settle. The family could visit visit out of mealtimes. We were all made to feel welcome. I was very happy and he was ok.
He was well fed and even put on weight. I would recommend this care home. Five stars for all the staff. Well done.

My husband became a resident at Wyndford Locks in early January 2025. He was 87, had had a couple of falls at home and needed more professional care than I was able to give. It was very sad to see him leave our marital home. But the care, love and compassion shown to him at Wyndford Locks made the seperation
more bearable. He was treated with dignity and shown such affection, and just as importantly, the degree and expertise of nursing staff was exceptional.

Greenfield Park Care Home

from Margaret A (Daughter-in-law of Resident) published on 21 February 2025

My father in law has been a resident here for 2 1/2 years. He felt safe and was very happy and well cared for. He had a great relationship with the care staff. We would love to thank the care staff, cleaners that looked after his wee house that he called his room, the chef and laundry staff. He passed
away in his wee house on the 2nd February. Thank you all for all that the staff on duty that day for being there for him and his family that sad day.
However the management should be totally ashamed of themselves, not one of them contacted his daughter or his son to offer their condolences for the loss of their father, not a phone call or even a card.
They represent the home and the company so maybe it's just for the money that the residents pay and once they are gone then that's the end.

Ailsa Craig Care Home

from Karen F (Daughter of Resident) published on 13 February 2025
Overall Experience  Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5

I cannot recommend Ailsa Craig Care Home enough.
My mum stayed there from November 2024 to 09/01/2025 when she sadly passed away.
All the staff from the deputy manager to the care staff to the domestics were a credit in carrying out their duties.
I had no qualms about leaving my mum in their care
- the atmosphere was always kind and caring but always professional. The other residents were always settled and happy, a good sign. Other relatives told me the same thing.
As a retired nurse of 43 years gave me insight into numerous care homes and this one comes out amongst the top, my mum did admit if she had known about the home she would have moved in earlier!
