My parents have been residents at Ellacombe for 3 plus years now. during that time they have been very well looked after and there needs are met both in a professional and humane manner. The care at Munhaven is exceptional. The staff are consistently on form, friendly and brilliant with the residents.
She was immobile for a while but the team persevered and continuously included her in all activities and has helped her out of bed to do so. With all this care and encouragement she
is now more mobile and laughing again all credit to this brilliant team.

Harriet Court

from Bridget L (Friend of Resident) published on 8 April 2025
Overall Experience  Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5

I have noticed that my friend, who has lived at Harriet Court for three years, is gently aging. I haven't written a review for about a year, and I have realised that the caring and compassionate care staff are managing to stay one step of all her needs. My friend loves her showers and her fresh clean
clothes. She usually like to chat with the carers, particularly about Norwich City Football Club and she loves anyone who can drop her off a local paper. It is good to know that when I can't visit, there are staff who take an interest in my friend and make her feel special.

Woodlands

from S K (Niece of Resident) published on 4 April 2025
Overall Experience  Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5

My Aunt moved into woodlands in November 2024. She had lived a very troubled life through no fault of her own for many years before then so had many complex problems.
I cannot stress enough how brilliant everyone has been with her from management to carers. Right from the first day they showed her
the love and support that she so badly needed.
As soon as I entered the home it felt like a family atmosphere that both my aunt and I were welcomed into. It has taken her a while to settle down but she now calls it home and that's all down to the people that look after her.
I can't thank them enough and wouldn't want her to live anywhere else.

Mum has been a resident here for several years now with genuinely caring staff and Management. It is good to hear her laughing and singing with some of the staff and being encouraged to join in some activities as she is quite reluctant to do so but certainly enjoys them when she does. Nothing seems
too much trouble for the staff and she thinks of them as family and is quite content living there. We as a family are very grateful.

Munhaven

from Emma M (Daughter of Resident) published on 26 March 2025
Overall Experience  Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5

This amazing care home goes above and beyond for the residents.. the staff are gentle and attentive to their needs. My mum received constant reassurance in her hardest times.. nothing is too much trouble for mum or our family .. we are always put at ease and and any concerns we have are taken seriously
and dealt with immediately. Mum has never looked so well. She's dressed well, hair done , nails painted (optional) .. she always took pride in her appearance so this is very important to mum.. she s encouraged to join in with the other residents but given a quieter option should she need it.. the staff and managers are second to none .. many of them have been at Munhaven for quite a few years and I'm sure that's down to the home being so well run.. they are always on hand with a cup of tea while we chat to mum.. so very thoughtful. There's a calm at Munhaven that is so lovely .. would absolute recommend Munhaven to any family struggling like we were .

My mothers has been made to feel welcome and safe at Cranmer House and she has settled in very well over the last few months. My friend who is 97 year old became very ill with chest infection, paramedics were called, and when I received a phone call the paramedics wanted to take my friend to hospital, I refused their request and stated I wish for a doctor to be called. I could not wish for a better response from the home,
as within a very short time this had happened, medication was administered through intravenous drip and oxygen to help him breathe set up 100% quicker than hospital. The staff and care he received were above and beyond.

Have visited our relative three times since she has been in Harker House. Every time we have been pleased with the situation. She is very happy has a lovely clean room and says the food is good. She also enjoys the entertainment.
All the staff we have met have been very pleasant + smiles all round.

Beauchamp House

Overall Experience  Overall Experience 4.0 out of 5

My mother has been a resident in this home approx a year now. Her 24hr care has been provided in a professionable and thoughtfull manner. The home is quite a freindly place with activities provided to suit those with enhanced care residents mixing with the upper floor residents. We as a family get on
well with management, floor staff and residents alike. Small areas of concern have been, length of time toilets were out of order. My mother's mid week shower or bath being implemented.

Review of

Munhaven

from S F (Daughter-in-law of Resident) published on 6 March 2025
Overall Experience  Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5

The care provided to my mother in law has been excellent in every way. It is great that staff have taken time to get to know who she is and what she likes, even though sometimes she is very confused. The staff are always cheerful and friendly. They take everything in their stride, and always take the
time needed to deliver a high standard of care even when my mother in law is being extremely uncooperative.
When we visit, all the family are looked after. It is pleasant to stay and spend time at Munhaven without feeling like we are intruding.

Westfield is the most wonderful home, the care and attention is outstanding. My mother has been in the home now 3 years, always well fed and beautifully clean. The staff are fantastic, so friendly. Staff goes above and beyond entertaining the residents. This home is a 5 star.

Lydia Eva Court

from Kevin B (Nephew of Resident) published on 26 February 2025
Overall Experience  Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5

My auntie has been in the Lydia Eva Court since early January, she has settled in well and is very comfortable. The staff at Lydia Eva are fantastic and this is to include all staff front of house and behind the scenes backstage, they are all brilliant caring and full of compassion. They take pride
in everything they do for the residents and visiting friends and family. All the rooms are fantastic large and very well kept and clean, the communal areas for gatherings and activities are very good with regular daily activities which the residents take part in. The food is excellent with different choices available. We have supported several of our family members throughout several years in care homes and I must say this is the sixth care we have been associated with and by far the very best. When and if my time comes to needing a residential care home I want to be in the Lydia Eva Court Residential Care Home.

Reply from Lisa Utting, Care Home Manager at Lydia Eva Court

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback, it is very much appreciated and the value it provides to us to enable us to continue to deliver and enhance the service we provide at Lydia Eva Court is immeasurable. I will ensure that your thoughts are passed onto those staff on Butterfly House and to the wider LEC Team. Thank you.

Munhaven must be the care home to which all others aspire to be like. They have provided such amazing care for my father-in-law and our entire family and we are so grateful. The entire team are so caring and considerate, nothing is too much trouble. We have been completely overwhelmed by their support
and kindness at such a difficult time. They genuinely care and it shows constantly. From providing us with food and cups of tea to keeping us fully updated and demonstrating a level of care I only dreamt of for my father-in-law. Thank you so much we won't forget you all.
